Hey HM3 Support,

regarding the Update 3.1.12.0 and the GGPoker Rake detection for omaha:

Do i have to reimport all my played hands into a new database for this to take effect? because as far as i can tell, my graph and net winnings, etc.. are exactly the same as before updating.

Is Range Wizard in HM3 useful if you just play on Ignition? Also is it possible to do population tendencies study (group all villains as one alias so you can study how the population plays) within HM3 for Ignition players and how do I do that? Is it resource intensive?

Yes, you need to reimport the hands.

Please update to our latest beta version of HM3 from this link with all the latest updates for GG Rake and other things - https://www.holdemmanager.com/downlo...3&channel=beta

Toggle on the HM3 - Tools - Settings - Import - [x] 'Allow reimport of hand histories' then import the files again using the HM3 - File - Import Folder/Files options. See the linked images below:

If you continue to have problems please zip and email the problem original hand histories and tournament summaries to us as instructed. Make sure you also include screenshots of your reports/filters and a detailed description by tournament number, session, hole cards, filter, stat, etc. of some of the errors we need to test.

From what I understand it is not as useful as it would be at most other sites as every opponent at Ignition gets a unique/anonymous player ID every time you face that same player so you never get large samples on villains there.

I am not sure if that is possible as I haven't really used the app myself and I don't provide support for any of our apps (just HM3 itself). If you have further questions about if this is possible please open the HM3 - Apps - Range Wizard - 'Show Range Wizard' and then click the Help - 'Feedback' option and send the questions directly to the Range Wizard developer.

You can sign up for the Free version of Range Wizard under Help - My Licenses... - HM Apps if you are on an older build of HM3, or signup directly from the HM3 - Apps menu if you installed the beta we just released in the past 24 hours, to see what all is possible.

We have a video and some FAQ links to learn more about it here.

No, not at all from what I can see in my little bit of testing I just did. I just ran a Winners vs Losers RW report on a 450k hand alias (2.5 GB HM3 database) and Range Wizard was only using an additionl 300 MB of RAM above and beyond the 2.0 GB of RAM HM3 and the HM3 server, etc used.

HM2 HUD stopped working after PokerStars forced Aurora change for me today.

Hand imports still work and manually table finder select works for regular table's HUD. But it doesn't for zoom tables, it doesn't update the HUD every hand.

Table seat settings are all synced and auto import working. Any advice?

Hi, been using HM3 trial for about a week, got about a week left......its very glitchy......the window that asks if I want to email the error to you comes up at least 10x a session (500 hands)......also that window pops up in the beginning stating something is running and gives me the option to turn it off......but I can't find where to turn this off in settings......(this window comes up when i first boot up.) Is Trial version just super glitchy? is this how I can expect HM3 to run once I purchase it?

No, that is not expected behavior for the trial or licensed version.

Please create a support ticket via the 'Contact Support' link with a link to this thread and your forum username. Please reproduce the problem and attach a set of log files and a screenshot and detailed description of the issue in the support ticket you created.

What version of HM2 are you both using? If you are not on 2.0.0.8699 yet please update:

- After downloading, you should right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock.*
* If you do not see an 'unblock' option you can ignore this step.
- Then, right click the file and run as administrator.

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and send your HM2Logs folder in a support ticket with screenshots and a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing, with a link to this thread and your forum name.

Note: I found these steps in a recent thread about StarsHelper not working with Aurora that you can try if you have the same problems with 2.0.0.8699:

A couple days ago, one of my tables disconnected on Ignition and reconnected me. Immediately afterwards, my HUD for all the tables stopped working and disappeared and wouldn't reappear even if I clicked show hud on all tables. However all the hands are still being recorded correctly within HM3 for post session review even with no hud appearing. This has been an ongoing problem for me for last 2 months with no solution. Not sure what I can do. Also if i get moved to another table, the hud for that table stops working but hands are recorded correctly in HM3

Hey Fozzy, I didn't create a ticket.....it was more of a general question....also when playing tourneys when im moved to a new table the hud settings go back to hm3 tourney instead of staying in the hud I selected...every time. does HM3 work the same on all sites or does it act differently on diff sites......im only playing on ACR.....I'll buy hm3 for the hud alone, its totally worth it, but it is annoying that it behaves this way......hopefully itll change after purchase.

