On FTP it loads great every time..but on Stars all of the names are all over the place and everything is always messed up for some reason..not sure the reason behind this? Any way to fix this so when I boot up tables the stats are on the right person?

I've been away for a month, I played cash noproblem then I noticed when I play a tourney. No Hud!! So I install 1.08.04, no Hud!! I install 1.09 Beta 11a and hud but every time it's turn my hud stats move and cover my cards. Useless!! Do, we really need to read 5000 posts to find out what is going on with the updates. Yes, I'm frustrated.

How do i configure Holdem Manager to work with Poker Stars?

The Holdem Manager forums are your best place to find out what is current or ask your questions. There are 3 or 4 of us there that answer questions all day. There is a Quick Questions thread there that I try to answer as soon as I see the email notification. You are always more than welcome to start a new thread about any problems you may be having. It is much easier to sort out if you have your own thread for the issue. I am the only one that checks this thread, and I try to do it a couple times a day, but I spend the vast majority of the day looking for new threads/posts on the HM forums.

Now, to address your problem.

The new beta works fine for me. I just got done playing a few orbits while looking at someones HUD config they were having issues with.

When it's your turn to act, every ones stats move?? Or just your stats? Or does it only happen when you first sit down at a table? Or after you play your first Big Blind hand? What site?

As I explained to the poster above, when you use the preferred seating option at a poker site, and match that setting in HM, you need to make sure it is setup properly and that you do not move any panels around until after your first hand is played. If your preferred seat on Pokerstars is seat 3 in the bottom right corner, and you open a table with an empty seat in the top left corner, the Pokerstars client will 'spin' the table around to sit you in the proper location. The HUD doesn't realize the table has spun around, until after it imports the first hand with you and your seat number. Then the HUD will set the panels where they belong. If you were busy moving the panels around while waiting for your Big Blind, they will be wrong once HM imports your Big Blind hand and repositions the panels.

If that doesn't explain what is going on in your situation, or you need any sort of help getting it to work properly, please start a new thread on the HM forums. If we can't figure out what's happening from the details in your thread we can always do a remote support session and take a look at things first hand.

Will someone explain how to import a tournament summary on Stars? I assume this is different than the auto-import?

Right-Click on your Desktop > New > Text Document

Open up your new, blank text file.


Copy all the Tournament Summary information from the email they send you.

Click+Hold+Drag to highlight everything in the body of the email, except for the 2 lines here in red. You want to start at the 'Pokerstars Tournament #..." and end at the You finished in X place". I just did this for my last (all) 146 tournaments. It was quite a job to copy that many from my email without my browser crashing.
Now go to the new Text file that you made, which should have opened in Notepad. Edit > Paste the Tournament Summary information into the text file, Save it, and Close it. Now you can either copy the text file and place it in your Pokerstars Hand History Folder so it gets imported during an auto import, or use the Import File(s) button and navigate to your desktop to select the text file you made.

Sorry, it is not possible. Pokerstars does not permit their transfer system to be used for the purchase of goods and services.

I am getting a lot of errors when importing HH from Pokerstars. I had Stars send me all of my old HH, they sent me links to text files that are simply called "hands", some of these load fine and some of them partially, some not at all.

The HHs in these files are numbered "Hand #1" etc. followed by the HH for each hand. Just wondering why some load and some don't.

Please make sure you have the latest version 1.09 beta 12 to work with Stars. If they are still not importing properly, please start a new thread on the HM Forums. Explain the problem again, and then zip up and email the problem hand history files to support@holdemmanager.net with a link to your new thread on our forums, so the devleoper can look at the hand histories.

Hey I have the Small Stakes version of Holdem Manager and for some reason my HUD stats on other players don't show up when I play on FullTilt. The Table Manager window doesn't go to my system tray (for some reason these features aren't working). Can anyone tell me how to enable my HUD stats on other players? I'm playing SitNGos. Thanks.

I just purchased the HEM last night and still haven't received my serial number...this is a bit bizarre in this day and age when your credit card can usually be charged instantaneously and your SN issued at the same time and you can be up and running in minutes...anyone knows how long will this 'manual' process take?

I wondered if anyone knew how I could get my mucked cards to look nicer. I've tried upgrading my graphics card driver, tried switching off cleartype but neither worked. Any ideas?

It's a scaling issue in the HUD I believe, that occurs when the tables are smaller than the default size. It was gone for a while (sometime between 1.08.04 and now) and seems to have shown up again recently. I will forward your post to Mike to make sure he is aware.

really quick noob question, I can't get the filters to behave the way I want. I want to filter for hands where there was a limp and a raise in front of me. but filtering for [x] 1 limper and [x] 1 raiser just gives hands where there was a limper, and hands where there was a raise, but not both. what am I missing?

Update to Beta 12 (I think from Beta 9) ruined my Party HUD-layout. Any way to fix that? Its a lot of work...

Request: In the date filter selection popup, set the default before and after dates to midnight. Everytime I try and see my results since a certain day, it defaults to the current time of day. For instance, if I want to see my results since June 15th, I have to change the time to 23:59:59. Then, next time I do it, it's defaults back to the current time. (I realize I could ask for the last 18 days or whatever, but that's not convenient.)

ok, i messed up my hud popup stats configuration. How can I reset back to default?

Not typically. If you have't gotten anything after a few hours feel free to send an email.

What exactly happened to your hud? Did you lose everything? Did it delete your custom configs or scramble them up?

If you don't have a copy of your \Config folder from before the update, or you have never exported your custom HUD config's to XML, than you may be forced to do it manually. If you have an exported XML file from your HUD config, you should be able to delete the one that is messed up, and import the XML file. There are a lot of good HUD configs on the HM forum if you wanted to try and find one that someone posted to download and import.

I keep daily backup/sync copies of my entire HM folder so if I ever have a crash or need to reinstall HM for any reason, I can just copy my backup config folder into my new installation, and be right back to where I was.

All stat positions changed, some were placed outside of the window. At Full Tilt everything is fine..

IMO HM-Update should backup config files if it wants to overwrite them.
