I have weird lag with HM2 after recent win10 update.
Minimize, maximize, close buttons are visually gone but they function if I press at the place where they should be. No other applications affected as far I have checked.
Win10 Pro, Version 1809, Build 17763.253
HM2: 2.0.0.8546

This issue has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve. I think it is actually more of a Windows issue than HM2 as I have personally seen it also happen to my Windows Movies media player.

The assigned internal issue # on this issue is HM-8983

If you want to be notified when it is fixed please send an email via the 'Contact Support' link and include "Notify Me When HM-8983 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

Note: That is an RU thread so you may have to use Chrome and right-click - 'Translate to English' or your native language. The person that wrote that post is actually Slovenian but I think he had one of our RU techs translate the post before posting it. He is also our QA/Testing Manager and resident stats expert.

You can also do some basic google searches for this, or any other, stat you want to learn more about like this. The first link should be a good starting place but google usually does a good job with the first page results if you search properly.

HEM3 question:

- I am looking for a stat called "river bet won%" or something similar. It is supposed to be in HEM2 but I cannot find it in HEM3. I found River Call Win % so far.

- How exactly do we interpret the stat called "River Bet Efficiency" and "River Bet Efficiency BB"? So "River Bet Efficiency" describes the average return per 1 USD invested on the river. So if it's 10, it pretty much means everytime we bet 100 USD by the river we won 1000? So it includes all the folds we are getting as well, right?

- Is there a stat such as "Won when betting river without showdown" and "Got Called if triple barrrel"?

This stat does not exist in HM3 and I don't see it in HM2 either. We will start taking suggestions again for new HM3 stats after HM3 is officially released.

This is a new stat for HM3. Here is a post by our QA/Testing Manager on how the River Call Efficiency (RCE) stat works. The RBE stat works similarly.

It appears the RBE and RCE stats both may have the decimal place shifted 3 places too far to the right in HM3. My HM2 DB shows an RCE of 1.64 while HM3 shows it as 1,173.55. I think the HM3 stat should be 1.17 to be accurate but that would still be significantly different than HM2 for the same sample. I let our QA/Testing Manager know about these issues so he can investigate what is going on exactly.

Ok so I am looking at stats through two filter: one of them is the preset defend Big Blind filter. The other one I am using "cold call" where hero is "BB". Can you tell me the difference between these two?

So it looks like my friend is using PT and not HEM and the stat exists. As HEM and PT are basically the same company now and HEM3 looks like a mix of both, are there any plans to merge the stats from both apps?

Are there any plans to add stats to HEM3 or maybe even do that ourselves, the H2N way?

If you run those 2 filters on a small (1k or so) hand sample like I did and compare/replay the results it should be fairly easy to see. The Defend Big Blind filter is going to return hands where you were in the BB and faced a late position steal, since you can only 'defend' (call or raise) against a steal. This will include cold calls and raises/3Bets as well. The filter combo of Did Cold Call = Try + Hero in BB is going to only show hands where you cold called (not defended) from the big blind against opens from any position, not just late position steals.

No, we have no plans to put all of PT4's stats into HM3. We will be taking new stat requests after the official release like we did with HM2, and add in new popular stats as necessary. HM3, unlike HM2, is able to use any of it's stats in any report or any HUD where it is logical for that stat to be used as long as it can function correctly. This will make new stats much easier to add than in HM2 where the list of new HUD stats quickly outpaced the list of report stats.

There will not be any custom stat feature for the reports or HUD directly in HM2. New HM3 report/HUD stats can only be hard coded by our developers, and Custom HUD stats for HM3 will only be possible via NoteCaddy Premium when it is eventually available.

I have two stars accounts (one in ps.es and one in ps.eu), and I think because of this my PKO tournaments got their reports on winnings wrong. So Im not really sure how it really works, but if I get a bit more deeper into PKO tournaments my winnings reported by HM2 skyrockets for some reason.

I was offered to reinstall/try different DB, as they said it might be DB corruption, but It doesnt help.

I tried the following:
1. completely reinstall HM2 (also includes windows reinstall)
2. create different database with less hands

Does HEM2 have support for 6 plus Hold'em on Stars?

I've played about 50 hands but only 2 have been saved and they've saved as Hold'em Cap.

No, HM2/3 do not officially support 6+ holdem at any site. If the hands do import it is not by design. I think HM2 also imports the WPN 6+ hands but the HUD doesn't work.

We have no plans to add support for 6+ to HM2. We are considering it for HM3 but management hasn't made a decision as to if or when it might be supported.

