Couple questions -

Is there a deal for getting small stakes Holdem + Omaha (like with pro Holdem + Omaha)?

If so, can I later upgrade to Pro for the same as the price difference between SS and Pro?

Can I buy with Pokerstars $ transfer?

Thanks

You can't buy a combo small stakes version in one purchase. You have to buy holdem or omaha then use the Upgrade page to add the other for $5 less than the initial version so there is a bit of a discount in that regard.

If you have a SS Holdem + Omaha license you can upgrade later to the Pro version at a discounted price (the same cost as your first purchase).

It is against the terms of service at poker sites to transfer funds for products or services so we can not accept site transfers for payments.

If you have further questions please email your questions to to our sales team via the 'Contact Support' link as I don't think we are supposed to be discussing sales topics in this technical support thread.

For optimal performance we recommend an Intel i7 CPU, 8gb of RAM or more and an SSD for your main system drive. Depending on your drive type/speed, how many tables/sites you play at once and what other programs are running while playing you should have adequate performance for running HM2.

If you have any issues please reproduce the problem and send your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

I'm also having trouble with purging my database. Tried it a few times, but it didn't work. I think I'm going to create a new database.

2 questions;
- What effect does this have on my current 'marked hands' do they get deleted?

- Wat happens with the notes I created on players using HM, will they get deleted as well, or do I still keep them?

How much free space do you have on your system/C drive and how big is the database according to the HM2 > Database > Database Info menu? You generally need more than twice as much free space as your database is big according to that menu and you should always have at least 20% free space.

Please see this FAQ to clear up some more free space.

Try emptying c:\temp and/or c:\users\username\appdata\local\temp. You will need to show system and hidden files. See this tutorial for showing system and hidden files.

If you continue to have problems you can try moving the windows temp directories that we use for these database procedures to another drive that has more free space.

Put the backup file location on another drive.

Also, make sure that the permissions settings are not blocking the necessary files/folders. Please see this FAQ to alleviate any security bottlenecks.

If you continue to have problems:

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'DBControlPanel' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps.

You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu.

Please reproduce the problem and zip/attach your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

They are part of the database they were created in. You would have to backup those 2 things with the skip database option enabled so they can be restored into the new database after you import hands to the new database.

Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser).

If you are trying to completely reinstall PSQL and start a new DB from scratch the steps below are what you need. It sounds like you already did step 1 so you can skip that step below. Skip step 2 and 3 if you want to ever be able to reinstall and reconnect your previous database(s). If you need instructions for this type of reinstall let me know and I can provide those steps.

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL from the Windows Control Panel.

2) Delete the \PostgreSQL\X.x\data folder that is left behind.

3) Delete the sub-folder(s) in c:\users\username\appdata\roaming\HoldemManager\Da tabase (XP - c:\documents and settings\username\application data\HoldemManager\Database).

4) run the command - start > programs > accessories > command prompt > right-click > run as administrator

net user postgres /delete

After you click 'Enter' for the code above also do that same for this code:

sc delete postgresql-8.4

and click 'Enter' again.

5) Restart your PC

6) Install PostgreSQL 9.3 from here.

7) Once installed you should disable the postgresql logging as instructed here.

If there is an issue installing, we need to know the error - it is in the temp folder - bitrockinstaller.txt file. If you can't see it, turn off the windows option that is hiding that directory. Send that file and send your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

Hi, when playing tournaments on party poker I want it to show all hands for my opponents, but when i move tables mid-tournament it keeps unselecting the all hands option and going to just current session.

Have tried unticking show session stats from the HUD options but this doesn't help. Any ideas how to keep it always showing all hands (and then current stats when i double click the HUD like normal)

Thanks

Please export your HUD's in HUD Settings > HUD Designer.

Then delete the prefs.xml file in this folder:

Windows 7/8/10, Vista

C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\Config

XP

C:\Documents And Settings\[Username]\Application Data\HoldemManager\Config

To see these folders you may have to enable hidden files.

Try to reproduce the problem using the default HUD/settings. If it works properly you can try importing your customized HUD again. If the problem returns after importing the custom HUD then you know that config is corrupted and you will need to delete it and rebuild it from scratch or import an older backup of that HUD config that was created before the corruption. If you have to rebuild the HUD and don't have a backup/export of your HUD from before the corruption occurred you can try to find a similar HUD to use as a starting template from our HUD Repository.

If you continue to have problems even with the default HM2 HUD profiles:

Are you using any customized HUD/Tournament filters? I didn't try loading your prefs/config file to see if that could be the issue:

Make sure the HUD Settings > General Settings > Common Settings > [ ] 'Use session stats' is disabled. Also check the Table HUD Options to be sure it is set to All Hands and not Session Stats.

- HUD Settings > HUD Filters should all be set to '2 to 10' and make sure that both check box options under Filter by limits are checked [x].

