Hi there. 2 unrelated questions.

1) Trying to understand the results in "ICM %EV" and "ICM $EV". Is the %EV of the pot and $EV of the prizepool? So if I have a push/shove decision on the button with blinds 100/200 and 200 antes in $1,000 total prizepool and my stack of 2,000 and ICMIZER says K5o is +0.25% and $EV is $0.60, what does this mean in an economical sense?

2) I just upgraded to Nitro. Cool feature btw. An issue that I see is apparent is say top 6 pay out in MTT and were down to 2 tables of 6. My imported hands in Nitro think we are in the money and analysis of this is horribly wrong. I see I can click MTT checkbox and adjust, but this would be cumbersome and tough to remember all situations if I play 10-20 tournys in a day. Any fix for this?

Thanks in advance!

Hi 23LBJ23

1) Both are about the total prize pool. %EV is % of total prize pool, $EV is simply %EV × prize pool $.
So for example +0.01% becomes +0.1$ if the prize pool is 1000$.

2) The automatic analysis supports MTT. You can check the MTT checkbox while loading the tournament & enter the total number of chips in it, select the correct tournament and get very reasonable results. Unfortunately, we cannot know exact stacks on other tables, but even randomly generated stacks produce pretty good results. That is pretty much as good as it can get in a situation where you aren't sure how exactly stacks on other tables looked like.

Check this screenshot to see how it can be entered:

ICMIZER Update 2.18.0

You can now load PartyPoker screenshots as if they were text hand history files in ICMIZER.

PartyPoker has recently stopped saving hand histories as text, disabled HUD, and introduced some other innovations. This has created difficulty for our customers who can longer load hands in ICMIZER as easily as before.

While entering stacks by hand is streamlined in ICMIZER the automated handloading is highly preferable. ICMIZER update v2.18.0 brings a new experimental feature—you can now load PartyPoker screenshots and ICMIZER will "magically" recognize the situation at the table using the computer vision technology.

Please make sure that the screenshot is created using the ALT + Print Screen keyboard combination. The screenshot should have a clearly visible window header in order for ICMIZER to recognize it correctly.

If you have any problems don't hesitate to contact us: support@icmizer.com
More detailed article about this feature is here: https://changelog.icmpoker.com/load-...st-2019-113225

Currently "hand history" table screenshots are not supported, only "play table" screenshots. Better support for more types of screenshots is coming soon.

I just upgraded to ICMIZER 3, and I'm unfamiliar with the new features/interface. Will there be a written or video tutorial?

Hey! Thanks.
Sure thing, it will be available very soon.
Also, note that you can switch to ICMIZER 2 interface in options but keep automatic hand analysis.

Could you please give us an option to use big blind ante instead of normal antes for calculations?

Just upgraded to ICMIZER 3. Can you weight multiple hands at once? Or only one at a time?

Hi. We're considering this but it's not on our shortlist.
The resulting ranges are not going to be too different from what you get with the standard antes and this is not a popular format among our users yet.
This changes a lot in terms of live play, making the dealers work easier, however, essentially the format and strategy stay pretty much the same.

Hi.
Thanks for the upgrade!
You can edit weights one hand at a time. The easiest way to do it is by using the mouse wheel.
I've prepared a short video tutorial for upgrading customers, check it out here, I explain this and other new features there in detail:

Hello!

First of all, awesome software, love it!

I've got a problem concerning the automated hand analysis. I mainly play MTSNGs on Pokerstars, 45-180. ICMIZER analyzed that I seemingly missed some any2 spots in a 45 MTSNG, although we were far from itm (~15 players left with 7 paid); but it seems like ICMIZER assumes that we're already at the final table? Did I something wrong or do I simply have to enter MTT mode and add the remaining players on the other tables to get a correct result? afaik there are no any2 spots (on default, depends ofc) if you're not at the bubble/itm.

Would be nice if you could help me solve this problem.

Kind regards!

Hi gogokamo
Glad to hear that you love ICMIZER 3
Regarding your question, ICMIZER generally doesn't assume anything.
It works with your input. If you're reviewing final table plays, do not turn MTT mode on. If you're far from FT, turn the MTT mode on.
So in your case, click the MTT mode in auto analysis settings and enter the number of chips in your MTT.

This will ensure ICMIZER will not see the hands as if they were played on the final table.

Hi
Please forward hand histories file to support@icmizer.com so we could update our parsers.
Guess they've changed the format.

Hey Q, would you recommend using FGS for straight chipEV calculations?

Majority of my calculations are for chipEV calculations usually 6-9 handed, <15BB eff. stacks.

I notice it will alter the results ever so slightly. Say I have 15BB UTG, 9 handed in chipEV scenario, this is how the results will vary when running NASH equilibrium.

FGS 0 = shove 11.01%
FGS 1 = shove 11.69%
FGS 2 = shove 12.19%

Would be great to hear your thoughts.

Is there any way in icmizer to compare the EV of different options (e.g. min raise vs shove / 3-bet shove vs flat call...) similar to HRC?

Hi
I am on the fence with FGS and Chip EV.
On one hand there are reasons to use it.
On the other hand since everyone posts blind once per round it kinda even itself out over the course of deep FGS.
So right now my general recommendation is not to use it for Chip EV calculations unless you understand why you're doing it.

I'll be honest, I have re-read all the FGS articles posted on the ICMIZER website over and over again and I still can't fully wrap my head around how it works.

Can you give an example of where you might think using FGS in a ChipEV scenario would be beneficial?

What is this SCAM icmizer?

I got email from them:
"Just a quick note...

Today, September 30th, is the last day when you can upgrade your ICMIZER 2
to ICMIZER 3 at the lowest possible price: $5.49.

Tomorrow, October 1st, this price will double.

I don't want you to miss out on this ICMIZER 3 Launch Upgrade Offer so here is your personal upgrade link:

Your personal direct upgrade link to our Store:
Upgrade to ICMIZER 3 for just $5.49"

I was curious about what new ICMIZER 3 can do with mix ranges, so decided to try for 5.49 usd, even though it wasnt really clear if that is one time or will be monthly.

This is the payment wall I got redirected to:

https://ctrlv.cz/shots/2019/10/02/kkqS.png

5,49 usd, over 6 usd with tax.

Then I get email about buying whole one year sub (I have a running subscription already) and 179 usd, with tax 217 !!!

WTF is that? How did you just take over 200 usd when I accepted 6 usd payment?
