Re: ICMIZER support

Hey Hangson.

Named ranges - dont have a very high priority currently I am afraid.
Current plan is add future game simulations calculations first.

As for Hand selection - this bug probably only occures in zoomed version of windows. If not, please let me know asap.

Recent update fixed problem with Range editor which had similar bug in zoomed version.

Apparently hand selector in zoomed version isn't working still.
However you can select hands in results grid and achieve the same (hand selector is basically not needed anymore cause all EVs are visible on result tab).

I will fix this soon though, but notice that in non zoomed version everything is working just fine, and zoomed windows is a rare use case.

Re: ICMIZER support

Hey. Current plan is to add default functionality first. Its a rather complex task which requires a lot of code optimizations and other tricks.

Once its ready we can think about improvements of default implementation.

Re: ICMIZER support

I just saw that ICMizer is not allowed to be used on PS while running any game http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/room/prohibited/ .
I wasnt aware of that in the past and I use the Browserversion so it was running in my browser from time to time and i had it open.
Do I have to fear any consequences?

Re: ICMIZER support

It had been added into list officially around middle of september I believe.

I am not aware of anyone getting some penalty for this, but as written in ToS you are responsibble for following your poker room rules regarding allowed software.

ICMIZER has "allowed when PS client is not running status". I don't think anyone should be super worried though, if anything, PS would first make a warning.

I have written about this in latest changelog here:

http://www.pokericmcalculator.com/en...lator-release/

Also there is currently a DDoS attack and server is slow/unavaible at times. THanks for your patiences, I guess competitors also recognize ICMIZER now.

Hi,
it is not possible to compute heros pushing range in spots like this, is it? Will it be added someday?

Re: ICMIZER support

Limps have been discussed earlier in this thread.

Currently its not possible, for details please check this thread: limp EV discussion.

Actually I plan to add some kind of implementation very soon, but still its not going to be possible to be certain about limp calculations, due to EV check being uncalculatable properly.

Re: ICMIZER support

Updated 2012 FTP hand histories format had been added in supported formats to Parse single & multiple hand histories.

We dont happen to have a large sample of different new hand histories (with timeouts, reconnects etc), so there might be some problems in difficult cases.

Generally most Full Tilt Poker hands should be parsed without problems now. If anything goes wrong with FTP hands loading up please contact support.

mato4, thanks for kind words=)

Re: ICMIZER support

i just registered and will certainly think about purchasing in the future. I am going to get familiar with it first

I went to options as a registered user

why is the default "min EV difference" .2, and what exactly does this mean?

well i know what it means i guess, we want 20% edge to make our decision EV, right??? well, this number seems to high. I just really need to be working on all of the small details. In the past for me its almost always SNG wiz and if i even have a 1% ev edge i just try to mimic that in game with the 1% edge play LOL, this is pry not the best way to approach STT......

anyway, i just read the help section and it looks like great stuff, i am going to try familiarizing myself very much with the program and the numerous charts offered

Re: ICMIZER support

RASTAFA JEMCLA, Sorry for the delay.

Please send me precise bug report to support email with sample file you are having troubles with. Just one thing, keep in mind you need to be using multiple hands parser user interface (might be obvious or not).

p2 dog, p2, 0.2 is just a number. Its reasonably noob friendly I think, so if you make a reasonably big mistake in assuming opponents ranges 0.2 can still work. Of course you are not limited to that number, some prefer using 0 value and knowing what hands are profitable or not. If you are playing bigger tournament than SNG than 0.2% minDiff wont be good enough, cause its going to be a huge value (its percents of total prize pool) and its possible that literally no hands would match such difference.

Im not sure im familiar with this? I just though I could click "Load file" select the text file of the particular HH, and it would load that to analyze?

One person can use ICMIZER from different computers.
Account with others sharing is clearly not allowed though.

Re: ICMIZER support

Hi, I apologise in advance for this dumb question but im new to ICMIZER.

Ive used SNGWIZ for a while now and my question is this: Is the ICM calculator in both programs identical? What i mean is this: if the same hand was plugged in to both programs with an identical range for villains etc would we get an identical result?

If not why - and what is this difference?

Thanks,
Solidthought

Re: ICMIZER support

Hey simple answer is no, SngWiz calculates its wrong.
Basically I created ICMIZER because wiz was calculating it wrong.

If you need details you can check this thread first post: https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/16...s-mac-1098999/

Or read big article here: http://www.pokericmcalculator.com/en...on-comparison/

Wiz is an old program and uses simplified approach to calculations, which produces wrong results.

Re: ICMIZER support

Having trouble understand what 'min EV Diff' means. Looked around on 2+2 and the site but didn't find any detailed explanation.

From what I can understand, let's say for a HUSNG - after inputting all the variables, we see that our expectation from 3bs K6o is +t0.4, EVPush is t480.4 and EVFold t480. The EV difference is 0.4 chips. So if we only want to see hands (that we 3bs with) that have better than 5 chips in ev from 3bs vs. folding then we would put a value of 5 in min EV Diff. Is this correct?

Thank you

Re: ICMIZER support

Yes thats precisely correct.

Its just a filter parameter which filters results by this difference between EvPush and EvFold.

Re: ICMIZER support

I play only 10-man Double or nothing sngs on Merge and cake/revolution network.
Is this software useful for me?
Also does this have Future game simulation which sng wiz lacks till now.
Also does this have a quiz feature like sng wiz for 10-man DONs?

Thanks

Re: ICMIZER support

pretty dissapointed with the software so far but haven't used it too much (dont see much use for MTTs) , but I have a gripe that I came upon immediately,

trying to plug in payouts for a $163 tournament that has layover, and its not letting me insert my own stats because the # of entrants doesn't match the prizepool (because of the layover). Any way around this? thanks

Re: ICMIZER support

VISH MASTER, double or nothing structure is supported and ICM is very special in DONs so yes it will be useful.

I am currently working on Future game simulation, so it will be soon supported.
There is no quiz mode currently.

czGLoRy, you say your dissapointed but you don't say what you expected and what you cannot do, that is what leads to dissapointment.

ICMIZER does ICM calculations, including MTTs.(which you are using it for I guess) If you think you don't need ICM knowledge in MTT then maybe you will find it not so useful. A lot of MTT players have no idea about ICM and still make money.

As for creating payout, there are 2 modes. Percent and dollar mode.
In percent mode you just enter percents till it fills up 100% of prize pool.

If you want to create payout in dollar mode you just need to know total prize pool (you can enter just 1 participant and then entire prize pool to those 2 fields, and then distribute those dollars as they are in tournament). Once you are done don't forget to save payout structure you created for future use.

Number of players and buyin fields are not strict fields, they are there to help you create new payout structures.

Hope that helps

Re: ICMIZER support

ICm is definitely pretty critical. I was trying to pop open ICM and quickly plug in numbers for an MTT with 15 left, and it took me a very long time to plug everything in, and then it wouldnt let me calculate it because of the overlay. I might have just missed something, or been going about it the wrong way, but it seemed to me like it was impossible to calculate because the MTT had an overlay.

If there is an MTT with 6 left, and X$ to split between them, shouldnt we be able to just plug in the 6 remaining stacks, prize distribution to each position, and hit calculate? This wouldnt work (and i did it with the 18 remaining players).

Being able to enter in total chips in play and prize pool and work from there would be easier than having to customize buy ins, prize pool structures, etc.

Again im pretty unfamiliar with the software so I might be doing it wrong, but I was finding myself pulling up some free ICM calculator online instead of using my paid ICMizer recently.

thanks
