And it makes MP1 3bet my UTG open to 10%, which is again way too loose.
But if I change these ranges manually, it's no longer a Nash calculation?
I'm confused!
Hi
This kind of situation is best handled by manual editing of ranges.
Just make sure your ranges make sense. For example, after the player on MP1 reraises, he becomes super unlikely to fold due to his position and pot odds.
So generally both of his ranges should be the same. I just dont see him bluffing there much against you, he may fold if there are couple all-ins behind him though, but not against UTG.
To question about how Nash equilibrium Beta works.
When you click Calculate Nash ranges button in such situation ICMIZER finds an optimal solution to a poker
subgame where the first player to VPIP raises 1100, the second player always reraises 3300 and only then all other players push or fold once the 3300 bet has been done.
It is a rather limited game and it also happens to be pretty hard to find Nash solution in, so the result in ICMIZER currently is in Beta stage.
It will be non-beta in ICMIZER 3, once we add weighted ranges, which allow finding much better approximations in hard cases like this.
The best way to work in such situations is to first calculate Nash ranges, then to edit them according to your reads about ranges of your strategy and strategy of other players.
Hope it helps.
