In the HUD it is under HUD Settings - HUD Filters - Filter by Limits - [ ] 'Mix Fast and Non-Fast hands together'


In the Reports it is under More Filters - Basic Filters - Game Stakes and Number of Filters - 'Stakes'. Zoom, Fast Forward, Speed, etc are all designated as $xNL 'Fast' stakes.

I haven't played Zoom since Black Friday but my Zoom hands are listed as 'Fast' in the By Stakes report and in the Filters. As far as I know they should still import/filter the same.

Please zip and email a sample of the hand histories for each stake you play, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to us using the 'Contact Support' link.

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31) or if it was auto-imported with 7283+ it would be in \HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\MM\DD. It is configured in the Site Setup - Auto Import Folders menu.

When sending any files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then 'copy public link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket email.

thanks for the help so far

i was 9tabling stars and my cpu was having a hard time
so i checked and hudunfcs app was 13% (which i understand because theres a lot of hudboxes on my screen)
but holdemmanager.exe was at 38%
how can this be so high? i hadnt opened a tab and had it minimized, i dont need it to calculate or edit tabs while im playing so it shouldnt be this high
how is this happening and how can i lower this?

HoldemManager.exe is doing all the parsing for PostgreSQL and probably a number of other things I am not aware of. HM3 has a HUD Only mode where the UI and main HoldemManager3.exe (and related processes won't run and use CPU power but the 2 x HM3 HUD processes and HoldemManager.server (parser) processes will still run.


Was it causing the HUD to lag or do you just think it shouldn't be using that much CPU? If it was causing the HUD to lag please see this FAQ. If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and send your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

I'm so confused that I don't know where to start, or what the core problem is.

I just got a new Dell Windows 10 desktop computer. Before that I had a Dell Windows 8 desktop. When I got the new machine I took both towers to my computer tech and asked him to move everything from the old tower to the new one.

When I got the new computer back I set everything up for poker. As part of that I decided to start fresh with a new HUD with a few more stats. I play on two online sites, Americas Cardroom and Juicy Stakes Poker.

I got the new HUD all set (or at least I thought I had) but everything went wrong. I started a Tournament on Juicy Stakes and only the stats for that tournament showed up. Everyone's "Hands" stat was a single digit-number after playing a few hands. That was a surprise, as I played something like 470 Juicy Stakes MTTs in 2017 alone. My time for tracking stats is one year so I should have from May 2017 to the present.

I optimized and tuned the database and the size was 7873 kB, so the hands for all of those MTTs are out there somewhere.

I started poking around in the program and the upper left corner of the HM2 display shows WPN as my only option, which is interesting because that's not the site that was being tracked during that tournament. I've watched a bunch of videos about how to set up a HUD and I didn't find anything to help me fix this mess.


I don't know if I screwed something up, if it was moving information from one computer to another, something else, or maybe all of those. Any help is appreciated.

You can't just copy files from the old PC to the new PC. You have to backup your database/settings and then restore them after you have installed HM2 on the new machine.

Please see this FAQ to transfer/backup data. This will ensure that you have your hand histories and HUD saved to import into a new computer, and as a backup to restore in case of an emergency. I recommend you do this at least once a month and keep the last 2 or 3 most recent backups (and your \HM2Archive folder) stored on an external drive and/or cloud storage site like dropbox or google drive.


Edit: Note - In HM3 you will actually be able to simply copy then paste the settings/database files manually after you install HM3 to the new machine since it doesn't use postgresql, but it too will have a backup/restore system as it simplifies things instead of telling people where to hunt/peck thru hidden files to copy/paste those files.

Is it possible to set up HUD with low opacity until mouse hover over? I did a quick google search and as recent as 2015 it was not, but I did not see any articles more current than that. Thanks!

It is not (and will not be) possible in HM2 but it is possible in the HM3 Beta.

We do not know when HM3 will be available for public Beta.

