Would it be possible to add a way to feed hands into the hand replayer? For example if I randomly select hands and want to put them together to watch.

Also, the vs player feature still seems a little off. The hands shown sometimes either don't correspond with the filter or some don't get brought up. I think this could be a great feature once its finished.

Also, I think the select player filter in the reports tab could be improved. It calls up all hands for when both players are at the table instead of all hands that are played together. If I wanted to be able to see how often someone is 3betting me in a certain position, I would have to pretty much go through all the hands manually. Unless I am not using this feature correctly.

Hello

Let me say first of all thank you for your effort and support.

After I installed the last update (hmupdate80b.exe) whenever I run HoldemManager I get a .NET Framework error:

Unhandled exception has ocurred in your application. If you click Continua, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close inmediately.

Roy-

Great program..will def. purchase.

Since my database of hands is relatively small and I play at the micros/small stakes for the most part .It would be great if when one hovers over the PF stat or the VPIP stat..instead or in addition to getting the detailed view one could hover of the stat and actually see which hands villain raises, limps, C-bets, goes to showdown. etc...(I suppose this would have to be tied to WTSD stats)

For example villain is 32/4/2 over a sample of 50 hands or so.."Actual Hands raised" might look like this..PF=(TT, KK, QTs)-3...of the 9 cards that were raised ..three (3) went to showdown and these were them.

I hope that makes sense...

I basically do this now..to work on hand ranges and reading hands a little better..and it's really helpful..it's just a bit time consuming..Obv. the bigger the sample size the more accurate..but, even with just a few stats..you get a better sense of what your opponent is capable of.

P.S. Pls accept "stars transfer" when good to go..

thanks fozzy-

Instarange is based on estimates right?? if PF = 3 then it shows top 3% percent of hands..

I think, if possible, "actual" hands will allow one to deduce a PF raising range with more accuracy than just the # stat.

Sorry if this has been asked for before...

Feature request that I would kill for...

The ability to create "composite players" to run a query against. What I mean is when I choose a player under the Change option, I'd like to be able to choose someone who is all 25-30 VPIP and 10-15 PFR players combined into one. I could then see what a "average" 25/10 player plays in situations that don't come up often enough for a query against any one individual player to yield meaningful data.

Did I make any sense?

Oh, also, there should be a way to remove players from the player list (in the Change option to get different screen names). I would like to look at other players' hands but I don't want my 'Change' list to extend past the bottom of my monitor. Does that make sense? Maybe right click on their name and have an option to remove the name or something.

wow, i haven't looked up that many ppl to know about that.

another option could be to keep the 15 or so most recently looked up names if you're too lazy to constantly delete ppl off.

Yeah, I dunno if there's a limit or not as I've only looked up a couple, but I would like to look up a lot more I just don't want to crowd my list up.

I think that is the problem - make sure you point the update at the right folder.

Well there are a few problems with doing this - often you'll be getting very biased and unreliable information. I think you are better off using notes.

Unfortunately this won't be an option - they don't allow it at all.

Much more of this type of thing is planned but right now it isn't easy to do since the alias system form isn't meant for mass updating / creation.

I'll get this taken care of - by the way, the list is sorted by # views so the more you look at someone the higher the will be. I will combine this concept with recent views.

0.81b is available at www.rvgsoftware.com/hm/hmupdate.exe

0.80b expires on the 19th

Note: It no longer auto launches HM after updating

I think I'll have OnGame done this weekend along with UB and Prima improvements and a bunch of other things.

