Both of these would be in the 'Bet vs Missed CBet' category of the HM2 - HUD Settings - 'HUD Designer' stat picker.

No, not that I am aware of. HM3 doesn't have a custom stats feature, those can only be created within NoteCaddy (which is in free beta testing). Custom filters can be created and saved in HM3 but they can not be exported/imported yet.

Close your poker clients, close HM3 and right-click - 'Exit' the HM3 Server icon in the Windows Notification Tray.

Open C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Roaming\Max Value Software\Holdem Manager\3.0\Config and delete CurrentUserToken.txt file if you see the file. If you can't see the folder, turn off the windows option that is hiding that directory.

If that does not help, this is most likely related to your computer's daylight savings time settings and/or it's date/time number format settings.

Right-click your computer clock. Go to adjust date/time. Sync to the internet.

a) Make sure windows is fully updated until 'No New Important Updates are Found' (this may require multiple restarts and multiple 'check for updates'), including Internet Explorer (even if you use a different web browser).

Make sure that Daylight Savings Time is enabled if you live in a place that observes DST.

b) If you continue to have problems:

You need to make sure your Time/Number Format is set the same as in this linked image - https://www.dropbox.com/s/l2nqb7mbib...tefix.png?dl=0

- You can get to these settings by searching your computer from the Windows Start menu icon like this - https://www.dropbox.com/s/9sflpadlu7...earch.png?dl=0
- Click the Related Settings - 'Additional date, time & regional settings - https://www.dropbox.com/s/cxaxa3kwks...ional.png?dl=0
- Click the Region - 'Change date, time or number formats - https://www.dropbox.com/s/nz6odydty5...hange.png?dl=0
- And finally click the Region - Formats - 'Additional settings...' button - https://www.dropbox.com/s/p6z129u7xv...ange2.png?dl=0
- Also make sure that Daylight Savings Time is still enabled - https://superuser.com/questions/1053...orking/1053289

Once that is done please close your poker clients, close HM3 and right-click - 'Exit' the HM3 Server icon in the Windows Notification Tray and try to launch HM3 and login again.

c) Delete the C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Max Value Software\Holdem Manager\3.0\HoldemManager3.lic file

You will need to show system and hidden files. See this tutorial for showing system and hidden files.

If none of that helps:

Please create a support ticket with a link to this thread and your forum username.

Please reproduce the problem and attach a screenshot of this page - http://www.timebie.com/std/utc.php

Please duplicate the issue and send us log files with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing:
- Open Windows Event Viewer's (Control Panel - System & Security - Administrative Tools or Start - Search - 'Event Viewer') - Windows Logs - Applications.
- Check for any errors and send the information (Save All Events As...).

- Close HM3 and the Holdem Manager Server icon in the system tray.
- If it is not running or fully launched please open your Windows Task Manager and right-click - End Task on 'Holdem Manager 3', 'HM3 HUD' and 'HoldemManager.Server' if you see them.
- Click Start (Windows Icon) - Holdem Manager 3 - 'Copy HM3 Log Files to Desktop'
- Then zip and attach all (Ctrl+A - Right-Click - Send to - Compressed (zipped) folder) files in that folder to a support ticket. Here is a direct link to your My Tickets page.
-*If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like or dropbox, then right-click - 'copy dropbox link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket email. *If you have any problems with dropbox please try using google drive instead.

HI, I recently posted in another thread for help setting up my Grosvenor poker account on HEM3. It uses Ipoker software.

I have followed all the FAQ on the help pages and still having trouble. My settings are all correct but HEM3 is still not finding the folder where it is stored. I can also not find the folder anywhere although like I say it is saying it is being stored in my account settings on ipoker.

I have also chatted with support at ipoker who could not help. Can you help?

Thanks

The default IPoker hand history folder location is: C:\Users\YOUR_PC_NAME\AppData\Local\POKER_SITE_SKI N_NAME\data\POKER_SITE_SCREEN_NAME\History\Data

Hi,

I have checked all the boxes that hide and unhide files in my settings and still no luck. All my settings are set correctly on the poker client too. I'm clueless as to how to fix this problem???