Both of these issues are documented for the developers:

- IGN-220: No Hud after Ignition disconnection
- IGN-212: No Hud after table moves before playing


I am checking with the Ignition Hand Grabber (IHG) team to see if they know if/when these issues might be addressed but I do not currently have an estimate for when these issues will be resolved. We do not give estimates until it has been confirmed as implemented/resolved by our testers and the release is imminent.

If you (1) left-click the Table 'HUD' panel you can (2) choose the HUD you want to use then (3) open the menu again as shown in the attached image to set it as the default profile for that table type:



You will need to do the same for each site/game you play.

These HUD settings are saved and can be managed/created in the HUD - HUD Options: 'Profile Select' menu. Here is an example of how I have mine setup for cash and tournament testing:

I have updated my hem2 to 3. I moved the database to hem3.

When i turn on my hud, it only show hands i have gained while playing on hem3. How do i update the hud to show stats from hem2 hands too?

What do you mean exactly by 'mass select players into databases'? Are you talking about building an alias of opponents for population study? If that is what you are asking, the answer is 'No' unfortunately.

The only way currently to study population stats is to create an alias for those players then set that that alias to be the active player in the reports for analysis, but please be aware that it can be very resource intensive to link all villains to an alias so you should have a powerful computer with lots of ram if attempting this. If you want to create an alias with a lot of villains you can do it via the NoteCaddy Premium Aliases feature that creates an alias based on a color definition.

This technique can also cause erroneous results in the reports if some of the villain's you aliased together have played hands against each other. An alias is designed to join 2 or more hero screen names that would not have played against each other so while this is possible to do it is not something we officially support or recommend.

We will also be releasing a new HM3 App soon that will make population study much easier which you can read more about here.

We also have a feature request for removing the hero from the Opponents List view, and a request to make building aliases easier.
- HMT-3875 Opponents List: Add option to filter out heroes from list
- HMT-5193 Add ability to multi select/add multiple players to an alias at once


These feature requests have been documented in detail and provided to the developers for future consideration. You are referring to opponent's HUD stats at live tables? They should show if you are using the default HUD Options - Filters.

Did you edit any of the HUD - HUD Options - 'Filters'? Those settings can drastically change what the HUD shows at the table. Do your HUD Options - Filters appear the same as the default ones in the linked image here? If not, change them so they do.



If that doesn't fix the issues, please reproduce the problem and attach a screenshot showing the HUD, the Cash Results By Stakes Report (or Tournaments by Buyin report if you don't play cash games) for one of the selected players with the problems, and pictures of the HUD Options Filters and attach your \HM3logs files to a support ticket as explained in this FAQ.

Can you elaborate on how the rake is attributed regarding the change in rake structure on GGnetwork from 3% uncapped to 5% capped? Is HM3 attributing the correct rake structure based on the date of the hand played? Or is it using 5% capped for all hands in the database?

It is calculated according to the date the hands were played.

We also just wrote up a new developer task to update the rake schedule for the new smaller/micro stakes games they recently added:

IMP-169: Add smaller stakes to GG Poker rake schedule (Oct 2020)

lets say i had 10k hands on 1 player using hem2.

I upgraded to hem3 and the hud showed 0 hands on said player.

I have the hands available in my opponent info. I have not touched any filters.

Yes, you can delete the logs in the \3.0\Logs\Archive folder which I assume is where most of that space is being taken up because of this issue we just discovered this week:

HMT-5848: Settings - Feature Logging: 'Max. No of Log Files = X' not working

Until that issue is resolved you will want to periodically delete those old logs.

That folder is for HM2, not HM3. Do you have NoteCaddy for HM2? Most of the space in that folder is likely being taken up by all the \backup_YYYY-MM-DD folders which you can safely delete even if you are using NC for HM2. If you are not using NC for HM2 then you can disable it if you open HUD Settings, make sure you are on the HUD Designer tab, and uncheck "Show Caddy notes in HUD." then restart HM2. Once it is disabled you can delete the actual \NoteCaddyDefinitions folder as well.

some tips / advice for slow / not loading hud at at sometimes?

Despite my hw isnt problem (ssd, 16gb ram etc.) and hem2 works perfectly, hem3 is just a disaster.

Hem3 shows hud, it's okay, sometimes even hud doesnt show up tho, when i click popup, stats doesnt load at all (often)

but as i said, i ve zero problems w hem2, but hem3 is totaly useless for now.

In game it doesnt load , in replayer it takes really long.

I've just clicked hud popup in the replayer hem3, it took +- 18 seconds to stats to show up.

Ideas?
