Thats weird maybe you pressed it twice and didnt realise, have you checked the calcs to see if there is any multiway pots that are incorrect. If the problem persists try updating to 1.08.04 http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/HmUpdate.exe and try again and failing that export the hands and create a new database and reimport them

whats the deal with equity calculations in all-in pots: where hero has finished acting, (all-in) but villians carry on in the hand.

really fug's things up for a short stacker

So I'll preface this by saying I'm a huge computer noob and that I've already tried to install HEM and postgresql on my computer which is running Vista a couple of times before I got 1.07 up and running, mostly.

Everything seems to work ok on 1.07 except I would get an error message about something remotely closing an already existing connection for Holdem Manager, but now that I've updated to 1.08.04, I cannot seem to import hands at all. I've tried using the auto import folders, resetting the locations, importing individual HHs... nothing is working.

Any suggestions on how to fix either of these problems? I'd be happy to provide more details if needed. Thanks guys.

Just bought holdem manager, set up player preferences etc, but when i start up pokerstars and join a table, the stats dont come up. what do i do to get them to come up?

The '[ ] Run this program as administrator' tab is light gray and I cannot click on it when I try to do this. This seems to be the problem, but I have no idea how to fix it.

It probably means you tunred off UAC (like you were supposed to). I believe once UAC is turned off everything 'runs as admin' so that box is unnecessary. I might be wrong, as I own a XP machine, but that is my recollection.

The thing with that FAQ is you need to follow it 100%, if you just disable the firewalls/antiviurses etc instead of completely uninstalling them it simply wont work so do all the steps exactly and it should solve it

i know it dont work on mac osx but has anyone used this, specifically the omaha version using crossover on mac osx? it sux the way there is no trackers for omaha on the mac. copilot is decent but i dont play nlhm that much.

6) Uninstall PostgreSQL
First go to the Control Panel and switch to classic view, then click on Administrative Tools > Services:

Scroll down until you see PostgreSQL and it will show you the version of PostgreSQL either 8.2 or 8.3. Take note of this as well need to know this later when were reinstalling because installing the same version is less problematic.

I'm having problems with HEM recently. Used it friday morning. No problem. Went away that afternoon, got back last night and tried to start it up, and first of all when I try to start up HEM. I get

"An error occurred when retrieving the player list: Error: XX001: invalid page header in block 140 of relation "players"

Then when importing it doesn't work. Restarted, uninstalled and reinstalled HEM. Must be a problem with the database. Not really sure what to do. any suggestions?

lol, fwiw I went into My Computer and re created a HEM shortcut on the desktop, which worked fine upon trying to open. So apparently the icon which I've used in the past to open the software no longer works. weird.

If anyone remembers, I am having problems with my HUD when trying to cascade tables on Stars on my new computer.

I deleted HEM from computer, deleted all my hands and databases and installed HEM and Post. from scratch.

I also followed all advice in thread with regards to upgrading video card software etc etc

So I reinstall HEM, brand new database, less than 50 hands in it, try to play 2 tables cascade, and I have the same problem!!!!






I am 100% out of ideas now as I tried everything as suggested. My computer is brand new and HEM HUD works fine on my other computer which is 6 years old and this one I can't play 2 tables!!!!!!!!!



Anything else I could try not mentioned above?

is it possible to change the popups to display only the frequency instead of "count (frequncy)" (i.e. "3bet preflop - 20%" instead of "3bet preflop - 9 (20%)" )

I don't have any suggestions, but I can offer a little bit of comfort, and maybe a couple things to check. I had the same issue when playing stacked, but I was playing in a 2x2 x 2deep stack and the problem was intermittent (and I wasn't playing many hands anyways). I would occasionally have all of the stat panels from the table beneath the active table showing thru. Mine was a staggered stack and it would make it impossible to read the stats on the active table. I was running stars planner and poker shortcuts. I have a feeling that the HEM HUD wasn't playing nicely with one of those AHKs. I will see if I have any screenshots from when it happened to me. I havent played poker in weeks so it quickly became unimportant to me. My pc is 2.5 yrs old, XP SP3.

What other apps/scripts are you running? Have you tried only playing with your poker client and HEM HUD open, and no other poker scripts/apps?

My suspicion would be stars planner or stars assistant. I will try and play a couple short sessions, with various software/script combinations, the next day or 2 and try to duplicate the problem as I recall it.