We can tell you that all HM2 owners will receive a discount on any upgrade to HM3 and that the highest discounts will be given to those that purchased HM2 just prior to the release of HM3 Alpha.

In addition, those that purchase HM2 during the HM3 Alpha/Beta period will receive a free upgrade to HM3 once it is released. Anyone purchasing HM2 on Friday 28th of October 2016 or after will not have to pay to upgrade to HM3.

I got hands sent to me by pokerstars in an e-mail. How can I import them into my HM2 database? I tried to import them by selecting "import files" under the "hand importing" section, but it didn't work. The import status said there was hundreds of thousands of duplicates, but I can't find any hands anywhere in my db.

If you are importing them to an existing database of hands you have to toggle on the Options - Hand Importing - Manual Hand Import - Import Options [x] 'Force import of previously imported hands' option.


If you continue to have problems try importing one of the files to a new database.

If you do not see older hands in your \HM2Archive locations you will have to search your computer for other locations you may have stored them. We do not have access to your database or original hand history files. If you play a site like stars/ftp/party you can email their support and ask for all your old hand histories and tourney histories/results.


I am not aware of any companies that do database analysis but many coaches do that sort of thing depending on what sort of analysis you are looking for. I can not recommend any coaches personally, you would have to search them out in the coaching forum and do your own research.

I would like to generate a report based on my entire database for a specific scenario, for example : Cold call MP vs EP = "true" , all in = "false", can i have a report with the total times this happen, and a report with all this scenarios described?? * Holdem Manager has this function??

You can only filter for the selected player/alias. If you want to do that for all players you would have to create an alias of all players.


If you want to create an alias with a lot of villains you can do it via PGAdmin as explained here or via the new NoteCaddy Premium Aliases feature that creates an alias based on a color definition but please be aware that it can be very resource intensive to link all villains to an alias so you should have a powerful computer with lots of ram if attempting this. This technique can also cause erroneous results if some of the villain's you aliased together have played hands against each other. An alias is designed to join 2 or more hero screen names that would not have played against each other so while this is possible to do it is not something we officially support or recommend.

If you are using NC you can do the aggregate percentages much more quickly than by making an alias.

Was playing earlier with HEM2 on. Then i noticed after i was done, when i click on HEM2 on my taskbar, nothing shows up. I then restarted computer and turned on HEM2 again. It does turn on but there is nothing show at all. Its on the task bar...


If i left click, nothing shows up. If i right click and click on HEM2, it ask me message do you want to allow this app to make changes to this device. I always have this message whenever i open any program. But why does it do this? Why does my HEM2 not show up at all etc?

So i restarted it again. When i click on HEM2, it does have the started hem2 message loading poker modules words... then you see a small rectangle where it says loading hands for a bit, this usually happens whenever i start up HEM2. But even though its on the taskbar, and you click on it, it doesn't show up at all. How do i fix this issue? The thing was when i was playing, i didn't notice it because the HUD did work.

It sounds like something in your display settings changed and it is running but positioned off the monitor. Please follow this FAQ to fix the problem with windows moving off screen:

If you want to reset the HM2 to default size/position:

- Close HM2 from the Task Manager if it is running but not visible.
- Open your holdemmanager.config file from C:\Users\YourName\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager in a text editor.
- If your Windows is hiding known file extensions the file will simply be called 'holdemmanager'.

- Look for the 'WindowStates' section and delete this line, which should not have any name between the first two quotation marks, in that section:

Key Name="" Value="0|30|400|720|Normal" /

- Save/close the file and restart HM2.

HI there, i tried the cascade and stack. That does not work. Only made my chrome windows show up etc. When i left click HEM2, same issue nothing shows up on screen. The get hidden windows back with keyboard trick, would that work? Because im reading it but not sure how you would do this for hem2... it seem to describe for a web page etc. Since it say make sure you got the off screen window selected as active window... not sure how that applies to hem2.

For the reset it back to default size and position, how do you do the 2nd part of pening the holdemmaanger.config file in a text editor? I use windows 10 but not sure how to do this.
