Had to fix a few UB bugs - changes are done, just doing final testing now so should be up within 10 minutes or so.

ok, version 0.76b is up now.

www.holdemmanager.net

If you imported UB hands with 0.75 then launch the new version and look under the Help menu for "Fix Ultimate Bet Importer Issue". Do this first and it will go and udpate all of your previous hands that seemed to import ok but can't be seen properly by HM. This could take a few minutes and it will close HM when it is done.

Then relaunch and reimport and you should see much better results. There is a known import issue if a player joins the table late and posts without being seated in the HH but that will be corrected.

Tested HM in Ladbrokes (v0.74) few observations.

PT found 709 hands and HM only 491 big difference!

several times when player left table and other player joined hud kept showing stats for that first player and when that second player left and third came to that spot then hud showed stats for that third player. So stats for that second played were never to be seen.

Several times hud somehow moved my stats on top of other player stats.

Showdown cards for hud were all over place and coun't move them

Still have some issues with prima .DAT files that cause it to stop auto importing which leads to some of those other things you saw. I'll be trying to get that working good in the next couple of days.

Are there plans to add a floater option to the graph, similar to PokerGrapher, where you would have the option to display things like # of days played, limits played, and an exact number for winnings (split into bonus & actual winnings) and exact number of hands played?

Hi RVG,

On my report Tab under Cash Games everything works fine except when i try to filter by "Between"

Whenever i do this it just displays the last screen and dosent change at all

If i fliter by Today, After, Before etc they all work fine but the between filter just does nothing

Is this a known Issue

Otherwise i have to say this blows PT out of the water and i have completely switched now from PT to Holdem and never plan to go back

Crazy, I just tried the same thing- I wanted to see my FTP hands from last year, 1/1 - 12/31, and it wouldn't work.

I found a quick work around for the HUD. I went into the HUD Data folder and deleted all of the .dat and .hh files, for some reason it wasn't deleting old files, so when I would try to get info on new tables it would get stuck on the old missing tables.

Just a question about what parts of the computer make the most difference with the performance of HM. I'm looking at buying a new computer shortly and what should I look for to make HM run the best?

example: Hard Drive: is it worth it to spend extra to get Raptor's instead of regular?? Memory: is 4GB enough? any diff going to 8GB?? Which other parts?

Thanks

Hi Roy...

Roundtower posted this intriguing thought recently on the Irish forum boards.ie.

"Surely there is some automatic software that can display the guys Sharkscope stats as a HUD. Assuming Sharkscope doesn't have bot checks and such, it would not be technically difficult, and it would be useful. Therefore it exists."

It's also a delicious notion, stealing information from an information thief.

Thoughts?

Also: All of this clearly vital early-stage techno-babble here is making my head spin and I know I am not alone. What do you have in mind to tutor us normals in the practical uses of all these fresh applications? Are you focusing on a few new wrinkles for marketing purposes to the poker world at large? Are you drafting a practical guidebook as you go along? Have you enlisted a confederate to do something like this? Or are you leaving all this sorting out to the first generation of users? (I expect some fresh ideas and altered strategies will emerge simply because data will be revealed in entirely new ways...)

hi roy (or any one else that can help!)

just wondering if you know if the rake calculations for full tilt are accurate for working out RB?

Has anyone who has been using hold'em manager a lot found that the rake is accurate/out etc?

thanks fro your help

hi rvg

is it possible to use HM to filter stats based on flop "types" (inc number of flop high cards/ number of flop connected cards/ highest card on flop/ flop tone etc), and create stats specifically for certain flop types?

thanks

Can anyone direct me to a page in this thread that goes into detail on stats and what they mean particularly i want stats that show me how often someone is going to showdown after they raise and if they do go to showdown how often with the best hand. I know i can do a report but i was hoping for an ingame stat that i can check in the HUD or the player information window. Something like the PAHUD stat won showdown when raised flop and won showdown when raised turn. Theres so many pages it would take so long to find so before i go to that extremes does anyone have the pages that explains stats stickied?

Also maybe my computer but since i installed the last update my Holdem Manager window is very laggy, the table manager and player information window along with all my other programs have no lag but when i click on the Holdem Manager window its so laggy it displays it like a gallery display with visual effects as in a vertical paint brush moves across from left to right making a small portion of the window appear and it does this about 10 times until the whole window eventually appears. Was working fine 2 minutes before i downloaded the new update and ive done restarts since with no change. It get less laggy when i close everything else down but its still a small bit laggy

I have 2 2.6ghz 1.5gb ram running windows xp sp2 and as i said nothing else lags at the same time?

Ive noticed mine on ipoker are calculating to roughly twice, maybe a bit less, the amount it normally should for the amount of hands ive played, id be interested to hear if the rake calcs are accurate as i suspect their not although i hope they are.

hi rvg.

i just signed up for FTP and am having problems with the HUD. It correctly saves the location of where i set it to, but the names are wrong. For example player A will be on the bottom instead of the top and player B will be on the right side instead of somewhere else.

Yes, definitely more graphing options coming and this is one of them

Fixed in 0.77

It sounds like postgres might not be running - go into control panel - administrative - services and find postgres. Right click and select start service.

Hard drive speed is probably most important and 4GB is likely more than enough. You can run HM on a much lower spec pc and it will still run very well.

I won't be doing any site scraping unless it is with the sites consent and they can't provide a better way to get the information.

Guide and Help are being worked on - there is a lot to take in so I'll do what I can to make the transition as easy as possible.

Yes - I haven't exposed the filters for those yet but they are there

www.holdemmanager.net

One more big fix for UB and big improvement for Prima DAT files.

January 6th - 0.77b
* Fixed bug that caused UB hands played in January to fail to import
* A bunch of big improvements to the handling of Prima DAT files during auto import
* If your prefs.tx file becomes corrupted or contains bad data instead of causing HM to immediately shutdown you are now prompted and a new default file is created.
* "Between" Date Range filter now works
* The preflop cards tab in the player details window now uses the player and date range filters - previously it returned all of them regardless of filter

Just getting used to this program and it looks VERY good. Especially the HUD is a charm.

Do you have an ETA on when the iPoker hands exported from PT will be able to import properly in HM ?

Another issue - when I do a Winnings Summary report, I get two different categories, 6-max and heads-up, for each level. These hands were all played on 6-max tables, but the heads-up hands just happened as a table was closing down. Is there a way to fix this so that they are lumped together into one level under 6-max? These hands were played on Stars, if that helps.

I am having trouble getting the All Players alias to work. Should it be working now? If not, is there an easier way to get all players into one aliases without
doing it manually?

Thanks.
