At the request of *TT* all posts relating to the "IdleMiner" range of products should go here now.

I've locked all of the old threads, but in case there is still useful information contained within them I've made this list:

Pacific Poker Hand Grabber BETA
Bodog Hand Grabber
OnGame HandGrabber
New Software- IdleMiner
iPoker HandGrabber - BETA
NEW SOFTWARE- Lobby HUD
Help! iPoker IdleMiner/Hand Grabber
New Site:truthaboutrake.com

I just loaded up bodog for the 1st time in a few weeks and my idleminer will not launch. I click the exe file but nothing happens. I checked my task manager and there is no bodog handgrabber process running. I tried to go to idleminer.com but the website is not loading either.

Any help?

The hand grabber works now and the site loads as well. Does this mean if their website goes down I can't use the handgrabber?!

Hey guys,

We are almost complete with the first stage of fixing the software to work with the new Full Tilt client and we should release it within the next few days. This update will not include table opening functionality but will be able to grab observed hands from open tables.

Thanks for your statement tim.
How's it done on the technical site? Are you hooking up onto the QT library?
I'm not asking for any intensive details about the used technology but I'm very interested in your approach to the problem...

Incredibly as a barely computer literate person I may have solved the Bodog grabber issue.

In Vista (no idea if it works for other thingys), if you right click on the icon, select properties, select advanced and "Always run as administrator" it SEEMS to work.

I have a tiny sample size of this so far, but figured I'd post and see if it worked (or didn't) for anyone else

Better yet, just turn off UAC and you'll avoid all those type of problems.

Wait, maybe I'm out of the loop here, but it IS possible to mine Bodog? I mean both technically (as you describe above), but also according to their terms & conditions? I don't play Bodog, but this might get me to make a deposit and start.

I have a problem with iPoker and Everest HandGrabber - I set it all up, but no hands are ever saved.

I run Pacific HG and it works perfectly. I use Zonealarm.

Anyone got a fix for this?

So before I buy the Full Tilt hand grabber version (v1.29), is it in fact working for observed tables? Has anyone tried it out yet?

I want to get Idleminer for play on Bodog so I can track my hands. It's $50 on top of my HEM. I only need Bodog at the moment - I have a free Party one but who knows what the future might bring. I see if I deposit $50 on Titan, Mansion or Red Kings and earn 300 points I can get all seven Idleminers for free. This would then cover Bodog, Party, FT, 888, Absolute, Ongame, Everest & iPoker.

Has anyone done this. Is it feasible or worthwhile or should I just shell out for the one version. If the bonus route how is the best way to go about getting 300 points asap - I saw a post the other day recommended super tight short stacking play @FR and while it pains me to even consider this if it's the way, why not - and then get my money out if there is any left!

Most of all who uses Idleminer and is it good, buggy, waste of time etc.

I'm also wondering if idleminer is still working on FTP.
They don't seem to be responding to emails.

Anyone else care to shed some light on all this?

As far as I know it might not be possible anymore to produce an IdleMiner for FTP (due to recent changes in their client). But FWIW the hand grabber works just fine.

BTW, since a few days it seems Ongame hands don't get saved anymore for me. Anybody else noticed this as well?

As of today, Idleminer is still capturing observed tables on FTP.
The only thing FTP can do is create their client software to block datamining.

All this stuff about FTP being about to observe all the processes going on a player's computer is either by FTP or by someone with some really bad security.
Why would anyone want to run software on a daily basis that gives out information of processes running on their own computer?

Well, no one would WANT to give their info away, but I'm pretty sure the way FTP (+ Stars, Cereus, and other) installs on your machine, it allows them to do things like monitor your processes and scape your screen to try to see what's running but only while you're logged on and running their software.

I've been curious about bots and how people run them; apparently this is a very real possibility. I believe there are precautions to take, like trying to install the casino software into a private folder in a restricted account so it can't scan files outside of that folder, but I'm not sure how it's done exactly. Does anyone else know how this works? If they can, it is indeed creepy that they can essentially run spyware on your computer

How sure is pretty sure?

I am 1000% sure that nothing like this happens while you are not using a poker client. Besides, if it would be any different then the poker client would behave like malware and your anti-virus/-malware programme should notify you about it. The big question is really what the clients re capable of when they run (and you are logged in).

Hi everybody, I have big problems, I play on Littlewoods and i use pacific handgrabber

First when I want "launch" littlewoods the program say me "Please select the folder chere you installed game" i can do that manually but I have to do evrytime. Someone know how can it's possible to do the process only one time and save it?

And second, when I open table, the handgrabber show hands save like "save 500 hands" in C:\Program Files\Pacific Hand Grabber\History but when I see in the folder nothing appear, so when I try to import in hold'em manager, It doesn't work.
I use vista and Norton firewall and my version of handgrabber is 2.17

Thanks to help me.

So is it safe to use IdleMiner on FTP? Or will they be able to recognize that I am using it an lock my account?
