I am not sure how much it will help, or if you already saw it, but we do have some basic text instructions and video guide for the Popup Designer on our FAQs here.

Any time HM isn't sure which HUD to use, it will revert to the Default HUD (even if it is set to a site you never play).

The easiest way to get it setup is to delete all the current settings in the Site Options menu then when you join a new cash/tournament table choose the HUD you want to use from the Table HUD Options menu drop-down box and it will ask you if you want to use that HUD Config at all similar tables. Click the Settings menu (gear icon) that appears at the top of the table, choose the preferred HUD from the drop-down menu and then click the Use for all similar tables button. If you can't see the gear icon it can be enabled via the HUD Settings > General Settings > Common Settings > [x] Show Table HUD.

What is crashing? HM2 or your BOL/Chico Converter?

If the problem is with the card converter/catcher:

We can not provide technical help for unsupported sites/networks as we do not design our software to work there or test there with all of the third party tools. If you have any problems with HM2 using third party tools, to use our software with unsupported sites, all support will need to be handled by the third party software's support team.

If it is HM2 that is crashing:

If you continue to have problems, please duplicate the issue and send us log files with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing:
- Open Windows Event Viewer's (Control Panel - System & Security - Administrative Tools or Start - Search - 'Event Viewer') - Windows Logs - Applications.
- Check for any errors and send the information (Save All Events As...).
- Please send your \HM2Logs folder files as well.

When sending any files please zip them (right-click - send to - compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then right-click - 'copy dropbox link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket email. If you have any problems with dropbox try using filedropper.com

There is nothing more I can do to help with this issue via this forum thread. That is why I said the following at the end of the reply you quoted:

This is a known issue and should be resolved in our next beta release. While we do not have an exact date for the release, you will receive a prompt to update once available as long as you have enabled the Settings > General > [x] Prompt for Beta Updates.

Was just about to post about this also. Is there anyway to retrieve the FT hands afterwards?

After you update to the new build: Options > Hand Importing > Manual Hand Import > Import Options = [x] 'Force import of previously imported hands' > Import Folder > Import any folders that contain hands since the problem/tournaments started.

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM3Archive is in C:\HM3Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Network\Month\DayOfMonth (example: C:\HM3Archive\SiteName\HM3Archive\2016\07\31). It is configured in the Tools - Settings - Import menu.

I have no idea what Poker Master is so I am going to assume it is an unsupported site/network.

The easiest way would be the Reports > More Reports > 'By Hand Marking' report. Select the mark from the upper grid then click Ctrl+A in the lower hands grid to select all of the hands that have that mark.

How much free space do you have on your system/C drive?

Make sure that PostgreSQL logging is disabled. The 8.4 version that ships with HM2 has it disabled but if you installed a different version of PSQL manually that logging will be enabled and wasting a ton of space.

Please see this FAQ to clear up some more free space.

Try emptying c:\temp and/or c:\users\username\appdata\local\temp. You will need to show system and hidden files. See this tutorial for showing system and hidden files.

If you continue to have problems you can try moving the windows temp directories that we use for these database procedures to another drive that has more free space.

Also, make sure that the permissions settings are not blocking the necessary files/folders. Please see this FAQ to alleviate any security bottlenecks.

If you continue to have problems:

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'DBControlPanel' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps.

You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu.

Please reproduce the problem and zip/attach your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

The worst thing that could happen is you break the postgresql database or installation and have to reinstall it and restore/recreate your database. If you take your time and go step by step it is actually a fairly simple process. If you fail and have to reinstall postgresql you should try reinstalling with the HM2 installer so the logging will be disabled on installation. If you need detailed instructions let me know.

I added some tags and wanted to transfer the marked hands from one tag to another instead of doing them individually, they can be transferred when the hands are all highlighted, by adding to the tag of choice and unclicking from the previous tag.

When viewing the overall tab and selecting marked hands -> Bluffs.

When I do what you said and click on By HandMarking it switches from the Overall tab to the cash results graph tab.

If I don't select any marked hands it does the same.

I'm new to 888 and wondering if other HM2 users have problems with the HUD on their software?

HM2 is recording hands into the database without issue but I'm having a few issues with the HUD:
- tables aren't automatically being overlaid with the HUD - I'm having to use the table finder
- the layouts aren't aligning properly or consistently. I'm finding on some tables I can't drag the panels down below a certain point - but this doesn't affect all tables and doesn't seem to be affected by table sizing/ positioning etc. Connected to this is that when I best align the panels on one table, they are then out of alignment on another tab

Is 888 just difficult to get this working properly for? I'm thinking I may have to really strip back the number of stats I display because it seems like there is relatively little room to work in compared to other sites

I'd welcome any comments. I'm playing MTTs and SNGs

just so you know my DB size issue is solved, these steps given to me via email did the trick:

1) Please open PGAdminIII (Start - Postgres)

2) Enter your pw (default is postgrespass)

3) Open databases - expand DB name - expand schemas - expand public - expand Tables

4) Delete the note_caddy_scatter and note_caddy_data

...after that i had like 70gb more free space

thank you

I do not understand what is happening for the bold sentence. Clicking the More Reports - By HandMarking option should open the By HandMarking report, not the Cash Results Graph.

You should be able to do what you want the way you described or with the by hand marking report. Select the mark, select all those hands with the mark, then use the right-click menu to remove and replace the current mark.

No, all feedback is internal at this point as it is still in private beta testing. Once we move to open public beta testing we will be opening up some HM3 specific forums on our site.

If you got an invite and want to test the software you can send any feedback or questions thru the software's Help menu.

For the issue with positioning the HUD elements please see this FAQ - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...g+DPI+settings

For your other issues:

Make sure your site is configured to save hands and that HM2 is setup to auto import those hands.

*Note that we do not support play money hands so you must test/play real money hands when using HM2.

Make sure the poker client and hand histories are both in English. If it is not, you need to change it in the Lobby Options or reinstall the software and choose English.

Make sure that the Site Time Adjustment is properly configured such that the Time Stamp in the Reports for the hand matches your local windows clock time.

Please see this FAQ on how to use table finder if you are playing regular non-zoom type tables.

If you continue to have problems:

Please follow the instructions in this FAQ and reply back with the answers to the 12 questions in that FAQ. Those answers should help us quickly identify your issue, skipping questions will just mean we have to ask again in the next email and will delay the resolution of the issue.

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' and 'FastPoker' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu.

Please reproduce the problem and:
- Attach a screen shot of the table/desktop
- Try to include the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock and poker client lobby clock in the screen shot
- Save a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue
- Close HM2 and attach your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

With all the above information we should be able to narrow down what is causing the issue. If all the information is not included we will need to email you again to request it.

Please zip and email the requested files via the 'Contact Support' link and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread and let us know your forum name if there are several people in the thread.
