If you want to create an alias with a lot of villains you can do it via PGAdmin or RangeMeister as explained here - http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/18...y-hem-1212650/ - but please be aware that it can be very resource intensive to link all villains to an alias so you should have a powerful computer with lots of ram if attempting this.

Just checked my alerts and I seem to get various ones for no reason (play money not supported, licensed for low stakes only). I just ignore them however I've noticed that I'm getting one each week that advises 'Full Tilt Poker Hand History Saving Is Not Enabled'. I'm definitely importing my HH's though so any idea why I'm getting this?

It's no big deal as it's not causing any issues but just wondered why it appeared.

Hey, after necessary update to PS7 my TS2 stopped working. After starting the scan it resizes the Pokerstars windows, then displays the message "Could not detect Lobby".

Tried already everything, running as an administrator, changing fonts/sizes/lobby settings and still nothing. Hm2 & TS2 are up to date.

What can I do? I cant grind :/

Do you have more than one FTP client installed? Maybe you got moved from FTP.com to FTP.eu or .com? We read the HH path from the settings so it might be reading it from an old/unused client and if you uninstall the old client and delete the client's settings files/folders from the \users sub-folder it will probably stop giving the false alerts. The holdem/stakes false alerts I have seen a bit over the past few months but I am not sure why they are showing up yet.

I had to re-install hem2 and PS and postgresql because hud wasn't working at zoom and none of the proposed solutions worked. Now everytime I start HEM2 it crashes/freezes when "loading hands", but when I shut it down in the task manager and restart it, it works fine. It's the first open when I start my PC it always crashes.

Did you send us the requested logs and we suggested you reinstall all that stuff? It is generally not needed to solve a Zoom HUD problem. If we have been communicating via email we need to continue the conversation there as this topic is too complex for 2+2 and we need to see your previous and new log files.

Please see this FAQ to alleviate any security bottlenecks - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...olders+HM2+use

Please give HoldemManager Administrator rights - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...7%7D7+%26+8%29

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using?

Many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with Holdem Manager.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Please install the latest version: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ger_2_Beta.exe
- After downloading, you should right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock. Then, right click the file and run as administrator.
4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rewall%29#MSES
5) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

If you continue to have problems, please duplicate the issue and send us log files with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing:
- Open Windows Event Viewer's - Windows Logs - Applications.
- Check for any errors and send the information (Save All Events As...).
- Please send a log file as well - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ger+Support%3F

I believe the HUD still works on normal tables as of a few weeks ago according to this post on our forums. To try use HM1 on Zoom tables you have to follow the workaround steps in this stickied thread.

We stopped selling HM1 licenses when HM2 was released in November of 2011. We stopped updating for critical bugs and providing support for HM1 at the end of April 2014 - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...mmon+Questions

If you have any problems with HM1 there is nothing else we can do since we no longer support this software so you should consider trying HM2. If you have not tried it recently you should be able to install the latest update and activate a new 30 day trial. If you have any problems with the trial let us know and we can extend the trial for you manually.

This is usually a firewall or windows update issue and the following guide will help you to fix this problem.

Go to Start > Programs (or all programs) > PostgreSQL 8.x > choose Stop Service

Start > Programs (or all programs) > PostgreSQL 8.x and choose Start Service. This may take some time and a black dos window may appear while it’s starting. If it fails to start delete the C:\Program Files\postgresql\8.x\data\postmaster.pid file, if you see it. Do not delete any other files

Add exceptions to the windows firewall, even if it is off. If you have a 3rd party firewall, do the equivalent or uninstall it temporarily – http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...ender+Problems - Windows Firewall / Defender Problems

If none of those worked Please reboot and try following these FAQs, step by step:

1) http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...rt+PostgreSQL+ Can’t Connect / Failed to Start PostgreSQL
2) Reinstall the same version of postgresql, using the same \data folder – http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...abaseReinstall PostgreSQL Preserving Old Database

Failing that you will probably have to reinstall PostgreSQL completely and reimport your archived hands using these instructions. Once you do this you won’t have access to the hands in the old database but since you can’t connect to the database your already in that situation. In the case it’s not possible to reconnect you can either contact the PostgreSQL forums who may be able to help with advanced connection issues or you can reinstall. I’ve listed 3 PostgreSQL forums below
http://forums.devshed.com/postgresql-help-21/
http://old.nabble.com/PostgreSQL-f759.html
http://www.dbforums.com/postgresql/

1) Uninstall PostgreSQL via Control Panel > Programs & Features (Add/Remove Programs on XP).
2) Use our combo installer to reinstall PostgreSQL. Make sure you un-check Holdem Manager during installation. http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ager_Setup.exe

If that installer fails to install PostgreSQL, please reinstall PostgreSQL using the following instructions:

The secondary logon service is a standard windows service which is available on every windows computer and is required to be running to install PostgreSQL. In the latest versions it is not started automatically. You need to start it via control panel > administrative tools > services. Starting it once should insure it works in the future also.

Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt > Right-Click > Run As Administrator
In the window that appears please type the following and press enter:

net user postgres /delete

Try installing this version of PostgreSQL – http://rvgsoftware.fileburst.com/Pos...3.9-v1.0.7.exe
If that also fails Please follow step A again and try this version

Hey Fozzy,

Wondering about Stars Zoom data. I always assumed that once you fast fold, HM can't record the rest of the hand. But just realized that my HM replayer is showing the full hand, even when I'm pretty sure that didn't see the action live.

Can you confirm that's true?

And if yes, does that mean that the stats in our HUD are show data for full hands. Like if you fold preflop, will your HUD stats for Villain's post flop actions be updated anyway? For example, cbet turn.

Yes, pokerstars writes the full hand history for fast-folded hands to your drive once the hand has finished and then we import it. You should make sure when you finish your zoom session and sit out that you leave the table open for a few (we suggest 5) minutes to be sure all fast-folded hands have completely finished so they can be imported.

If you had to use the reinstall steps then the database is gone and will have to be restored from a backup or recreated by manually importing the original hands from the \HMArchive folder. This is why regular backups are a good idea. If your database becomes corrupt, damaged or disconnected you can restore a backup and only have to import the most recent hands (that were played after the backup was created) and edit any tournament results if necessary.

I used HEM2 on PC, then bought a Mac without realising it wasn't supported. Using PT4 now but much prefer HEM2. Having problems setting up Bootcamp as I have a partition already for work.

1 - Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser).
2 - Update your graphics drivers - http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...hicsCardDriver
3 - Enable desktop composition - http://windows7support247.blogspot.c...mposition.html

The following solutions have also proved to be helpful in resolving this although these are usually isolated issues
1 - Set desktop to an aero theme:
- W7 - http://www.tomshardware.com/faq/id-2...o-windows.html
- W8 - http://www.howtogeek.com/128630/how-...-in-windows-8/
2 - Update Logitech Setpoint - http://www.logitech.com/en-us/584/3131

Make sure you always start HM2 first before you open the PokerStars Client. If you closed PokerStars for any reason and did not close HM2 please close them both and start HM2 before you stars PokerStars again.

Please check all of the steps on this FAQ - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rs+Zoom+Tables

If you continue to have problems please send the requested files/screenshots as instructed at the end of the FAQ in the link above.

A determination on the future of Mac for HM2 will be made after the HM Cloud launch. We are going to first evaluate the Mac for HM Cloud Alpha which will soon be released. If you want to use HM2 on a MAC you will need to use something like Parallels or BootCamp so you can install Windows for playing poker.
