Hello ,
I would like to ask you something about HM2 and NoteCaddy performance.I bought a new PC with i7 processor , SSD ect. ,just to have HM2 and NoteCaddy works faster. But when they install my Windows /in my SSD Drive / they offer me to place my "User folder" in D Drive because it is better and I just say Ok.But now when I installed HM2 I see that there is some folders installed in my "User folder" which is in my D Drive as I said above. So I am wondering is there any problem that my "User folder" is in D Drive and not in C Drive which is in SSD.

Let's recap because my English is awful.I have my Windows on my SSD but they place only "User folder" in my other hard drive. My question is: Is this is any problem for performance of my HM2 ?

Everything (poker related) should be installed on the faster drive/SSD. This means Windows (and all of its \Users directories), HM2, PostgreSQL, Poker Clients, etc. For this reason I generally recommend a 256GB SSD, or larger if you are a high volume player, to make sure you have plenty of free space (which we need for database maintenance/backup tasks) and because larger SSD's generally perform better than smaller versions of the same model number SSD.

Bought HM2 last week and have spent several hours trying to look through the support section on the site and trying to fix my Postgresql issues and still can't get things working right. Any way I could get some further help on my issue?

Thanks

What are you referring to exactly? You want multiple panels in your HUD to separate some of the stats?

You need to use the HUD Settings > HUD Designer > 'New Panel' button in the center for each place you want a stat to go onto a different/new panel.

You can find some free multi panel HUDs in our HUD Repository on our site.

Please update to the latest beta version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ger_2_Beta.exe

- After downloading, you should right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock.*
* If you do not see an 'unblock' option you can ignore this step.
- Then, right click the file and run as administrator.

1) Export any custom HUD configs.
2) Open the HM2 > HUD Settings > HUD Designer menu > Click 'Reset' > [x] Panel Positions > OK

Please check this FAQ if you play at pokerstars - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...For+PokerStars

1) Open one Table, play at least one hand.
2) Move the stats with the Arrow Buttons (< >) on the Table Averages HUD to rotate your HUD where it belongs.
3) Now you can open further tables but you will always have to play at least one hand for the stats to be moved to the correct positions.

If you continue to have problems:

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' and 'FastPoker' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ging#startmenu

Please reproduce the problem and:
- Attach a screen shot of the table/desktop
- Try to include the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock and poker client lobby clock in the screen shot
- Save a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue
- Close HM2 and attach your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ger+Support%3F

With all the above information we should be able to narrow down what is causing the issue, if all the information is not included we will need to email you again to request it.

Please zip and email the requested files via the 'Contact Support' link here - https://support.holdemmanager.com/ - and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread and let us know your forum name if there are several people in the thread.

I recently upgraded from HM1 to HM2 and I'd like to use the default HM1 Hud.

I noticed there's an import HM1 Hud's option, could you please tell me where I could find that file? Also, is it possible to also use the expansion tab from the HM1 hud on HM2? (When you click the hud to see more info?)

I am not sure what you are referring to exactly as I haven't used HM1 in a few years. The popups? They should be imported with the HUD(s).

You may also want to check out the HUD Repository for free user created HUDs that you may like more than yours, or for using as a template to recreate your HM1 HUD in a HM2 style.

As far as I know it does. We don't get many (any) reports of issues on XP but I am not sure if that is because there are no issues or because so few people are still using it.

Good luck at the tables. If you have any further questions or problems do not hesitate to ask us.

thanks for the quick and clear response. HUD stats were aligning wrong because I had a preferred seat and new panel button does completely what I asked for.

also, before trying here I tried to ask my question on holdemmanager forums but forum kept saying I didn't have permissions to create a new thread. Is there something I should do, after registering, to be able to create new threads?

thanks again.

Back in September a Zoom HUD wasn't possible under XP because the newer versions of HM2 required Net Framework 4.5 - which isn't part of XP

Is that no longer true? A fix was found?

Glad to hear that solved it.

In regards to the forums: We now manually approve all new forum accounts due to the amount of spam we used to get. If you try creating a forum account with an email address that doesn't have a store account or any email history we do not approve it.

If you want me to create the forum account for you manually create a support ticket with the request for a forum account and at least 2 preferred usernames.

All that being said, you will generally get a faster reply to your problems if you create a support ticket and it will be easier for us to track your history, licenses, logs, etc.

That is likely still the case. I had forgot about that issue as I don't think anyone else has mentioned it since that thread 3 months ago due to how few still use that unsupported Operating System. Thanks for the reminder.

thanks, I will create support tickets from now on. but i have a last minor issue that i forgot to mention: I'm from Turkey and I'm playing on a Turkish poker network. this network has some tables named "Çinarcik", "Ortaköy" etc. as you can see, these names have turkish letters such as Ç, Ö, İ, Ş etc. the hm2 hud doesnt work on these tables. it works just fine on others that doesnt have any turkish letter. (Ö,İ,Ş,Ç,Ğ etc)

is there anything i can do to fix this?

Is it a site from a supported network? If yes, we need you to send some logs/files in a support ticket. If it is an unsupported network's skin there is nothing we can do and you would need to discuss the problem with the support team for whatever third party software/converter you are using to make HM2 work on this site.

If it is part of a supported network, send the following in a support ticket:

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' and 'FastPoker' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ging#startmenu

When sending any files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then 'copy public link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread and let us know your forum name if there are several people in the thread.

I think it's a supported network because I'm not using any converter. I believe it uses Winning poker's skin. I have created a ticket with the files you requested: https://support.holdemmanager.com/us...wticket/179866

WPN sells/leases their software to sites that are not part of their official network.

We only officially support the ones that are actually on the network - http://www.winningpokernetwork.com/partners/

The only other thing you can try that I hadn't mentioned yet would be the Table Finder: Please see this FAQ on how to use table finder http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...+not+appear%3F

FYI there is no need to link to your ticket, just give the ticket number. That link you posted actually takes me to my support ticket inbox as if I were a customer.

I will take a look at what you sent and reply shortly.

this is the ticket number: #179866

table finder solved this issue for me but i think it doesn't remember the tables once i close hm2 which isn't really a big issue.

should i close the ticket now or will you be investigating it further?

and thanks a lot for your help since i wasn't able to use this awesome software on half the tables i play. i'm really grateful.

You can close the ticket or it will auto close after 10 days with a email notification to let you know. You will have to use the Table Finder on every table, or every restart unfortunately. We can only develop and work on bugs for their official network partners. There are quite a few of these non-network sites that use their software that will work in some limited function like this Jest site you play on Betcoin, , etc.

Good luck at the tables. If you have any further questions or problems do not hesitate to ask us.

Make sure you always start HM2 first before you open the FTP Client. If you closed FTP for any reason (like a client update) and did not close HM2 please close them both and start HM2 before you stars FTP again.

Please check all of the steps on this FAQ - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...lt+Rush+Tables

I have 2 SSD's. One for my OS+some soft and the other for Postgres/HEM DB. I was told this could cause some issues. This is a new PC so I haven't created a database yet, but I intend to have my HEM DB on a separate drive than my OS.

I installed HEM2 on my OS Drive and Postgresql on my 2nd drive (along with creating a HEM2 DB on that drive when I first installed HEM2).

Now when I open HEM2, it says it can't find postgresql. I was told that HEM2 looks for PostgreSQL only on the C-drive (OS-drive). How do I fix this ?

I'm OK installing HEM2 to the 2nd drive if that could fix the issue (it's currently on the OS drive), but I cannot compromise on having my Database on the 2nd drive, and would like to have PostgreSQL on the 2nd drive as well (not sure whether that's required or not).

Let me know please, thanks.
