They changed the hand history files from '1,000' to '1k' so we are going to have update our parsers then update HM2. These changes should be available in the next gold beta release. While we do not have an exact date for the release, you will receive a prompt to update once available as long as you have enabled the Settings > General > [x] Prompt for Beta Updates.

I have found overall report but cant locate'the 'Show or hide the results graph' button between the two grids'

Is there other tabs to use ie. I found one called chips ev adjust and it says a big figure however net chips won is hugely in minus.
Also what does evbb/100 stand for should this figure be in - or + if running below ev?

Are you playing MTT or STT? If all you play is MTT then that is to be expected. If you also play SNG:

Please try to vacuum/analyze and reindex your database.

If you continue to have problems, try the following:

Try creating a new DataBase and import a small portion of your \HM2Archive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB.

If the new database seems to work properly, it sounds like your database might be corrupt. Please continue to use the new database and import the rest of your hands using the steps above. This is why regular backups are a good idea. If your database becomes corrupt you can restore a backup and only have to import the most recent hands (that were played after the backup was created) and edit any tournament results if necessary. I recommend keeping at least the most recent 2 or 3 backups in case the most recent one does not restore properly you can try the previous backup.

Here is a FAQ explaining how to backup your database and all settings in one easy step.

If none of that helps please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to us using the 'Contact Support' link.

It sounds like you are opening the stats picker and adding stats to the upper grid of the report. See the button circled in green in the image below:

Big Blinds won per 100 hands adjusted for All-In Expected Value.

Notice in the image above my bb/100 is -0.20 and my EV bb/100 is -0.44. This means I am losing less big blinds per 100 hands than I actually should be if I had ran at expectation. Somewhat related to those stats are the actual Net Won Chips and Chips EV Adjusted stats which correlate to the green and orange lines on the popout graph. I lost 218k chips but adjusted for All-IN EV I should have only lost 138k chips, i.e. I am running below EV because my green line is below my orange line.

I do not have an estimate for when this issue will be resolved. We do not give estimates until it has been confirmed as fixed by our internal testers and the release is imminent. It is an urgent issue and will be fixed as soon as possible.

I'm having a brain freeze moment while I go down the rabbit hole with ranges....Anyway, the Call range versus a 3bet stat is based on the entire range rather than someone's opening range from that position.

I.e. if someone opens 50% from the button and has a call resteal range of 12% would this mean 12% of all possible hands or 12% of the 50% opening range (and therefore 6% of all possible hands)?

Thanks

It would be the latter as HM3 defines it as 'Range of hands player calls 3bet with - based on 3Bet Call Percent * Raise unraised pot Pct'.

Nothing new as far as I know. We do not know when HM3 will be available for public Beta.

As we finalize other details, we will make announcements accordingly.

A few US states now have regulated online poker. I live in Michigan and I think we're pretty close. Three states are having discussions about getting their player pools together. At what point does US regulated poker get big enough that Holdem Manager would consider supporting it?

EDIT. I left out the District of Columbia, they have passed legislation as well.

We already support all of the regulated US facing networks/skins that allow us to support them. If the other states wrote hand history files, and interpreted their state laws as allowing tracking/HUD software, we would support them as well if they wanted us to. We can only support a regulated site/network if it is legal and they work with us to write the hand history (and other) files we need in a format we can support.

HM2 seems to be only saving half of the hands in each tournament I play. I go to party poker HH and the hands are there but when I try to reply the tournament through reports, the last half of the tournament isn't there, any advice? cheers

They released an update to their tournament hand history files that changes larger blind level numbers, for example they now write '500/1,000' in the file as '500/1k'. Our developers will have to update our parsing code in HM2 (and HM3) and update the software. Once our testers have confirmed the fix we will release an update for HM2 so you can force import all the new hands that aren't being imported now, and to get the HUD working again.

These changes should be available in the next gold beta release. While we do not have an exact date for the release, you will receive a prompt to update once available as long as you have enabled the Settings > General > [x] Prompt for Beta Updates.

I didn't know that you were already supporting US sites, that's great to hear. I have another question for you.

For recordkeeping purposes, I know that some things have to be added manually to HM2, such as rakeback. For that and other things that you don't pick up, such as bounties, is there a way add a column or otherwise separately display those things from the usual poker stats and information?

EDIT. I've been putting everything on a 17-column spreadsheet so that I can see everything at once and have very complete records for myself and the IRS. I used to do taxes and I know that good recordkeeping makes the IRS very happy. If I can let HM track what it tracks and just add a few things, it would save me some administrative time.

Rakeback can be added to reports in HM2 and there is a column for the Rebuys in tournaments. HM3 will break things down better in the Tournament Editor giving separate fields for Buyin, Rake, Rebuy Amount/Number, Addon Amount/Number, Bounty Amount/Number, etc. I am not sure if all of these fields are available yet for the Reports views but if they aren't they can be easily added to reports later.

Sounds great! That seems to cover pretty much everything that I record. The only thing missing is that I have tournament columns that calculate net win and net loss amounts for every one of my 500+ online tournaments played in 2017. That will show the IRS exactly how I calculated my profit for every one of those tournaments. I can show them net win totals, net loss totals, and of course net profit for the year. If I can't add that information to HM3 columns I'll just make a separate report for that on an Open Office spreadsheet, which is what I am using now..

If they have any questions, once they see the detail of my records, they probably won't bother me again for years, if ever.

For anyone reading this, once we are in 2017 it's never too early to make sure that you have your records together for taxes.

When I had a job doing taxes, a farmer brought in a very full paper bag which contained all of his receipts for the year. He just threw them into the bag unsorted when he got home from the store. He got charged extra for sorting it out, and I was the guy that got to go through that bag.

Don't be that guy.

There is no way to do that as far as I know. If you want to do population tendency review of everyone but yourself:

If you want to create an alias with a lot of villains you can do it via PGAdmin as explained here or via the new NoteCaddy Premium Aliases feature that creates an alias based on a color definition but please be aware that it can be very resource intensive to link all villains to an alias so you should have a powerful computer with lots of ram if attempting this. This technique can also cause erroneous results if some of the villain's you aliased together have played hands against each other. An alias is designed to join 2 or more hero screen names that would not have played against each other so while this is possible to do it is not something we officially support or recommend.

If you are using NC you can do the aggregate percentages much more quickly than by making an alias.
