I forgot that we do have one other open developer ticket unrelated to the midnight bug that could also be related:

HMT-5411: HM3 resets hero stats in the middle of the session.

This issue has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve. If you want to be notified when it is fixed please send an email via the 'Contact Support' link and include "Notify Me When HMT-5411 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

If it happens again in the future:

a) Please reproduce the problem and:
- Take a screenshot of the table/desktop before and after the problems
- Try to include the Live Play tab, your poker client lobby and a browser page of this site - https://time.is/ - visible in the screen shot.

b) Click the 'Send Feedback' button from the left sidebar menu, or from the 'Help' menu at the top, and send your logs and config files with a detailed description of the problem.
- Send the screenshots in the same/new support ticket the Send Feedback system generated for this issue.
- Attach a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue.*
- Here is a direct link to your My Tickets page - https://support.holdemmanager.com/user/mytickets/

With all the above information we should be able to narrow down what is causing the issue. If all the information is not included we will need to email you again to request it.

*All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM3Archive is in C:\HM3Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Network\Month\DayOfMonth (example: C:\HM3Archive\SiteName\HM3Archive\2016\07\31). It is configured in the Tools - Settings - Import menu.

HM3 does support them but HM2 will not. All development of new features, tools and game type support will be focused on HM3. We will continue to support HM2 for bug fixes and parser updates until an end of life (“EOL”) date for HM2. We have not yet determined an EOL date for HM2; however, it will remain supported until at least October 15, 2020.

I have had a HM2 license+Notecaddy (All stakes NLH+Omaha) for years in which I did not play cause of restrictions. I got back to playing poker on GGnetwork and I can not even import hands. What are my options here? Do I get any special price for an upgrade to HM3?

Also, since GGnetwork does not support any use of huds, does the stats still show for players when I analyze hands outside of the session?

GGPoker does not allow HUDs on their site but they allow you to download anonymous hand history files post session to manual import into trackers that support the hands. HM2 does not support manual import downloaded hands from GGPoker network but HM3 does. If you upgrade to HM2 you can download the hands from their poker client after the sessions and manually import them to review your play and the villains but the hand history files (hero and villains) are written as anonymous hands so you can't track opponents stats by name.

By purchasing HM2 you can upgrade to HM3 with a 25% discount before October 15th 2020.

To use the discount please login to your HM account on our website and add the available discounted upgrade option to the cart and complete the purchase. You can see our upgrade policy FAQ here. And our HM3 Annual Support & Maintenance policy FAQ here.

Important: The Annual Support & Maintenance is FREE for the first year with the purchase or upgrade.

Hi,
Seems like I don't have any purchase history on that account? I have the license number, but have no clue how to add a discount?
Oh, so the discount is only for the NLH+Omaha for all stakes? so it costs 120$ instead of 160$? any option to downgrade to NLH only?

The automated discount only applies to the same type of license comparable to your HM2 license. If you want to downgrade (or for someone with say a small stakes license wanting pro/all stakes now) our sales/management team have to do that manually by issuing you store credit to use during checkout on the website. The store credits can only be used by upgrading in a browser, not by upgrading via the HM3 software's 'My Licenses' app.

This is not something we can help with on the forums for security reasons. Please login to your account on our site and email (choose the product then click the 'Contact Support' tile) your questions to to our sales team via the 'Contact Support' link.

What are the main differences between hem2 and hem3? As an American player playing on US popular sites (bovada / acr / BOL) what can hem3 do different for those sites as opposed to hem2.

Here is a FAQ of some key new features. That FAQ was written when we launched the beta testing back in early 2016. HM3 will also have a more stats than HM3 had for the HUD, with more stats being added as we have time, and unlike HM2 any stat you can add to a HUD can also be added to the reports (assuming it has a purpose in the reports).

In regards to those 3 sites you mention:

1) Ignition: We have our own Ignition Hand Grabber (IHG) app that is currently in free beta testing. Once released it will have an additional fee above and beyond the HM3 license and the optional annual HM3 Support & Maintenance contract fee.
- Configuring Ignition Poker To Work With Holdem Manager 3
- Ignition Hand Grabber Guide
- Note: HM3 Apps can only be used if you own a HM3 license. They can not be used if HM3 is in Trial or Free mode. This is a security restriction of our licensing system. The only way you can try that App would be to buy HM3 and use our 15 day no questions asked refund period as 'Trial' time for testing the app.

2) ACR/WPN: HM3 will support the new Bomb Pots and HUD on the Blitz tables.

3) I can't think of any differences at this time for BOL/Chico. HM3 will still require the 3rd party card catcher from Advanced Poker Tools to use HM3 on that network.

By purchasing HM2 you can upgrade to HM3 with a 25% discount before October 15th 2020. To use the discount please login to your HM account on our website and add the available discounted upgrade option to the cart and complete the purchase. You can see our upgrade policy FAQ here. Hey!

I was wondering, is there a way to get HM3 to work for the venom cyclones 3max tables on ACR? I have been trying and sometimes it works for the first 3 or 4 hands and then it just stops working.

Its weird because it is the same format as Jackpot Poker, but instead it is a blitz format.

