Hi,

My HM2 is ''lagging'' (poker stars 'freeze' for couple seconds) too much while Im playing. Anything I can do to stop this lagging ? It started once I got a larger database.

How I delete hands from HM2 ? I want delete hands from one or 2 entire month. 100k hands, 200k hands, how I delete this ?

Thanks .

I sent an email about this to our testers inbox. You can report any other issues yourself in the future by creating a support ticket here. Reporting it that way will make sure we have your email address and can link your support ticket to any related bug tickets and notify you when they are resolved.

Please see these search results for 'lagging' on our FAQs.

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and send your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

You can purge hands from the Database Manager, which is launched from the upper left of the Home tab or the bottom right corner of any view by clicking the database name.

I'm able to see my cEV Diff for each tournaments.
I'm able to see the graph of each tournament but I want to see a graph for all my tournaments and or cEv Diff for all my tournaments. Is this possible?or any other ways to track how I'm running

No, this is not possible in HM2 or HM3 at this time like it is with PT4. In HM2/3 you can graph ICM/LAW by tournament (tournament results graph), and cEV by hand (overall report popout/side graph), but you can not graph cEV by tournament. It would require a dual Y Axis on our graphs at a minimum and likely a whole lot more behind the scenes in the code.

It doesn't look like we have written it up yet as a feature request for HM3 but I will set a reminder to discuss it with our QA/Testing Manager tomorrow to see if it is possible/planned.

If i understand what u mean, you can do it by selecting all tournaments. Ctrl+A and clicking in the grap or click on graph in "Overall" report

I assumed he wanted to see a chip ev graph by tournament like PT4 can do on thei r Graphs, instead of by hands like HM2 does on the Overall report popout graph. If he does want to see chip ev graphed by hands then what you suggested will work for HM2.

My apologies if I misunderstood the question.

The various 'One Card' straight draw filters are only for Holdem as you must use 2 of your hole cards in Omaha to make a hand.

So how do you filter for a one card gutter in omaha?

It is not possible from what I can see.

1 card and 2 card refers to how many hole cards are used since it's based on Holdem.

Ax on QJT is 1card gutshot.

AK on JTx is 2 card gutshot.

Our QA Testing Manager and the other testers are going to be investigating to find out which filters are not working for Omaha and see if the developers can get them, or something equivalent but specific to Omaha, working properly for HM3 since it seems we missed the boat on some of these in HM2.

Our QA/Testing Manager is investigating the Party FF HUD issue. We will get it to the devs ASAP so we can get out a beta update for HM2 and HM3 once the fix is confirmed.

So last night, my Windows 10 laptop hard crashed. Tried to recover Windows without success.

I was able to salvage C:\users\myprofile\appdata\roaming\holdemmanager and c:\HMarchive from a cmd prompt. I also saved c:\postgresql, but it didn't look like much was in there.

Is my database recoverable from this?

If not, it's a hard lesson in backing up my data periodically I guess, sigh.

Thanks in advance.

If you have a C:\users\myprofile\appdata\roaming\holdemmanager\d atabase and c:\postgresql\data folder you might be able to, if you reinstall the exact same version of postgresql with the steps below. Otherwise you would have to restore a backup file (if you have one*) or just manually import your original hands from the C:\HM2Archive folder. C:\HMArchive = HM1 so I am not sure if your HM2 hands are in that folder you mentioned.

*This is why regular backups are a good idea. If your database becomes corrupt, or you have hardware problems, you can restore a backup and only have to import the most recent hands (that were played after the backup was created) and edit any tournament results if necessary. I recommend keeping at least the most recent 2 or 3 backups in case the most recent one does not restore properly you can try the previous backup. Here is a FAQ explaining how to backup your database and all settings in one easy step.

Please note that reinstalling PostgreSQL will mean losing all your old data. If you have access to HM2 and your database was not corrupt then please follow these instructions for backing up your database as a precaution in case you cannot reconnect after reinstalling PostgreSQL - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...onfigs+work%3F

If you cannot access the database in HM2 then you can backup your database using this method: http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...nced+Method%29 but if your database was corrupt then the best solution is to reimport all your hands from C:/HM2archive folder or if your pokersite supports it you can request all your hands and summaries and reimport them as restoring a corrupt database will just restore all the problems you had.

Once you have backed up your previous database(s) then follow the instructions below to uninstall and reinstall PostgreSQL using the same database.

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.

2) Run the command - start > programs > accessories > command prompt > right-click > run as administrator and type the following and then press enter:

net user postgres /delete

3) You should get a successfully completed response if done correctly. If you get a permission type error you likely didnt run it as administrator as explained above.

4) Reboot your PC

5) Install the same version of PostgreSQL (HM2 ships with 8.4) - http://www.enterprisedb.com/products...wnload#windows - as your previous database using these instructions - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rving+database

Beta sign up is currently closed but if you create a support ticket via the Contact Support link and request a HM3 Beta trial license (tell them Fozzy wants you to have a trial) with a link to this thread and your forum name one of our techs will assign you a trial license.

There is no need to start a(nother) new thread or post about the party hud issues on FF tables. Our devs and testers are working on a fix. These changes should be available in the next gold beta release. While we do not have an exact date for the release, you will receive a prompt to update once available as long as you have enabled the Settings > General > [x] Prompt for Beta Updates.

Your posts were likely automatically moderated for some reason and will be approved when one of our forum guys encounters them. If you PM me here (if you can) your user name for our forums I can take a look at it when I have time later today to make sure there are no issues with your account. If you do not have enough posts on this forum to PM yet just post your user name for our forums in this thread, or URL="https://support.holdemmanager.com/"]create a support ticket[/URL] via the Contact Support link if you want to keep that anonymous, with your forum user name and problem description so we can take care of it that way.
