Do you get an error message or some actual crash? In the case of a crash, check that your firewall actually allows HRC to connect to the database port.

Hello there!

I was calculating a spot with a bubble factor. There were 245 players remaning and the ITM starts at 243. Only 2 players to go

The EV was shown below in the picture

It says that jaming the AQo gives a +$5.89

But if I fold I can almost guarantee the ITM prize, around $12

So I would like to understand if the shove is good or not

In other words, the shove by itself gives +$5.89 but does it count the times were we get called and got busted?

Thanks a lot!!!!

Of course, it considers the times you get called and you bust or double up. Just make sure you enter prizes and the stacks from other tables correctly, the calculation will handle the rest

There are around 25 tables left, it is impossible to input this info.

Anyway, supposing that we are almost 100% guaranteed to be ITM if we fold, and it gives about +$12, does we have to consider this amount when comparing the EV of the play?

Because jaming gives me +$5.89 so I prefer fold to get ITM

Thanks a lot

I'm using the Beta version and I would like to compare the EV do calling a 3bet or 4bet shove

I made this betting setup

It gave me this result

So lets pick the AJo as example

Calling has 2.59bb EV and it is played 0%

Jaming has 0.97bb EV and is played always

Why is that?

Also, if I click "Best response" on the CALL line, it changes all the range to call and 0% shove

How to interpret the results?

Thanks a lot!

About the MTT hand: By entering it correctly I meant making sure that the # of remaining players and avg/total chips were correct.

Calling is 5.89$ better than folding, so folding is quite a blunder if the ranges are accurate.

Regarding the other calc: Run more Nash iterations (green button) if the highest EV option isn't played 100%.

Plexiq, i've been running monte carlo sims in HRC BETA (advanced) with 1000m samples just to be sure that the results are accurate. Do you recommend to lower the samplesize to for ex 500m and still get the "same" results, or would this give us wayoff results?

Hello,
is bubble factor table showing correct results when running Multi Table ICM sims? I am getting weird results.

It should work fine with MTT, but feel free to send me the hand setup and I'll check it for you.

The # of iterations required depends on the size of the game tree, among other factors. So it really depends. A 10mb tree will probably be more than fine with 1000m iterations, a 10gb tree will require way more than that.

We have a convergence indicator planned, to give users a better idea about the state of the calculation. No ETA yet though.

Did you select more than 3 players for the Monte Carlo player limit?

In the current version the size estimation always runs with max 3 active players, regardless of the actual setting used for the real calculation. This means it will under-estimate the tree size for calculations with an active player limit >3. We already have this patched and the fix will be included in the next update.

In the meantime you can try removing the secondary Postflop sizing and/or some of the 3 way options. Or use max 3 player for the MC limit.

Hey, I think the EV for jamming is in comparison to the EV of folding, which already calculates the chances of you being ITM. So if the EV of folding were to be 12$, it means that jamming AQo would give you around 17.89$.

Hello. For 9 max knokout, will the push-fold calculation be more accurate in Monte carlo than in basic for all positions?

In general Monte Carlo is more accurate because it accounts for folded card removal effects (and optionally allows 4+-way pots).

The important thing about Monte Carlo mode is to make sure to run sufficiently large samples.

Make sure you copy the original format ("copy raw"). If you still have troubles then please send us a few HH examples to support@holdemresources.net and we'll look into it.

It's the same issue in both cases, for some reason the format isn't recognized. You didn't mention the poker site, where were these hands played?

On Pokerstars, and with the add tournament i do like in your video and i find the .txt file and load it in HRC, but then no hands are shown.