Would love to hear there is a fix for this. Thanks

We have an old HM2 developer ticket written up for no HUD on 'The Venom Steps' but our tester at that time (~1 yr ago) said both HM2 and HM3 were working for him on those games. I will ask our QA/Testing guys to take a look and do some testing but if the HUD is not working for you then we will need you to reproduce the problem and send us some screenshots, logs and hands from a session as explained at the end of this FAQ. We can use those to write up a ticket for the developers, or add them to a ticket if one of our testers writes up the issue before you send us your logs/files.

I assume that was ticket #526690? Here is a direct link to your My Tickets page.

The logs were too large to attach to our Send Feedback system once compressed. Can you manually copy them to your \Desktop\HM3logs\ folder then zip them, upload them to a file hosting site, and paste the download link into the ticket please? Please also send the hand history files and screenshots if you took them during that session. If you did not take any screenshots then you will need to reproduce the issue again and collect those screenshots and send them with a new set of log files.

Please reproduce the problem and:

a) Take a screenshot of the table/desktop before and after the problems
- Try to include the Live Play tab, Tools - Import details - Live Play and Errors, your poker client lobby and a browser page of this site - https://time.is/ - visible in the screen shot.
- Close HM3 and the Holdem Manager Server icon in the system tray. *
- If it is not running or fully launched please open your Windows Task Manager and right-click - End Task on 'Holdem Manager 3', *'HM3 HUD' and 'HoldemManager.Server' if you see them. *
- Attach a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue*

b)*Click Start - All Apps - Holdem Manager 3 - 'Copy HM3 Log Files to Desktop'

c) Then zip and attach** all (Ctrl+A - Right-Click - Send to - Compressed (zipped) folder) files in that folder to this same support ticket
with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you are having. *Here is a direct link to your My Tickets page - https://support.holdemmanager.com/user/mytickets/
*
* All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM3Archive is in C:\HM3Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Network\Month\DayOfMonth (example: C:\HM3Archive\SiteName\HM3Archive\2016\07\31).* It is configured in the Tools - Settings - Import menu.

**If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like or dropbox, then right-click - 'copy dropbox link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket email. *If you have any problems with dropbox please try using google drive or filedropper.com instead.

Hi,

Can you please let me know the status of this ticket?

HMT-1428: Replayer HUD - Add an option switch between lifetime and session stats for hero (Missing HM2 Feature)

It's important tool to be able to see lifetime hud stats for hero in the replayer, so we can analyze our own stats as we would our opponents.

Thanks,

Michael

I do not have an estimate for when this issue will be resolved. We do not give estimates until it has been confirmed as implemented/resolved by our testers and the release is imminent.

For now all I can suggest is that you create a custom version of the Overall report with just your HUD stats and save it to review your lifetime data, or...

There is a method to enable it manually but it can cause performance issues as mentioned, and it will also cause the live hero HUD to behave the same way which would mean losing the ability to see your table image/stats at each table which you may not like (and it could also cause performance issues when playing live). If you want the instructions on how to do this, I posted them on our forums.

Thank you for the quick reply, would you anticipate the manual method creating performance issues if my show hero hud stats is normally disabled? I just use the lifetime stats when reviewing in the replayer.

Thanks

I haven't done any sort of detailed in-depth testing with that option enabled at all, with or without that option/setting, or with or without hero stats/HUD enabled/displayed on live tables. All I can suggest is that you give it a try and if you have any issues after making the config edit then simply delete the config edit (or set that key value = 'False') to see if the problems go away.

One other user in this thread reported the occasional replayer crash after enabling that config edit but IIRC it was typically when replaying lots of hands at the same time and moving through them quickly. I do not recall if he had live play issues, and forget the the user's forum name, but I will spend a few minutes searching the thread to see if I can find his feedback and if I can re-quote this exchange between us and add his feedback in a quote as well.

The only issues I have had is the following:

1) Sometimes during a session it wont show my stats at all, which does not matter anyway since its same as in replayer.

2) Replayer sometimes does not show HUD if i go through hands quickly. For example, if I have 20 hands loaded to review, and I go from hand #4 to hand #10 by pressing next to fast, the HUD crashes and does not work. I then have to exit the replayer, and select hands again to get it to work.

Besides this, I have not had much issue the past couple of weeks with being able to see my own stats.

Hope this helps

No, that is not possible. I opened up your post in a new tab and will check with our HM3 QA/Testing Manager tomorrow to see if he thinks we might be able to add an option of some type to make it stay visible always.

HM3

-VPIP or so change colour based on tightness and I don't find how it can be prevented.

-How the HM3 HUD deals with the changing number of players at the table? HM2, one could make it as one wants and I didn't find that option in HM3. Is HM3 on average a reduced feature version compared to HM2? Is PT4 as so better and rates to be the last "version" of PT, like HM3 and Win10?

-Multiway all-in pots are not EV calculated (when e.g. one player went all in earlier and two on the flop). It is not calculated by HM3 for the last all-in players who went all-in on the flop or turn and so the all-in EV stat isn't accurate. The earlier all-in can't be calculated (when folding is still possible) but the last men going all-in on the flop or turn can be calculated but is not done by HM3 (nor PT4, I suppose). HM2 calculates it (maybe incorrectly for the first man here?).

I played this at Party cash and the HHs seem complete enough to me (or not the ones one can view with HM3 that show only a short version e.g. won't show the hands but that's a different thing, needing one to export the HH on the desktop and then view what the hands are and that HH HM3 uses for the stats and it seems complete to me) and as so the same problem on the other sites.
