There are no conflicts that I am aware of. I often have HM2, HM3 and PT4 all open at the same time for testing (though admittedly I don't use PT4 for live HUD play/testing). To import hands from PT4 you need to import the original hands from their \Processed folder like you would with HM2 in this FAQ.

I guess HM2 doesn't work in Pokerstar's new game format "Unfold"(?) It's importing/tracking only the hands that don't go to Unfold phase but not those that go, so the majority of hands are missing.

Neither Holdem Manager (nor our sister software PokerTracker) support the new PokerStars Unfold game at this time and it would not be simple to add support due to the game’s rules going against all the rules of poker; when you fold, you are done and out.

Like the ten previous poker variants that PokerStars has introduced over the past few years, if the game gets popular and there is enough demand to add support then we will invest the time and resources into adding support. Unfortunately, each of the past games, all quickly fall out of favor and never gain traction and PokerStars ultimately removes the games from their site. If this new Unfold game sticks around, gains traction, and we get enough requests to support it then we will at that time.

Does HM2 track freerolls? It seems that if someone was playing a lot of them to build a bankroll, they would run into regulars often enough that the tracking information would be useful.

We do not support play money tables. The HUD will generally work on freeroll tables (and hands will import) with the Table Finder if HM2 is properly configured though. Please see this FAQ on how to use table finder for non 'fast-fold' tables - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...+not+appear%3F

I went ahead with the reinstall and it fixed it.

Thanks for letting me know. Downgrading to 8079 (or any older build) doesn't usually cause those issues but it is good to know a simple reinstall sorted it out in case anyone else reports it.

The HUD is no longer showing up on the tourney/cash tables on Intertops. I asked them about it and they say they didn't make any changes.

It still captures the hands played, but the HUD DOES NOT display on Intertops anymore. The HUD still shows upon the other poker sites. Please help.

- Try to include the Active Sessions tab and/or Sessions Report that also includes your windows clock and poker client lobby clock in the screen shot

- Close HM2 and send your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

With all the above information we should be able to narrow down what is causing the issue. If all the information is not included we will need to email you again to request it.

hello, i just installed new version of partypoker software and my HUD doesnt show on fast foward tables (but it's all ok at regular tables). HM version 8531 and already tried everything here: http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...Forward+Tables

We will be releasing a new beta once we have a fix ready. 8531 already got bumped to 8532 for a minor change (removed another SnowieApp check on startup) but we will have a new beta 8533 or higher once the Party Poker FastForward fix is ready. These changes should be available in the next gold beta release. While we do not have an exact date for the release, you will receive a prompt to update once available as long as you have enabled the Settings > General > [x] Prompt for Beta Updates.

When doing a fresh install what version of postgres is best? On 9.4 currently, will the latest stable 10.x work OK? Or stick to 9.x?

I've backed up my hm2archive, huds + filters. Anything obvious I'm forgetting?

Any of the 9.x versions should be fine as far as I know. I have used 9.3 and 9.5 both recently without issue. I don't have any experience with 10.x versions, and it appears 10.5 is a beta version, so I can't recommend it.


Make sure you do an actual database/settings backup as well. Restoring that should be all you need to do. The manual backup of your archive and config files is just in case the backup file doesn't restore properly. Please see this FAQ to transfer/backup data.

Is it possible to apply a filter that only shows results if you have recorded more than x hands for a particular starting hand?

Example: Looking at Hero EP opens but want to filter out holecards than have been opened less than 10 times for the year.

There is no filter to do that. The only thing I could think to do would be use the HoleCards Report and sort by the Hands column and ignore the ones with 10 or less total hands.

I have been having the same problem on Juicy Stakes Poker (an Intertops site.) I will follow the instructions that were given to you.

This issue has been documented in detail and provided to the developers to resolve. Their recent client update broke the HUD.

The assigned internal issue # on this issue is HM-8966

It was made live about an hour ago. You can download it manually here or click the HM2 Home tab 'Check for Updates' button if you have beta prompts enabled.


Note: Restart of HM2 required after the installation before HUD will work on fast forward tables

just played a session of some zoom tables mixed with normal tables.
after a while the hud from zoom didnt refresh anymore, it just stayed the way it was.
So i was looking at the hud from 20 hands ago, and ofc i dont need this.
Is this a known issue and can i do something to prevent it and/or solve it?
I already always start holdem manager before pokerstars

Make sure you have the latest beta build installed:

hm2 is still not working on ff tables on party, regular tables work and zoom on stars works as well, i get the "waiting for hands..." menu but can't move it and the hud never shows up and the little menu "waiting for hands" eventually disappears
the hands are still saved to hm2, the only problem is the hud not displaying on ff tables, have tried unnistal/installing the software, what else should i do?

If you have the new party client you need v8536. If your party skin is still the old client you need v8528. You can get those or any other previous builds from our releases forum - http://forums.holdemmanager.com/hm2-releases/
