I'll add one more site this week - let's do this the democratic way. List grabbed from pokersitescout and slightly modified - if the winning sites HH's are a pain then I reserve the right to go down the list
Much as I would like to see cakepoker supported there is a problem in that they do not put a date and time in there HHs.

You could add this to there HHs quite easily, which would be a killer as no one else supports them.
I can send you some HHs if you like

I know he said the HUD will be released later, but anyone remember when? This week? 2 weeks? A month? Any other HUD compatible with it for the time being?

sputnik thats the same problem with PKR hhs, but the date and time are shown in the folder names fairly easily.

Haven't said when yet but I'll be providing a very basic HUD "soon" while I work on the real deal.

Sorry for not adding it, just went by PokerSiteScout - write in votes please

I sent you hand histories for xyz site. did you get it and have you looked at them?
Got them saved them and will be using them. Haven't really looked at any of them yet besides opening them to see if they look reasonable.

also heres the error i get when i opened the database from the admin thing.
hmmm... did you do anything weird during install of postgresql like put it on a different computer or install it under a different XP/Vista username?

Can you add custom folders to the autoimport so that, for instance, while playing on Party you can import played hands from the normal PP folder and observed hands from elsewhere?
Yes - I don't like the way I've done auto import so it will be changing.

Shouldn't be too much of a problem as long as you only import from the folder that the hand is saved to.

nope nothing wierd when installing, and as i said everything was fine first firing it up, imported fine and then i closed it down.

the only thing i can think of i did was closing the .exes in task manager after i shut it down cause they were still there so i manually closed them all in task manager.

and yeah my vote is for pkr/prima

I'm pretty sure that would cause the problem - I vaguely remember doign the same thing and having the same problem. If a reboot doesn't fix it then go into Control Panel - Administrative Options - Services and start the PostgreSQL service and hopefully you'll be up an running.

There are normally 4 instances running.

If you start PT or HM there will be more.

After closing the app, if there are more, or any still using a lot of memory, best thing is restart Postgresql Database server in services.msc
Or reboot.

Don't make a habit of closing things in TaskManager

30k PP hands imported at 24 hands/sec.
Still playing with it - looks brilliant.

I would really like to see:

- multiple DBs. I datamine 24/7 and I like keeping those hands separate, mostly for speed purposes, but also to be able to trim it without whacking my own hands.

- simple DB maintenance tasks. DB names, defrag (necessary?), vacuum/analyze

Wowowowowow just downloaded it and it is amazing.

Simple suggestion, don't know if this has already been said, but green for positive money values (wins) and red for negatives (losses) helps heaps to give an overview when scanning a table. I'm sure this wouldn't be too hard to introduce.

Otherwise this leaves PT at its current state for dead. Can't wait for the HUD gogogogogogo

I can't import any hands. I have tried only Party HH's. I have tried various locations to import from. I have tried the HH's saved by Party, saved by FPHG and those exported by PT.

HM recognizes the files but does not import any hands. 0 Hands imported.

Completed(0 imported,0 duplicates,0 errors)

I'm probably doing something daft.

I have ~1 million Full Tilt hands. It says it is going to take 24hours to import them all. Is there anything I can do to make it faster?

A bunch of people have the same 0 import problem. I'll be posting a test app in the next hour or so that should hopefully help me figure out what the deal is with this.

Thanks,

Roy

Getting a bunch of requests for this - I need to figure out the implications of allowing this so I'll need to get back to you.

Coming! All stats can be color coded based on ranges

Well technically PostgreSQL only works in NTFS and there is a work around for it to work in FAT32 although I've never tried it. Holdem Manager itself works fine on FAT32 if you can take care of PostgreSQL.

Not really - that's relatively slow at about 11 hands per second. Are most of those tourney or full ring? Full Ring imports slower than 6 max and tourneys imports quit a bit slower than cash but for a very good reason which will become evident when you use the HUD (when it is ready ).

Anyone who has this "0 hands imported no matter what I try" problem please download this:

http://www.rvgsoftware.com/hm/ImportTesting.zip

and try importing one of your hand history files into the program and let me know what happens. Hopefully this will get me a bit closer to a solution and you guys can get up an running tonight.

I created an alias and attached my screen names from PS and FT to it. When I run a report it shows that I have played 75 hands at 10/20lim, 5700 hands at 6/12lim and 6700 hands at 4/8lim. I have never played these limits. Not sure from which site it is pulling these hands.