January 17th - 0.81b
* The # Pots drop down in Table Preferences is now a drop down list without editing enabled. Previously you could type in a value here and it would cause your prefs file to reset.
* Fixed Party bug with player joining table late and posting blind on full table
* Removed the graph from the sessions tab and replaced with a hand view. Clicking on a session shows hands from that session
* In known preflop cards tab there is now a % underneath each list showing % of shown cards in the range of AKo,AKs,QQ,KK,AA so you can quickly see premium hand % in each list. As noted on the tab, this should be used only as a rough guide since it only lists known hole cards.
* Widened the preflop cards tab lists for people where the scrollbar would overwrite some of the text
* Adding notes in the Active Players Popup Detail would make it look like each note was being added to every player. This is now fixed.
* The Hands view in the bottom panel of many tabs now has the option to select Last 100, Last 500 or All hands instead of always defaulting to the last 100.
* Fixed stack size report for tourneys
* Fixed Prima import issue when there are multiple all-ins and side pots and Prima does not include the returned bet amount
* Fixed Crypto importing issue if you have $0,00 syntax in the hand history
* Fixed UB importing issue with blind + dead blind posters where HH does not show the big blind amount posted
* Fixed UB importing issue with players posting late and not being included in the Seating list
* Grapha tab now has an option panel where a lot of new graphing options will be placed
* In the vs Players tab you can now set the min #bb's won or lost to the opponent for a hand to show up after selecting that opponent. Previously it defaulted to 10 bbs

A few things that i have noticed in the reports. My fold to river bet is about half of what it is in PT, so i don't think it is calculating correctly. Also, the river bet number is showing 0, which cannot possibly be correct. I think you have the Agression factor and agression frequency reversed.

I love the program, but one thing i would really like to see is the betting actions for each player put in the hud. When multitabling, it would be really helpful to see each players actions, without having to look in the chatbox.

Hi rvg!

Perhaps you are already aware of this, but it seems that adding any of the "Bet Vs missed CB"-stats to a HUD-popup causes the HUD to crash when hovering the stat you assigned it to. I play on Party Poker, if it matters.

So, i imported last day, and am still importing large sums of hands, and when i go to the player tab und would like to see, how many hands total i got (set the min hands to 1) i get following error:

Quote:
An error occurred: An Item with the same key has already been added.
I get this error everytime with low min hand requirements, with something like 10 there is no problem. Could be the list too much? I have about 13k players in my database, 10k with more than 10 Hands, so another 3k with less than 10 hands, who would be added to the list. Is this too much for HM?

I am running a newer pc, dual core and 2gig of ram..

But I have some problems with the HUD. Playing at Pokerstars, the stats are always a complete mess. The HUD always assigns the stats to the wrong players and often stat-boxes are overlapping.
So usually, I'm busy for 10 minutes dragging everything to its place.

Quote:
You should only need to do this once... do it for one table then close the HUD and re-open and you should find that it used your saved settings.
I'm afraid this doesn't solve the problem with me. The HUD keeps assigning the stats to the wrong players and sometimes putting a couple of statboxes over eachother.

I opened one table, dragged the stats in its place, closed the hud and relaunched it together with my other tables. Still a mess....

Ladbrokes hand are importing strangely.

In the reports it says I have played 2000 hands. When picking my own player name from the list of names it says I've played 990000 hands. Ehm. I don't know what the true number is, but I'd bet it's far closer to 2000.

Other than that I don't know if they are importing correctly. I hope they are.

As has come up before:
-Can you please add rake to the standardizedhandhistories

I only have IPoker hands in my database. They are formatted well. I don't know if you have fixed the formatting of other sites yet. These are prior issues:
-A raise at FT from 5 to 10 has Amount="10" when Amount="5" would be better and is what IPoker has.
-At some site money returned are labeled as Action="Wins"

If these aren't fixed please fix them! If you're interested I think I have found some other bugs and inconsistencies. But I don't have them on the top of my head.

Thanks for reading this and replying.

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

Any ideas about this?

I guess I should add this.

I'm in the sessions tab, have it set to show my hands for today.
if I right click on a hand, it give me the options to "replay hand", "replay selected hands", "replay all hands"
If I choose repolay all hands. it gives me that error above.
If I choose replay selected hands, or just replay hand. absolutely nothing happens...

also, on a side note, if I just 4 tabled for 2 hrs, can the replayer replay all 4 of those tables side by side, in "realtime" just how they played out originally ??

Thanks