- HUD Settings > HUD Filters > Filter by date / numer of hands > 'Include hands newer than X months old' should be set to 120 and 'Use last X hands' should be set to 0.

- HUD Settings > Tournament Filters are all set to '1 to 81+'. Changing these filters to anything other than their default settings will make the HUD Stats change drastically based on the number of players at the table and/or their stack sizes in tournaments.

If that doesn't fix the issues, please reproduce the problem and attach a screen shot - http://graphicssoft.about.com/cs/gen...screenshot.htm - showing the HUD, the Report for one of the selected players with the problems, and pictures of the HUD Filters and Tournament Filters and attach a log file as explained in this FAQ.

Yes, we can import their hand history files. They do not write tournament summary files so tournament results will be hit and miss (total miss as far as MTT are concerned) so you will need to use the Tournament Editor to manually edit the results via the Reports > Tournament > Tournaments > right-click > edit - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rnament+Editor

I just added the note function so I could write my own notes in HEM2 but half of the regs I play against already have a little yellow "N" badge and some notecaddy notes about limping ranges.

Is it possible to turn off these notecaddy notes and have the "N" badge only display when I have written my own notes on a player?

Did you buy notecaddy or just enable the free version in the HUD Settings? NoteCaddy writes notes based on the note definitions. If you leave it disabled the notes that NC writes will not show and the note icon will turn from white to yellow (no 'N' text in it) or whatever color you assign to the note. If you had it disabled and couldn't see the white note icon in your HUD you can turn on the icon in the HUD Settings > General Settings (choose your HUD profile in the upper left preview menu) > Common Settings > [x] 'Show note icon'.

Trying this out and hoping to track down why/how I've blown myself up the last two months. One (noob) question, is there a way to unlock the table setup so I can move the stat boxes? They cover up some of the cards and I can't see the money that other players have.

If the HUD panels are near their proper seat but just need a slight move to fine tune their positions you can move them with the right mouse button - hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/questions/2601/Mouse+Shortcuts#movehuds

Got a question regarding the use of Holdem Manager 2

I am currently switching to MG and I just read that it is not possible to see all the hands in Holdem Manager played at MG, only the hands where I put in money in the pot which is still fine for me (not interested about the stats/HUD/etc., only needing my hands to work with them).

I read through the official thread at Holdem Manager page and tried (as suggested) to download these two Versions however after opening the downloaded files (whether its version 8454 or 8465) i get the following Error:
http://imgur.com/LPIJ6IL
If I press the "Ok" button now I get redirected to this page:
http://www.holdemmanager.com/store/d...ds-manuals.php

How can I get a Holdem Manager 2 where I can see the hands I put money in the pot?

Thankful for any advice!

It is a low priority issue due to how few customers play those games and are reporting those issues. HM3 Beta seems to do much better with those hands so please create a support ticket via the Contact Support link and tell us you want to test HM3 Beta because of these issues you are having with HM-8386.

That error means you installed, or are installing hm2 for the first time, using an update patch instead of the full setup file. Download the full setup file from the downloads page first then rollback to the older version from that forum thread.

Is it possible to run a scan or something to see if my db is corrupted? HEM 2 keeps crashing every 5 mins. However, it could be a hardware issue that I have had with this computer before. But, I would like to somewhat diagnose it myself if possible. Thanks.

No but if you create a new database and that doesn't crash then the database is likely the cause and possibly corrupted.

Please try to vacuum/analyze and reindex your database.

If you continue to have problems, try the following:

Try creating a new DataBase and import a small portion of your \HM2Archive so you can see if the problem exists in the new DB.

If the new database seems to work properly, it sounds like your database might be corrupt. Please continue to use the new database and import the rest of your hands using the steps above. This is why regular backups are a good idea. If your database becomes corrupt you can restore a backup and only have to import the most recent hands (that were played after the backup was created) and edit any tournament results if necessary. I recommend keeping at least the most recent 2 or 3 backups in case the most recent one does not restore properly you can try the previous backup.

Here is a FAQ explaining how to backup your database and all settings in one easy step.

If you continue to have problems, please duplicate the issue and send us log files with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing:
- Open Windows Event Viewer's (Control Panel > System & Security > Administrative Tools or Start > Search > 'Event Viewer') > Windows Logs > Applications.
- Check for any errors and send the information (Save All Events As...).
- Please send your \HM2Logs folder files as well.

When sending any files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then right-click > 'copy public link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket email. If you have any problems with dropbox try using filedropper.com

Please reinstall the latest Visual C++ updates - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2977003

Sometimes the .net framework installation can become corrupt. This can cause several problems including freezes on startup, registration issues, crashes and more. The following FAQ walks you through safely uninstalling .net framework and reinstalling it again - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...p+Instructions

Double-check for Windows updates then try to install HM2 again.
