Are you saying you can't see any hands for your stars screen name or saying that the hands are there but the tournament results are incorrect/incomplete?

For the former:

Try creating a new folder on your computer such as C:\StarsHands and C:\StarsTourneys then configure PokerStars to save the hands/results here in their Options > Instant Hand History menu and setup HM2 to Auto Import from here in the Site Setup menu.

Make sure your site is configured to save hands and that HM2 is setup to auto import those hands - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...20Setup%20Info

*Note that we do not support play money hands so you must test/play real money hands when using HM2 - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ay+Money+Hands

Make sure the poker client and hand histories are both in English. If it is not, you need to change it in the Lobby Options or reinstall the software and choose English.

Make sure that the Site Time Adjustment is properly configured such that the Time Stamp in the Reports for the hand matches your local windows clock time - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ime+Adjustment

If you continue to have problems:

Please follow the instructions in the following FAQ and reply back with the answers to the 12 questions in that FAQ. Those answers should help us quickly identify your issue, skipping questions will just mean we have to ask again in the next email and will delay the resolution of the issue - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...es+not+work%3F

Alternatively you can use our Priority Support Tool which often resolves the issue and it will ask you relevant questions and at the end it will forward us the answers if you couldn't resolve it - http://www.holdemmanager.com/store/priority-support/ - look for the 'HUD is not working' topic. Requests via the priority support tool receive higher priority than normal emails.

For the latter:

Any tournament with more than 1 table (and many single table games) will require a separate Tournament Summary/History file to be imported for HM2 to properly calculate the size, places, and prizes. Without this information its impossible for HM2 to know the correct results. If you have any discrepancies you will need to edit the results manually - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rnament+Editor

You may need to request and import any/all of your old tournament histories and import those to HM2 to correct issues with old tournaments showing wrong results. Stars did not write the tourney summaries to your hard drive in the past, like FTP did, so please enable the option in the PokerStars client via their lobby options and make sure that HM2 has added both the hand history and summary folder to your Auto Import Folder Configuration and this will ensure future tournaments have correct results automatically.
http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...er+Stars+Setup

For older tournaments email support@pokerstars.com and ask for ALL your old Hand Histories and Tournament Audit Files in .htm format. They will send you an email with links to zip files of your hand histories. Download all the zip files. Right-Click > Extract the contents of each zip file to a new folder and then manually import those files by going to the Importing option in the HM Ribbon menu and choosing import from folders in the manual import section. You may see import errors as some of these hands are probably already imported.

The tournament summaries should be attached to the email as .htm files. Download the attachments and repeat the process of importing all the files. If the files are sent as .html you will need to rename them (Right-Click > Rename) from .html to .htm extensions otherwise they will not import. You can view this FAQ for more information on importing emailed hand histories:
http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...dem+Manager%3F

If you continue to have problems please zip up and email the problem hand histories with details of the issue you are experiencing or a link to the relevant thread and send it to hm2support@holdemmanager.com

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth e.g C:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31 or if it was auto-imported with v7283+ it would be in C:\HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\MM\DD.

When sending any hand history files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is too big to attach to an email please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox or filedropper and send us the download link.

Which Operating System, Firewall, and Anti-Virus are you using? Generally adding exceptions should mean you don't need to disable UAC, but many of those free Norton, Mcaffee, Comodo, Zonealarm, Avira, Avast, AVG, Bitdefender, etc, 'internet security' bundles will not work well with Holdem Manager.

Please do the following steps, so we can get your computer to a state that we know will work with Holdem Manager:

1) Uninstall any 3rd party security software bundles.
2) Reboot your computer
3) Please install the latest version: http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ger_2_Beta.exe
- After downloading, you should right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock. Then, right click the file and run as administrator.
4) Enable Windows Firewall's recommended settings through your Control Panel, turn off Windows Defender, and add firewall exceptions for HM and SQL - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rewall%29#MSES
5) Install Microsoft Security Essentials for antivirus/malware protection and update it - http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/

If you continue to have problems:

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ging#startmenu

Please reproduce the problem, close HM2 and zip/attach your \HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ger+Support%3F

With all the above information we should be able to narrow down what is causing the issue, if all the information is not included we will need to email you again to request it.

Please zip and email the requested files to hm2support@holdemmanager.com and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread and let us know your forum name if there are several people in the thread.

1-Sorry If It's already been mentioned, but the windows task manager displays thirtytwobitpc.exe.32 LicensingIPCTester. It's been showing up for a few weeks, It eats 10312K in memory. It's no big deal though because I just kill the process very quickly after starting a session.

