My trial for Omaha in HM3 has ended. If I decide to play omaha without trial but have HM3, Hand Grabber loaded etc.....and then lets say I do decide to buy omaha HM3 a month later, would I have my hands recorded in HM3 that I played after the trial but before I paid for omaha HM3?

Yes. All hands you play at supported sites/games get auto imported to the database and archived, the license simply determines which of those played hands you can see in the Reports and HUD data.

Looks like I canceled or didn't tick box for auto Maintenance renewal at the start. Was thinking will pay for it when it is time to pay. To even see if I am interested to extend.



Today at middle of grind, HUD just turned off, great. And this pop-up showed up. Very nice. Was thinking I could use current version of HM3 even if I do not have ticked auto payment for annual Maintenance fee.

Clicked "Reinstall Old Version"

Got downgraded to 4 month old 3.1.16.0 version, even though my "license" finished couple days ago. And I have not updated HM3 since 29th July.



Probably something in the Terms and Conditions that you can use only latest "Stable" version. Well played HM3, well played.

Cherry on the cake, was looking for 15 minutes in your website where I can pay my 40$ to continue use latest HM3 version but couldn't find any. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with the software and I apologize for the delay in reply.

You should have hopefully received a reply now as management asked the NC developer and one of our part time testers to get all the NC tickets caught up last week.

We use the latest stable version for the 'max version' allowed if your Support & Maintenance (S/M) plan expired. We generally do not go this long between stable releases but unfortunately we kept getting reports of unexpected blocker bugs in each beta released after 3.1.16.0. Our current beta 3.1.16.7292 finally addresses all those issues I believe/hope so we should be able to make that build into our next stable 3.1.17.0 release soon as long as we don't see any major issues reported by customers that are using that beta.

p.s. Edit: I asked our QA/Testing Manager to talk to management about the possibility of using beta releases to limit the 'max version' if possible.

Sorry for rant yesterday, was quite frustrated when middle of deepruns HM3 just decided to work on 1 table haha.

Seems more logical to allow using latest whatever version there is until which one user has paid.

Support (Vlad) answered me to ticket: Please open HM3 menu item Help - My licenses. There should be a button.

What is your 6 digit support ticket number? Here is a direct link to your My Tickets page. If you can post the ticket number here or reply to the ticket with a link to my post here we can update your account max version to the latest beta 3.1.16.7292.

Did you edit that image to remove your email address for posting in the forums? Can you please send an unedited screenshot of the My Licenses menu in your support ticket please for us to review against your account information.

It is completely gone from the HUD - HUD Editor - 'Profile:' drop-down list? I am not sure what would cause that. If you have a backup/exported copy of it you should be able to import it again.

Hello Fozzy, thanks for replies, yes I removed my e-mail before posting screenshot here but now there appeared button "Renew Subscription" under my profile - subscriptions - inactive. Before it wasn't there. Will buy immediately.

Yeah everything was gone. Luckily I reinstalled Windows 4 months ago so had saved my HUD profile and imported it back just now, but it is with 3 panels and all panel positions on table also has gone, have to move them around again for all the sites I play at.

At HUD Editor my Custom HUD was completely gone. Only place I could find my Custom HUD mentioned was in: HUD Options: Profile Select - Tournaments and it was in Tournament - Active Profile Definitions but on tables it did not appear as everywhere else it was gone.

That is good to hear. I am not sure what would have caused it but at least it eventually resolved itself.

Unfortunately exported HUD profiles do not contain the custom saved positions of the panels in the profile.

That is odd. I am guessing that the C:\Users\fozzy\AppData\Roaming\Max Value Software\Holdem Manager\3.0\Hud\Data\HudProfiles.hm3 somehow got damaged and removed it from the HUD Editor > Profile list, while the \Layouts.hm3 did not get damaged which is why you could still see it in the HUD Options > Profile Select list.

Can't make the HM2 hud running at swisscasinos poker . Playtech ipokernetwork.
Before never had a Hud Problem at Ipoker.

Import works..... just that god damn hud. Had to run HandtoNote for HUD and HM for analysis.

If you do not have the latest beta version 3.1.16.7292 installed yet please update as instructed below:

- Close your poker clients, close HM3 and right-click - 'Exit' the HM3 Server icon in the Windows Notification Tray.
- Please update to our latest beta version of HM3 from this link.
- Restart HM3 and make sure HM3 and the HM3 Server (Auto Import/HUD) is fully started.
- Launch your poker client(s).

Also make sure the HM3 - HUD - [x] 'Standard HUD' is enabled as I don't think the Graphical HUD is supported there yet.

If none of that helps: Please see our HUD Troubleshooting FAQ and if that does not help then please send the requested logs, screenshots, and hand history files in a support ticket as instructed at the bottom of that FAQ with a link to this forum thread and your forum username.

So now you have to pay almost $100 yearly to get HM3 updates ? It's been a few months since last time I've used HM3 and today after my software was updated had to rollback to the older version cause it entered trial mode.

If i knew HM3 was going to be so expensive i wouldn't have bought neither Omaha or Holdem licenses...