I've tried hundreds of searches including the one you suggested but it still does not find the folder?

I know this doesn't seem like a HEM3 problem but hoping you can help?

I have a question about most suitable SSDs for work with HM3 + big databases (5-10 million hands+).

My current SSD is only 256GB and Sata3 and I plan to upgrade to 1 TB drive as soon as possible.
Which specifications/benchmarks are most important for fastest/best work with HM3?

My current motherboard has an M.2 slot so M.2 NVMe drives? Which numbers would be most important?

1) Sequential read/write?
2) Random read/write IOPS?
3) 4k random read/write?
4) Some other numbers I do not know about?

I really do not know much about hardware, just quickly googled some SSD comparison tests.

NVMe M.2 MLC SSD is preferred according to one of our current remote support techs. Try to avoid TLC or QLC, and Samsung MLC 3-Bit which is actually/technically TLC.

All of those 3 numbers you asked about being high are important, but read speed is more important than write speed from what I recall and found searching our forums in regards to HM2. HM3 uses a different database engine but the same things should apply that I found in this post/thread.

I don't really know much about hardware myself so I am not aware of any other numbers to look for as I just rely on the others on our teams, and from our past in the forums.

You can't find any folders searching Grosvenor or your site screen name? Did you try just browsing Windows File Explorer manually, instead of searching, to the path I mentioned?

Check C:\Program Files\. If Grosvenor got installed there, instead of AppData\Local, it could be preventing hand history files from being written. Ipoker hand histories are written in *.xml format so try searching Windows File Explorer for those types of files to see if you can find some actual hand history files that you have played so far.

If you continue to have problems finding/searching for *.xml files of hands after playing an orbit of micro stakes cash then I would try reinstalling the Grosvenor client and make sure of where it gets installed.

Hi Holdem Manager Support, thanks for all your help!

I have a quick question: I am importing hand histories from Hand2Note to Holdem Manager.

In HM2 it shows all hands are errors, none were imported.

In HM3 hands were imported successfully, but "net won" is still shown as zero.

How do I fix this? I prefer to import these hands to HM2 if possible.

Did you export those hands from H2N? You need to find the original hands that H2N auto imported and archived, then import the archived files to HM2/3 for the best results.

If you continue to have problems:

Please zip and email the original problem hand histories and tournament summaries to us as instructed at the bottom of this FAQ. Make sure you also include screenshots of your reports/filters and a detailed description by tournament number, session, hole cards, filter, stat, etc. of some of the errors we need to test.

Thank you Fozzy, I finally found the folder after uninstalling the client. All sorted now and HUD working. Phew.

If I'd only followed the folder you had posted instead of searching I would have found it without losing all the old data. Doh!!!

Much appreciated and sorry for being a pain.

We do not make HM2/3 popups for customers. That is something you need to do yourself using the HM2 - HUD Settings - 'Popup Designer' or HM3 - HUD - HUD Editor - 'Popup Groups' tab. If you want to try and find someone else to do it for you then you should try posting in the general 'Software' forum instead and perhaps another 2+2'er can do that for you.

So far only MLC M.2 NVMe 1TB SSD I found is Samsung 1TB 970 PRO M.2 NVMe and it is ~350 USD where I live.

And then there is Samsung 1TB 970 EVO Plus M.2 NVMe which is ~ 240 USD but TLC drive.

However I looked some videos and sites of benchmarks and EVO looks bit faster.

Bit confused now, so just ignore those benchmarks as real world usage is different then benchmarks and Pro which is MLC is clearly better in real world use for work with HM3? Or maybe there is some different SSD models which I haven't found?

Thanks for help. Do not mind to wait answer bit longer if you need to contact tech support.

This is because you have 'auto-center' enabled for preferred seating. Once you play a hand and that hand gets imported the HUD will align properly. The only way for it to be aligned before you play a hand is to disable the auto-center option in the PokerStars settings and configure the HM3 - Tools - Site Settings... - PokerStars - 'My Seat' tab to 'None (Use Hand History seat)'.

