How can SB overcall if BB flat calls?
Hi Mangelord,
Thanks for your question. Naming a range can be a tricky problem.
Due to complexity of potential preflop action and lack of text space we use simplifed names for ranges.
We didn't have range names in ICMIZER 2 and sometimes it was too difficult to understand what certain range represents.
So we introduced range names in ICMIZER 3.
However, the task of parsing preflop actions and displaying a short and clear name for a range can be very tricky. There are a lot of words in ICMIZER lexicon that can have a double meaning. In ICMIZER "call" usually means second all-in, but it can also mean a call in situation like this where someone pushes and you just call non all-in because you have more chips than they do.
Or someone can raise non all-in and you call that but the raise is bigger than your stack so you technically push.
I hope this helps a little. In this case it uses simplified naming of "raise" because he isn't all-in.
On your screenshot where we call it a "call" and you expect a push we use our second all-in name which is "call".
It is partly due to complexity of the problem, partly due to historic reasons.
In most cases when you see following words in ICMIZER they have a clear meaning:
Push = first all-in. Call = second all-in Overcall = third all-in.
VPIP or Raise - non all-in bet.
