I'm guessing not because that would mean we have to raise fold TT and AQ with 8bbs in the example you gave... In that case are you working on a model that would allow us to see what we can open with and then show us what our raise calling range and raise folding range would be? Obviously this would only be practical with say 5-16BBs to "void" the villain flatting?
Please respond...

Hi

Sorry for not answering sooner.
Generally, to find the optimal opening range you need to click Calculate Nash Equilibrium Beta button.

See this screenshot for this situation:
http://icmpoker.com/screenshot/YwTNBY/

As you can see, in such a situation we aren't folding much.

Note that Calculate Nash ranges with raises is still in Beta, and the ranges aren't as good as they could be. The Beta phase will be officially over with the release of ICMIZER 3 where these calculations will use mixed strategies.

However, even with Beta functionality, the calculated optimal opening percentage is quite close to the optimal strategy.

If you edit everything manually though, as in the initial example, it would mean that we aren't talking about anything optimal anymore. Optimal ranges are only produced when you use the Nash equilibrium button.

Hi. Thanks for asking.
Like I always respond, somewhere in 2018, when it's done.
Cannot be more specific than this, it is a major undertaking.

its a little distracting so if it's useless i'd like to turn it off
I've published an article with the short description of all of the latest additions to ICMIZER 2:

What is the Bubble Factor in Poker and Why Should I Use It

I recommend to check it out to everyone, because some of the new additions could have gone unnoticed.

So when i read it right in the artikel i have to use fgs5 3handed? Why that? Always thought it should be 1round of blinds.
Great work there btw sounds interesting!

Ive watched this vid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5w_iguZl2IY

and read the comment. Did anything change in the last couple of months? Im talking about analyzing hands from lets say 90man pko turbos, but semi FT or the very start of the sng?

Re: ICMIZER 2

Why ICEMIZER shows different results if I calculate nash or just calculate afterwards? And all the call ranges stay the same despite huge difference between 7,1% shove and 11% shove?

If I press calculate Nash:

IF I press calculate afterwards:

Hi.

No, currently there are no changes regarding PKO tournaments and early stages of MTT. We're focusing on the release of ICMIZER 3 asap.

Please refer to this article to learn about the reason for this difference:

Hi

Currently, my observations lead me to believe that 2 rounds of blinds 3 handed lead to much better equity approximations than just 1 round, so FGS5 is recommended. We will switch SNG Coach default for 3 handed to FGS5 soon too.

Re: ICMIZER 2

I still can't figure out image below (used calculate Nash button) when hero's pushing 7,1% (88+, ATs+, AJo+) is UTG calling only TT+, AKs?

Why UTG isn't calling shove with AKo which has more equity against hero then TT?

Hi.
As stated on the button, Nash equilibrium calculation with a non-all-in raise is currently in Beta. It works very fast (almost instantly) and finds an approximate Nash solution. So not all ranges are optimal.
In ICMIZER 3 we will introduce the fully featured mixed strategy Nash equilibrium approximation calculations and the ranges will become much closer to the optimal Nash ranges, however, it will be slower than it is now.

Re: ICMIZER 2

How are we meant to set up PKO's for variable field sizes like the $30 18-90 mans ?
It asks for number of players and ko size...

Hi
If I understand your question correctly, then for each PKO tournament you will need to create a custom separate tournament with correct number of players & ko size (and a suitable name).

Please refer to this article for additional information:
https://www.icmpoker.com/en/blog/pro...kout-strategy/

Let me know if I misunderstood your question and I'd be glad to help.

No, only for a different tournament. Also once you have several structures created you will be able to simply choose an existing one for the certain hand history. But yes, unfortunately, it is not as easy to review them as SNG tournaments where one tournament can serve dozens of potential buyins.

The VAT goes to your government, we get the same amount of dollars from each customer. But I agree, it would've been great if there was no need to pay VAT.
I am not sure why sellers would be paying taxes for the buyers. Imagine if the country introduces 100% VAT. Should the seller get 0$ then?

Update: Global Poker SNG tournaments were added to SNG Coach

You can now use SNG Coach for these tournaments which are quite popular among SNG players.

Re: ICMIZER 2

I have a couple questions about Icmizer. First off, if I purchase a monthly subscription for it, can I cancel at any time? Also, what does VAT mean, and how much extra will that be with subscription? Lastly, I play live poker, will Icmizer be helpful for me? Thank you.

Hi.
1) You can purchase a monthly subscription and stop autorenewals immediately so that you are only charged for 1 month
2) VAT means some tax which varies from country to country, its 0% for some countries, and like 25% in other. You can click purchase button on our pricing page to see what VAT looks like for your country:
https://www.icmpoker.com/en/purchase/
3) ICMIZER will help if you play tournaments which have a stage when you are push/folding, or to be more specific when the effective stack at the table is 20bb or less. Most live tournaments fall into this category, except for the slowest and deepest ones

I live in the U.S. in Florida. What would the VAT be for me? I couldn’t find a pricing page that includes VAT.

Thanks.

Re: ICMIZER 2

Hi

Simply click the purchase button on the subscription and you will see the price with VAT.
Unfortunately, I do not know all VATs by country/state. They are calculated on the fly by FastSpring payment processing systems when you enter your address information during the checkout.

Re: ICMIZER 2

Hi,
Is there any way to review the stat of my SNG Coach quizzes sessions, f.e. day by day information on the amount of questions answered and no. of mistakes
I would like to track the progress that I make on learning icm spots.