HM3 was working fine this morning. Then I noticed a HM3 update hours later and updated to latest version. And now HM3 won't start at all.....Even after I exited server, closed HM3 with task manager, etc. And even after restarting my PC and making sure my PC is up to date. I am on Windows 10. Regardless of any of the things I tried above, HM3 will no longer start after updating HM3 and I keep getting message: "HM3 could not start due to missing or corrupt files: cefsharp-v6.zip
Please reinstall the software. If the issue remains contact HM support."

What do I do now? How do I make sure I don't lose my database? If needed, how do I correctly reinstall HM3? If that doesn't work how do I go back to the previous version of HM3?

I use hm3 and play on 500, 1k and 2k nl
When i click "overall" i only see my hands from 500. When i talk to my coach, i mark my hands and want to "replay all" from overall but i have to change manually to my 1k and 2k hands

Not sure if this matter but I always use a standard windows account (instead of admin) but right click and run as admin for HM3 for security reasons. Usually works fine.

It has been this way since HM3 was released in October of 2019 and there is a message about it in the cart during the checkout process. The HM3 Support & Maintenance (S/M) plan costs $65 per year for a HM3/OM3 Combo All Stakes license and less for lower versions of the HM3 license. If it expired some months ago then it may cost a bit more (for each day or month since it expired) to bring the S/M plan current. You can still use previous stable versions of HM3 without renewing.

Due to internal reasons this new stable version 3.1.17.0 has taken longer than normal to release. If you want to send us a support ticket from your account email, with a link to this thread and your forum user name, I can have our management review your account to see when the S/M expired and increase your 'Max Version' from 3.1.16.0 (assuming it expired after 08Apr2021) to whatever beta 3.1.16.XXXX was released prior to your S/M expiration.

If you use an Windows administrator account, or change standard user account to an administrator, are you able to update and launch the software?

You should not have to worry about your database but if you want to make a copy of the database to be sure you can copy the {DatabaseName}.hmdb file from C:\Users\{UserName}\Documents\Holdem Manager 3\Databases to another Drive\Folder to have a backup copy.

If you continue to have problems:

The error you are experiencing is happening because of an issue with the installation on your machine. This is usually caused by a security software or one of the dependencies being corrupt or missing. If you can send us log files, we can try to give you more precise instructions, however the following steps should ensure the integrity of HM3 installation.

Please try do a clean re-install of HM3:

1) Uninstall HM3 and delete the following folder with additional HM3 files - C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Max Value Software\Holdem Manager\Kits. If you can't see it, turn off the windows option that is hiding that directory.
2) Delete C:\Program Files (x86)\Holdem Manager 3\ if it remains after uninstall.
3) Restart your PC
4) Download and install latest beta version of HM3 from this link.

If you continue to have problems please try to make sure you have the latest VC++ and CefSharp dependencies as instructed in the following guide.

If none of that helps: Please create a support ticket via the 'Contact Support' link with a link to this thread and your forum username. Please reproduce the problem and attach a set of log files and a screenshot and detailed description of the issue in the support ticket you created.

p.s. The previous stable version 3.1.16.0 can be downloaded from this link. The previous beta version 3.1.16.7292 can be downloaded from this link but that is technically the exact same as our new 3.1.17.0 with only the version number being changed from beta to stable.

Did you make sure to click the 'X' in the upper right corner to clear all filters? Can you see them all in the Cash Results By Stakes report?

If you continue to have problems:

a) Please reproduce and screenshot the error then collect, zip and attach your \Desktop\HM3logs files, along with the screenshots and details of what steps preceded the error to a support ticket - https://support.holdemmanager.com/su...les-to-support

b) Please send us the actual database for testing.
- Please 'Contact Support' with a link to this thread and your forum username.
- Please create a HM3 backup via the Tools - Backup Database menu.
- Make sure you also include screenshots of your reports/filters and a detailed description by tournament number, session, hole cards, filter, stat, etc. of some of the errors we need to test.
- When sending any files please zip them (select all files with CTRL+A > right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email.
- If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site wetransfer or filedropper and copy/paste the download link directly into the support ticket email.

I do use Bitdefender as antivirus, but havent had issues related to HM3 in months in regards to Bitdefender. Anyways I did change to admin and HM3 worked fine, started up fine without me having to update anything, it said it was the latest stable version. However, I changed back to standard windows acct, restarted PC, and HM3 wont start up at all, same error message as mentioned before. I really want to keep standard acct for security reasons. That's all I've done so far from your recommendations, havent gone thru your other suggestions yet but will likely have to.

I am not sure how/why it used to work for you on a Standard Windows User Account (even with the 'run as admin' step) because as far as I know HM3 has always needed the Windows User to be an Administrator.

Yes I did everything you asked for above...I chose the previous stable version 3.1.16.0, for some reason it gave me 3.1.17.0 instead. Ooops, I wasn't thinking properly when I posted those links. If you need the previous stable version 3.1.16.0 for any reason here is the proper link for version 3.1.16.0. Please note that version 3.1.16.0 was released back on 08Apr2021 and it took us a lot of beta versions since then until we could release 3.1.17.0 (as evidenced by the huge list of release notes) so rolling back to 3.1.16.0 could cause HUD, import, etc errors depending on the site(s) you play.
