Yeah, we'll address this at the end of the beta cycle, along with new Windows installers etc.

Hi,
is it possible to delete only a single custom structure for the payout instead of all the saved custom structures?

In the current stable version that's not possible.

In the beta version you can manually edit your saved structures in a text editor (search for a file called custom.json in your home directory, be sure to back it up first if you make changes). If it's not urgent I'd recommend to wait a few weeks though, we'll add the option to manage custom structures within the program soon.

Hi,
I need a clarification when setting up a hand for a PKO tournament.
In the dialog page where I setup the bounty per player, I need to put the actual money I get from knocking my opponent out (e.g. the number you see next to the player in pokerstars) or the number I see next to each player (e.g. in 888 PKO tourney I get only half of number that I see). Thank you in advance

Enter the full bounty amount on the player, not just the part that will be immediately paid out on elimination.

I still cant copy/paste a HH from 888, is it a problem on my side or HRC stopped supporting this format? Thanks in advance

Make sure you have the latest version via Help: Check for Updates. There was a format change on 888 a while back, but it should work fine with the latest version.

If you still have problems, please post your version number from Help: About: Installation Details.

Hello I was just charged $77 by HRC. I haven't had an active subscription in years, and when I open HRC it tells me I have no valid licence token. I don't know why I have been charged, I have no desire at all to use this program, and havent used it in years. My email is olioliolion@gmail.com

Is this a separate issue than the one you just emailed about, or is this all about the same charge? You mention different amounts. In any case, I'll reply by email.

Sorry if this has already been covered at some point. I'm new to HRC and would like to evaluate a spot from a live MTT, where about 1,000 of an original 2,500 players remained, and 378 spots were paid.

Is there any easy way to indicate these things in HRC? The dropdown menu under "Prizes" in the "Basic Hand Data" window shows only 90-man and 180-man. Is there a custom option somewhere? Thanks for your help.

Sure, you can enter custom structures. I'd strongly recommend the beta version for that, the process is a lot easier there. Please see quote below, simply skip step 4 if you don't need knockouts/bounties.

(I'd recommend to enter the actual structure, but you can alternatively enter the full 25k as first prize, but that will essentially skip the ICM part of the calculation.)
4) Bounty: For regular bounties select bounty mode KO and enter the bounty per player. For progressive select PKO and enter the bounties next to the players' stacks if they were not automatically pasted from the HH.
5) Click next, use the top button to generate remaining stacks from other tables. Ideally you need to know total chip count and the number of remaining players. Click ok and make sure the numbers in the stack summary match your expectation.

That's it, click finish.

Do I have to do anything different to import my HHs from PT4? I'm using HHs from ACR and saving them to disk then importing into HRC Calc isn't working as it did previously.

I haven't tried an import since the ACR update, altho I just updated my HRC Calc today.

Must be a problem with the format of the post-update ACR HHs...I just tried importing an old ACR HH and it worked fine.

We already have a few new WPN histories for testing, but if you could send some additional HH files in the new format to support@holdemresources.net that would be helpful to make sure we got all important structures / spots covered. Thanks!

I was wondering if HRC is only including hands with ev>0 for the shoving range ?

Here is my problem:
I tried to compute range for Nitro Spins (15bb deep 1 min levels ) when we are 3bb deep.

On the BTN HRC does not push with 22 because it must not be ev+.
But my problem is that if we fold we are now in a new game which is even less profitable:
- we are on the BB and will call any hand where it is better to call that to fold and lose 1bb out of our 3bb stack, so I would say folding implies getting to a -1bb game, so not a 0bb ev game.

So when on the BTN shouldn't we be indifferent between shoving and folding into a -1bb ev game?

^ If you want to consider the implication of the next hand(s) then use FGS, ideally with multiple rounds. This seems to be 3-handed, so you can quite easily run 5-6 hands deep.

(In any case, BB is probably not close to losing a full big blind in EV in the next hand - check the EQDiff to see how much the BB position actually loses in that setup. Using FGS the calculation will actually take that into account for the current hand.)

Hello ladies and gents,

Long time since I used HRC, when should I click this button "Run Nash calculation"/Alt+R ?
https://gyazo.com/5f971e6091c0a0a9a22d0a35ad69195c
Should I always use it ? or only ICM wise ..

Thanks in advance, keep up the great work

This runs a fresh Nash Calculation for all unlocked ranges. When initially calculating a hand, it automatically runs a Nash Calculation at the start. So, unless you change something, it's usually not necessary to run it again.

But you should run this in case you manually adjusted (and locked) some of the ranges, to re-adjust the remaining ranges to your manual changes.

Also, for complex hand setups the initial Nash calculation may not converge properly with the default number of iterations. You can recognize this if -EV hands are included in ranges. (Alternatively check the %Exploit values in the outline, these show the distance to a true Nash Equilibrium and should be close to zero for a good approximation.) In these cases simply run additional Nash iterations to improve the quality.

sorry if this has already been asked. is there an option for 75% bounty calculations for MTTs like saturday bounty builders on stars including FT ICM? you can link me to a response/instructions if there are any.
