This is related to our recent server migration. You need to reinstall VC++ 2013.

Please update to the latest beta version - http://www.holdemmanager.com/downloa...ger_2_Beta.exe

- After downloading, you should right-click the file, go to properties and click unblock.*
* If you do not see an 'unblock' option you can ignore this step.
- Then, right click the file and run as administrator.

Install VC++ 2013 from this link - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/down....aspx?id=40784

_x64 is for 64 bit windows, _x86 is for 32 bit windows.

Please let us know if that solves the problem for you.

If you continue to have problems:

Please see this FAQ for help in resolving licensing issues:
http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...Holdem+Manager

If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and zip/attach your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...ger+Support%3F

Once you have collected/sent the logs roll back to 8536 from this link until we have a chance to review your logs - https://www.holdemmanager.com/Downlo...pdate_8536.exe

We have a partial fix for their new update on our forums here - https://forums.holdemmanager.com/sho...d.php?t=538881

Added cash and tournament HUD support for updated PartyPoker client (Nov 2018) (Fast forward tables are not yet supported. HUD on SNG Jackpot tables only works with table finder because of PartyPoker bug in table title)

If you continue to have problems with the HUD on regular tables after updating:

Please enable the Settings > Feature Logging > [x] 'HUDStats' and 'FastPoker' option and increase the Max number of log files option to 10 so old logs are saved with date/time stamps. You can also enable this before you launch HM2 from the Start Menu.

Please reproduce the problem and:
- Attach a screen shot of the table/desktop
- Try to include the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock and poker client lobby clock in the screen shot
- Save a copy of the original Hand history for the table with the issue
- Close HM2 and send your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

Hi Fozzy71,
I play from time to time some PLO Spins on PS, so wondering if $EV in the Tournaments tab is math correctly? HM2 8544

No, it is not correct in HM2. It isn't able to detect the multipliers. It assumes it is a default prize pool. HM3 Beta does somewhat better but it may not be 100% accurate either yet.

"It assumes it is a default prize pool" - do I understand that correctly - if I play $1 Spin NLHE/PLO $EV is math with only $2 prize pool even if it is sometimes bigger? Then I assume that $EV will always be smaller then the real one. Sometimes when I play $1 PLO Spin with x4 multiplier, my $EV is like $4.5 and it is not a real one - it can not be bigger then the actual prize imo. But if that is true then how HM2 maths with x2 multiplier, when my $EV is bigger then the actual prize? How can I do manually the math?
Very big than you and sorry if this is kind of stupid question but just do not understand it.

I don't really understand $EV very well myself. All I really know is what is in the developer ticket description: 'HM-8539 Stars Spin SNG: when EV calculating, HM considers prize = default, not multiplied'.

From what I see in the ticket details the $EV is generally lower than it should be. If you want to send us some specific hands we can test them in HM2/3 and PT4. I don't think the bug can be resolved in HM2 but it should be fairly simple to correct any ICM errors we might find in HM3/PT4.

If you aren't yet testing HM3 Beta shoot me a PM here and I can give you instructions to register a beta testing license and give you a link to our latest internal beta.

Please zip and email the problem hand histories, with a link to this thread and your forum name, to us using the 'Contact Support' link.

All original hands that are auto-imported get moved to an archive for performance reasons. Your \HM2Archive is in C:\HM2Archive by default, but you may have put it anywhere. The archive should be organized by \Month\DayOfMonth (example: D:\HM2Archive\2009\07\31) or if it was auto-imported with 7283+ it would be in \HM2Archive\SiteName\YYYY\MM\DD. It is configured in the Site Setup - Auto Import Folders menu.

When sending any files please zip them (right-click > send to > compressed folder) before attaching them to an email. If the attachment is larger than 10MB please upload them to a file hosting site like dropbox, then 'copy public link' and paste the download link directly into the support ticket email.

Just did a test with HM2 on microgaming.

First in HUD options changed 9max to 8max (there isn't any 9max MTTs anymore on microgaming)

Everything looks fine.