HM2 has known issues with progressive bounty/ko tournaments, even if you have the HH and TS files both. HM3 generally does better with these results but it could be a bit buggy as well. Please send your hands/screenshots as explained below and ask for the latest HM3 Beta update for testing.

Please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to us using the 'Contact Support' link. Please attach screen shots of your Tournaments report and explain in detail by tournament number about a few games that are incorrect results and what the proper results should be if you happen to know. We can then import the hands to hm2, hm3, pt4 and compare all those results to the raw text files.

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31) or if it was auto-imported with 7283+ it would be in \HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\MM\DD. It is configured in the Site Setup - Auto Import Folders menu.

When sending any files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then 'copy public link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket email.

I made some note definitions in a newer version of Notecaddy. I want to use them for Bovada hands (with all holecards) in Holdem Manager 8079, for database analysis. Is this possible? The definitions I made includes hand strength so I'm hoping that the notes I made tracks down non-showdown hands.

The note definitions do not work in HEM 8079's Notecaddy though, and when I try upgrading Notecaddy while keeping 8079, it crashes. Any way to make this work?

This isn't something I can answer as we don't provide technical support for the apps. The developer/team for the NC app handles these types of questions.

Please start a new thread on the NoteCaddy Forums on our site, or the NC Support Thread on this forum, with these questions and their support will be glad to assist you.

Make sure you always start HM2 first before you open the PokerStars Client. If you closed PokerStars for any reason and did not close HM2 please close them both and start HM2 before you start PokerStars again.

On the first run, you must start the Hold'em Manager 2 HUD BEFORE you launch PokerStars. If PokerStars is open, you must close PokerStars, start the HUD and then open PokerStars before Zoom HUD will function properly. If the Zoom HUD is not displaying after doing the above, please uninstall PokerStars, rename the associated C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\PokerStars.xx folders. and re-download and install PokerStars as the PokerStars installation is more than likely corrupted and a PokerStars reinstall should resolve the issue.

Please check all of the steps on this FAQ.

If you continue to have problems please tell us which ps.xx skin you play on, what the client/server version numbers are, and send the requested files/screenshots as instructed at the end of the Zoom setup FAQ in the link above.

Hi,

I will just start playing on Microgaming, and I'm not aware of the current situtation there with HM2.

For regular tables I guess it's just working as it should, you can get hand histories properly, therefore see HUD while playing without restriction.

But what's with anon tables right now? Can you see session stats during play, and see hand histories afterwards? Or no hand histories at all, and therefore no HUD of any kind during play?

Thanks.

All of the MPN limitations are listed on our FAQ for that network - https://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/que...gaming+-+Prima

There are too many to list here so please read that link. Their new 'Prima' software no longer writes any hand history files and is not supported at all.

OK, thanks for the quick reply.

Can you please just confirm that I understand it right, relating to cash games (I plan to use the old skin, not the new Prima).

1) No point in using HUD at all, on anon tables it's not possible, on normal tables it's technically possible, but as HM2 only sees part of the hands (those I actively contributed to), this means it would show highly distorted values, so in practice it's worthless.

2) For analysing hands afterwards, on anon it's not possible (no HHs at all), on normal tables it's possible, as I can at least see the hands I actively took part in...

Thanks.

Please update to the latest beta version - https://www.holdemmanager.com/Downlo...pdate_8564.exe

- After downloading, you should right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock.*
* If you do not see an 'unblock' option you can ignore this step.
- Then, right click the file and run as administrator.

Please see this - http://www.partypoker.com/blog/cash-game-changes.html

The HUD should work but it will show stats for Player 1, Player 2, etc instead of Player screen names. We updated HM2 to reset the stats at each new table to 'Session Stats' which uses the HUD Settings > General Settings > HUD Font > 'Alt Background' color so you will know they are session stats and not lifetime stats. If you do not want the HUD background to be red change the 'Alt background' color by clicking it with your left mouse button and using the color picker.

If you can't see the hands in the reports then the import may not be configured properly - https://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/que...01/Party+Poker

If none of that helps:

Please follow the instructions in this FAQ and reply back with the answers to the 12 questions in that FAQ. Those answers should help us quickly identify your issue, skipping questions will just mean we have to ask again in the next email and will delay the resolution of the issue.

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' and 'FastPoker' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu.

Please reproduce the problem and:
- Attach a screen shot of the table/desktop
- Try to include the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock and poker client lobby clock in the screen shot
- Save a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue
- Close HM2 and send your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

With all the above information we should be able to narrow down what is causing the issue. If all the information is not included we will need to email you again to request it.
