I don't see any open tickets for this issue in our system.

Please try to vacuum/analyze and reindex your database.

If you continue to have problems, try the following:

Try creating a new DataBase and import a small portion of your \HM2Archive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB.

If the new database seems to work properly, it sounds like your database might be corrupt. Please continue to use the new database and import the rest of your hands using the steps above. This is why regular backups are a good idea. If your database becomes corrupt you can restore a backup and only have to import the most recent hands (that were played after the backup was created) and edit any tournament results if necessary. I recommend keeping at least the most recent 2 or 3 backups in case the most recent one does not restore properly you can try the previous backup.

Here is a FAQ explaining how to backup your database and all settings in one easy step.

If none of that helps please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to us using the 'Contact Support' link.

every time a table opens hem forces the 'waiting hud' on the table. that looks like this:

but this has no use for me when im not seated at the table, and it causes holdemmanager.exe and hudfuncsapp.exe to unnecessarily slow down the pc & increase cpu usage
so i would like to see it possible to turn off this hud (or simply detecting tables) for tables where hero is not seated?
is this possible?

You can set the 'Table HUD' overlay to not show but it will not disappear until the rest of the HUD shows up.

In More filters > Other Advanced filters there is a 'Hero saw showdown' option with True/False choices.

As far as I know it does but to be sure I would need to know what site you are playing and have a sample of hands/summaries to test with.

If you think it is incorrect please zip and email the problem hand histories and tournament summaries, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to us using the 'Contact Support' link and explain in detail which ones you think might be incorrect and why.

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth e.g C:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31 or if it was auto-imported with v7283+ it would be in C:\HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\MM\DD.

When sending any files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then 'copy public link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket email.

To know if it was your AV you would have to uninstall it and reboot then ryun through or HM2 PostgreSQL troubleshooting FAQ.

Make sure you follow all the light blue hyperlinks (I am unable to make those links darker blue and more bold unfortunately) at the beginning of the FAQ and in the 'Advanced Postgresql connection steps' section.

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and send your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

When sending logs make sure you link to this thread and give us your forum name so anyone answering that email/ticket can see what I already suggested so far.

I normally play on Ignition using my Holdem Manager in conjunction with my Ignition Card Catcher.
I just downloaded Betonline, and I am wondering if I have to do anything with my holdem manager to get it to work on this site.
I have 4 tables open, but I am not seated at any of them. Do I have to be seated at a table in order for my Holdem Manager to import hands?

You would need to ask the card catcher developers. If it saves hands to the same folder that Ignition hands go to it should work without any other setup as far as I know.

We can not provide technical help for unsupported sites/networks as we do not design our software to work there or test there with all of the third party tools. If you have any problems with HM2 using third party tools, to use our software with unsupported sites, all support will need to be handled by the third party software's support team.

I won't be needing my card catcher for Betonline. I will only be using your software. Does your software not start importing hands on Betonline until I am actually sitting at the table?

The amount you pay to upgrade HM2 at this point will be applied directly to your HM3 upgrade cost (if any) along with any pro-rated discount based on when you bought HM2 SS originally.

If I am understanding your question it would be:

More Filters > Basic Filters:
- Common Filters > Saw Flop = Yes
- Position and Action:
- Hero's Position = SB and BB
- Preflop Action Facing Hero = 1 Raiser
- Raiser's Position = Button

Other Advanced Filters > Preflop > Did 3Bet = False > OK

Here is a zip of the filter I created to be sure of my instructions above that you can download.

Hi,

I know this might not be the right place, but this is going for more than a weak and I dont know where to put a notecaddy question, so I thought just post it where: I have some kind of error / bug when I try to run notecaddy. I can not open the notecaddy program inside hm (hm crash when I try to), so I can not enable logging. I tried:

- deleting the files recommended to delete in this kind of situation
- run C:\Program Files (x86)\Holdem Manager 2\NoteCaddy.HM2Update.exe
- create a new (empty) database then restart HM2
- reinstall HM2
- windows is fully updated / no firewall or antivirus running
- run windows in safemode with network support to lunch hm, but was not sucesseful.

Any ideias would be great at this point, both to open notecaddy or to be able to uninstall / reset to default any setting that might be going this. Also, a link to the thread in hm foruns.

You can send us your HM2Logs folder files as instructed below.

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HMApps' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps.

You can enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu.

Please reproduce the problem and attach your \HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

Please zip and email the requested file via the 'Contact Support' link with a link to this thread (and the thread on the NC forums) and your forum name.

More Filters > Basic Filters > Position and Action > Pre-flop action facing Hero - Choose 1 limper/2+ limpers as appropriate

then I think..

Advanced action filters > Filter by pre-flop action and choose call.

more filters > basic filters:

OK

This will also show times you check your option in the Big Blind after a limp. If you don't want to see those hands uncheck the more filters > basic filters > position and action > hero's position |= [ ] 'Big Blind' also

Is there an issue with the current update with ipoker hands? Lots of my winning hands are being recorded as losses. For example, this hand is being recorded as a €73.52 loss..

IPoker, $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 2 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

    Hero (BB): $75.52 (151 bb)
    SB: $24.74 (49.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A K
SB raises to $1, Hero raises to $75.52 and is all-in, SB folds

    Spoiler:
    Results: $2 pot
Hero mucked A K and lost (-$73.52 net)

It appears that IPoker changed their hand history format in a recent update and that is causing this issue. We will have to collect samples for our developers to work on a fix. This will affect both the importing results and the HUD so there is nothing we can do in a remote support session to solve this issue until we fix the importing issues and see if it solves your HUD issues.

These changes should be available in the next gold beta release. While we do not have an exact date for the release, you will receive a prompt to update once available as long as you have enabled the Settings > General > [x] Prompt for Beta Updates.