However after you start to play stats just start to randomly jump around table every other hand, here is example:

1 way to fix to this is double click on last hands so HUD shows current session stats and HUD goes back to normal positions. But it doesn't last long. Sometimes if you're lucky you can play 8-10 hands and then it just keeps happening again, sometimes after hand, sometimes in middle of hand but stats just keep jumping around table to random positions.

I believe I have reported this already and it's been going on since microgaming switched from 9max to 8max in MTTs which is pretty long time.

Is there a fix?

So far only solution I have found is to just use PT4 for microgaming as it does not have any issues like this.

This issue has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve. If you want to be notified when it is fixed please send an email via the 'Contact Support' link and include "Notify Me When HM-8832 Is Resolved" in the subject line and body of the email.

If PT4 works OK on these tables should then HM3 should also. PM me if you need instructions for signing up for HM3 testing, or a link to the latest internal build if you are already testing HM3.

Our new internal beta should work on all Party games except Fast Forward tables on Non-English Party skins. We have not made this live in the HM3 Beta Auto-Update Channel so PM me if you need instructions for signing up for HM3 testing, or a link to the latest internal build if you are already testing HM3.

I have HM3 beta, however I still need to set it up properly to be able to grind. HUD imported fine but lot of custom pop-ups was bit messed up and not nice for eyes.

How does HM3 database size compares to HM2? I have not yet imported most of my hands to HM3. My current HM2 database is 39 GB. Any idea how much HDD space will that database take with HM3?

I would guess this issue is not highest priority for HM2 and I will go HM3 route then. Just need to tidy up my pop-ups and import hands to HM3.

Thanks Fozzy.

I've been running both side by side and in a roughly 475k Hand DB (HM3 has about 10k more hands than HM2 for some reason) the HM3 DB takes up about 500mb less space.

It is hard to compare HM2 DB size to HM3 because HM2 split the postgresql database into 2 parent folders: 1 parent folder in the postgresql \data folder and 1 other parent folder in the users roaming directory for HM3. The HM2 Database Manager size info only counted the postgresql \data folder files. HM3 keeps everything in a single database file.

HM3 databases are generally 3 - 4 GB per 1 million hands I think but that can vary depending on site the hands are from, game types for the majority hands, cash vs tournament, etc.

I removed auto import in settings for all sites except microgaming but HM3 hud still shows up on all other tables.
I just manually press hide HUD on all other tables as I still haven't imported my full HM2 database to HM3.
Is there any other way to disable HM3 hud on other sites tables?

Thanks.

The HUD is going to detect the tables even if the auto import settings aren't configured so you may as well leave them all configured to auto import. The Hide HUD on All Tables option, followed by the Show HUD option on tables you want a HUD, is going to be the simplest way to do it at this point.

There is another way you could achieve this so you don't have to toggle them off/on every session/table. Open the HUD - HUD Editor menu and select the Cash/Tournament 'Default' HUD in the 'Profile' drop-down menu if it isn't already selected. Click the 'Options' button 'Duplicate Profile' option and give it a name. Right-click - 'Delete Item' on all the stats in the 'Default' group. Then do the same for the Table Averages group.

You will still see the Table 'HUD' icon on all tables. Open that 'HUD' menu on tables/sites where you don't want to see a HUD and select your new statless/invisible HUD then open that menu again and set it as default for that/all table/s. Once that is done it should always show that invisible HUD profile on those tables and you can pick another HUD with stats whenever you want to start using the HUD on that site/table.

do stats exist for either of these river situations, and if so, what are they called?

1) i raise preflop, a player calls out of position

flop - he checks, i check back
turn - he bets, i call
river - he bets

2) i raise preflop, a player calls out of position

flop - he checks, i check back
turn - he checks, i check back
river - he bets

I can't find any stats for these river situations. I asked the rest of the team to be sure I wasn't missing something. If they find something I missed I will re-quote these posts and update thread, and PM you to make sure you see the update.