I would not worry too much about the MLC vs TLC thing if it is cost prohibitive, and just focus on performance. I would just get the largest and best performing drive you can afford and make sure you move the pagefile to be on your secondary storage HDD drive instead of the SSD to reduce the number of reads/writes.

For a bit of real world HM3 reference: I have an Intel SSD 600p Series 512GB, M.2 80mm PCIe 3.0 x4, 3D1, TLC drive that came in my CyberPower desktop that I bought in April 2017. The first 3 years I kept the pagefile.sys on the SSD but one of our remote support techs suggested back in June that I should move it to my HDD instead to help the longevity of my SSD drive by reducing the number of reads/writes. I don't play much live poker these days (only when testing HM2/3, 3.3k hands this year) but I have manually imported multiple millions of hands to HM2, HM3 and PT4 over the past 3.5 years for performance and bug testing on this machine and the health is still good according to the two SSD monitoring tools I use.

Here is a manual import I just ran of my HM2 Archive \2010 folder of 32k hands:

Thanks Fozzy a lot for the detailed answer and suggestion for pagefile.

Cost between those drives I posted isn't any issue, it just doesn't make sense for me to pay more for the PRO version if in benchmarks EVO PLUS is even a bit faster.
If the only difference between MLC vs TLC is longevity and not in performance then I think it is safe to buy TLC.
I probably will import databases/hands a bit more than the average HM3 user but not extremely often.

Thanks for helping Fozzy!

Yes, HM3 supports WPN Blitz HUD. There is a known bug where the HM3 HUD is not working on NL200 Blitz that we are investigating, but it should work on the rest of the Blitz tables. There is a 15 day free trial for HM3 so you can test it, and a 15 day refund period if you purchase HM3.

If you already own HM2:

By purchasing HM2 you can upgrade to HM3 with a 25% discount before October 15th 2020. To use the discount please login to your HM account on our website and add the available discounted upgrade option to the cart and complete the purchase. You can see our upgrade policy FAQ here. And our HM3 Annual Support & Maintenance policy FAQ here. Important: The Annual Support & Maintenance is FREE for the first year with the purchase or upgrade.

Note: All development of new features, tools and game type support will be focused on HM3. We will continue to support HM2 for bug fixes and parser updates until an end of life (“EOL”) date of December 31, 2020. See this FAQ for more information.

Im getting a new 1tb nvme ssd for my laptop. Old ssd is a 2.5 inch 250gb samsung sata drive that is 7 years old but very functionally but running out of space. I will take it out and put a nvme ssd in my laptop.

I will also clone my old ssd into my new one as well so everything from my hem2 database would be in it.

My current laptop dell xps 15 9550 works fine still though its many years old.

Specs are

i5-6300hq
8gb ram

Now im going to get a new ssd and it will be a nvme one. Is the samsung 970 evo a good choice for it? I read about sk hynix ssd and how thats very good as well but like a new nvme. I read its much more power efficient as in using less power and that is good. Do you have thoughts on that?

Also i plan to use hem2 until i can't and then use hem3. I am going to upgrade my ram from 8gb to 16gb. Now... i read hem3 uses lot more ram than hem2? Or more power? So would you suggest me upgrade my ram from 8gb to 32gb instead or that is unnecessary? I like to play between 12-20 tables without lag. Currently i play like
up to 18 tables with my current machine with hem2 and starscaption/888caption etc... without much of a lag on my current machine with an old sata ssd and 8gb ram.

I know i can't upgrade my cpu but is my ssd upgrade for samsung 970 evo the best choice? And what about ram? I always read 32gb ram is unnecessary for almost everybody. Besides many tables and having hem2 or hem3 and starscaption/888caption on... i will have lot of chrome tabs opened and playing music on youtube chrome though. So do i need 32gb ram? My laptop i got since late 2016 but i want to use this laptop for many more years... thats why im getting 1tb ssd.