2- There are a myriad of features I'd like to see implemented. For example , incorporating a vpip player search in the holecards report. I mean, when someone raises and I cold call, I want to know how I perform against a nit, a fish etc...
All your stats is versus the general population, unfortunately.

Thanks again for your amazing software.

If you play zoom (any fast-fold games) this will cause problems with your HUD if you disable that file. 10MB of RAM being used shouldn't be a concern. Chrome is currently using 1.5GB of RAM for me for comparison. Are you running low on RAM? More RAM is cheap these days so if you are running low I would suggest you add more.

You would have to create an alias of villains in a vpip range for each classification, set that villain as the active player in the reports, then filter for actions from their point of view since you can't use the Vs Player filter against an alias to filter from your own point of view.

If you want to create an alias with a lot of villains you can do it via PGAdmin or RangeMeister as explained here - http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/18...y-hem-1212650/ - but please be aware that it can be very resource intensive to link all villains to an alias so you should have a powerful computer with lots of ram if attempting this.

HM1 only supports 96/100 DPI Scaling. HM2 supports up to 125% DPI Scaling. I personally have dual 27" monitors at 2560 x 1440 resolution and use 100% DPI scaling. It takes a bit to get used to but more resolution is the way to go. The only thing I have ever used 125% scaling on is my Dell Venue Pro 8 tablet because 100% makes some things very difficult to click on the desktop side when using it like a computer.

HUDs don't have tabs. Are you referring to the tabs in the main popup? You would have to close HM2 and rename the .pop file for that popup/tab in the C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\HoldemManager\Co nfig folder. If you can't see it, turn off the windows option that is hiding that directory. http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...es+in+Windows+

This copied the tabs instead of replace it. The tabs still show the old names in my HUD, how did you manage to have them replaced to "renamed" in this case?

I am not sure what you mean by 'copied instead of replaced'. Can you post a screen shot? Were you renaming a default popup or a custom one? My example was done on a custom popup that I had made by using one of the default popups as a template. I renamed the custom pop file then added it to the Main Popup in the HUD Settings menu. I did not try renaming one of the default popups that is included as a tab by default in my previous post but I just tried it now and see it doesn't work because the default ones get loaded back into the \Config folder.

If you are renaming a default popup you need to then edit the HUD Settings > Main Popup / Table HUD menu to remove the original/default popup and replace it with the renamed one. In the example image below I renamed 'Preflop.pop' to 'pre.pop' and added 'pre' to the Visible tabs and then I just have to remove the 'Preflop' tab.

I already have MSE and Windows Defender off , i now added all the exceptions from the list to both windows firewall and MSE, i have all the necessary programs running as admin.
The 10 sec hud freezes have almost stopped, but still some from time to time, lets say once/twice and hour. Any more suggestions?

It's hard to say without seeing a log file but I can give you a few other general links and things to try:

Please check these 2 FAQs and try all the steps there to see if they help:
- http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...%28Firewall%29 - Resolves issues where security software continually try to scan files and processes which can slow down your PC
- http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...rts+%26+HUD%29 - General tips and solutions for performance issues

A few other things you could try to see if it helps when playing:
- Does it help you disable the Options > Settings > General Settings > Miscellaneous > [ ] 'Automatically Refresh' option and restart HM2?
- Try leaving HM2 on the 'Home' tab when playing.
- Try picking a villain in the reports that only has a few hands in your database instead of your hero and restart HM2.
- Try creating a new smaller database with just hands from the past 1 or 2 months to use when playing - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...y+played+hands
If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and zip/attach your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing. Email this file to hm2support@holdemmanager.com with a link to this thread and your forum name.

Reinstalling HM2 is a bit drastic and generally not needed to fix most problems.

Please reproduce the problem and:
- Use the tool in the following link to send a HUD Report - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...Reporting+Tool
- Attach a screen shot of the table/desktop
- Try to include the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock and poker client lobby clock in the screen shot
- Save a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue
- Close HM2 and zip/attach your \HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ger+Support%3F

Definitely a noob question but didn't know where else to post it..

So my hard drive on my laptop died in the arse last night & I've found out I can run Holdem Manager 2 on up to 2 PC's, so when I get a new laptop I will load her up again but the question I have is: have lost my hand histories? Is there anyway to get them back?I'm guessing that they're gone for good, but I just wanted to make sure...
Cheers
