Having trouble purging hands atm. I played about 5 hands of play money (to fiddle with the hud as I'm trialling atm) which have been loaded into my db, however when I go to Options > Purge Hands, I ticked the applicable checkboxes, yet I get a message saying 0 hands deleted Purging Complete. Those 5 hands still stay there. Any advice?

Thanks for the response, but I don't understand. How can you cbet in a pot that isn't raised?

I still have no idea what the difference between the two is.

You need to vote it up, on the uservoice site. I need to register and vote for it as well. I cant help but check my session progress every 5 or 10 minutes now.

I've got a short list of bugbears that have been present in HEM a long time. I guess they're not technically "bugs" in that they don't break functionality, but neither are they feature requests in that i consider them "expected" behaviour that i would love to see implemented.

Not sure where best to report these - here, uservoice, on your forums, so i'll stick them here. fwiw these have been reported way back in the past but haven't yet been looked at, and it would be awesome if some could be looked in to before the next big release:

- The sorting in columns by "level" when in BBs is a string-based, not numerical sort. Thus is goes bb10, bb 200, b 20, bb 300, bb 30 etc.

- Sorting by a column when limited to 100/500 hands sorts by the visible hands - not the full dataset. For example, say i played 2k hands today. I have the set filtered to "today", and the top 100 hands are shown. If i sort by a column (say bb won), i expect to view the top 100 hands where i won the most money. However what it actually does is sort the "top 100" hands by money won/lost. It's even odder if you then sort by date/time - you actually sort to most recent 100 hands in reverse date format. Kinda unexpected imo.

- No way to bring up the player details box unless you are in-game, or find him in the "players" tab. A search feature would be very nice here.

- Player icons can only be edited from the HUD - not even from the player details box, or right clicking on a player in the players list.

Combining these last 2 issues, right now say i want to view my notes on a reg or view his stats. Or even view my stats. Right now the quickest way i've found to do this is:

Switch the player in the filter > load up any hand in the replayer > turn on the HUD > click on the note or go to player details. Quite a long process for such a simple task!

- No way to locate a tournament by ID. Viewing hands in a tournament default to descending date/time sort - i find ascender date/time sort much more useful as default (replay the hands in order).

- No way to filter/search for a hand based on tournament ID, table name, table ID, or hand ID. i may be viewing a hand in another program (sng wizard, popopop, a raw HH, a video recording i made, etc etc) and there's no easy way to locate it. i have to mess around setting "before/after" date in the filter.

As I've mentioned before in this thread, this is also one of the leaks I'm trying hard to combat.

However, until I have a working stop/loss-alert going, I think I might prefer to have this quick and easy way of checking where I'm at. I only play 4 tables though, so I usually have a reasonable idea of how things are going anyway.

Also, I don't really like to have to use the uservoice-site for small details like this - It's fine for the bigger projects and issues, but it seem a bit of a waste for stuff like this.

I've tried to get that going so many times already I solved some of the issues I were having thanks to help from _dave_ but still couldn't get it to work.

I'm actually resonably good with computers but that one has me stumped - I'll give it another try sometime soon though. Thanks for the links

I have my HUD up, and every time a table pops up in front of the one I was on before, the HUD stats from the previous table stays. They also stay if I switch windows without minimizing by click on the tab (like if I just click on the browser in the background. How do I fix this?

Thanks.

Can you load the Hands in the Hands TAB in HM, then right click one of the hands in the bottom pane and choose delete all hands from list

Can you post on the HM support forum with a summary of all you tried, very hard to find all the other threads espcially when there a day or 2 between replies so ive no idea of what i already asked you, what youve tried or even what the original error was.

I need help using HEM to match the MGR my affiliate reports with what HEM reports. The numbers aren't even close. The site(AP) does not use dealt rake. It uses average contributed. The affiliates MGR is way below HEM's. For those who arent aware of avg. contributed I've included a definition below. Is there a custom stat or a way of filtering to get an accurate number?? If not, I'm going to have to see if PT3 can do this.

Average Contributed:
Similar to the dealt cards method as above in terms of the calculation, but you must contribute at least something to the pot. If you fold without contributing to the pot then your rake consideration is zero. If for example the pot on a particular table was $60 the rake taken is $3. Even if you contributed only $2 to the pot and there are six of you playing (but two folded pre-flop) then you get allocated a quarter of the rake as 4 people in total contributed to the pot.
Examples: UltimateBet, Betfair, Absolute

When I open HEM, the import tab has all the buttons (ie. Import File(s), Import From Folder) greyed out, except for Stop Import (but I haven't even clicked Start Auto-Import yet). When I click Stop Import, nothing happens. I never had this problem before. None of my hands are importing, and I don't know what to do.

For this to happen, the query that returns just 100 hands, or 500 hands, would have to re-run every time you click a column heading to sort. Defeats the point of only returning the top 100 or 500 hands imo.

ugh, getting another error now.

"Connection establishment timeout. Increase Timeout value in ConnectionString."

HEM froze on me so I closed it, and this is what I get when I tried to open it again. Then another window pops up telling me I need to disable user account control, but I already have it disabled, and the message concludes by saying I need to disable it to properly install postgre, and obv I have it installed

any ideas?

Hi

I have the trial version of HEM to see how it goes. I now have it set up, but the HUD doesnt seem to work. When I play on PS there are no stats at all.
What is the problem? Maybe I first need to play enough hands to get enough data or?

Any help is very much appreciated.
Thanks

This is usually to do with either firewall/antivirus blocking HM, can you completely uninstall them and reboot and see if the problem persists. Also try updating to the newest version of HM

HM currently only calculates based on dealt, it will in a future update have more options to suit the other sites methods of calculating rake.

You are correct but the query isn't really the thing that takes a lot time. It's populating the list. The "limit 500" etc is there because some queries return thousands or more of hands that takes ages to parse and put in a listview. The database query itself (with the sql LIMIT 100, or LIMIT 500) is super-fast in comparison.

What i mean is this. Say i want to list the top 100 biggest losing hand of today. It can't be done. IMO filter TODAY + top 100 + sort by bb column is the expected behaviour.
