No idea whats going on lol.

I tried again before going through what the support ticket said and i went into General settings / advance settings and realised " Hide HUD if there's no hero " was ticked.

I used this for new tables that brought up a HUD even though i was not sitting on it.

I unticked that and low and behold ... the HUD appears on the FF tables.

Everything is ok now apart from the fact my own stats are showing up at the tables and i cannot remove them for some reason.

Even though i have " hide hero hud " in common settings and have nothing ticked in stat appearance / display for hero.

Its like its not recognising hero and that is why nothing appeared when hide hud if theres no hero was ticked.

I did start a new database this morning and imported the 230 or so hands i have on Party.

But my alias is correct in the hero tab on the far left.

Basically they think the issue is AVG and i need to uninstall that.

Im no computer guy tbh but i doubt its AVG.

Everything has worked fine for months on Stars and had no issues with the normal tables or Zoom.

Even on Party the HUD seems to work on the normal tables so AVG has singled out Party fast forward tables ?????

That seems a little odd to me especially as i added the required list of exceptions.
AVG has caused issues for thousands of customers over the year with their HUD, especially at Fast-Fold tables. We need you to uninstall/replace it as instructed so we can be sure it is not the cause. If it ends up not being the cause you can reinstall it later but when we see AVG and no other obvious causes to your problems it is something we need you to try so we can rule it out as a cause.

Those Hero specific HUD settings/options do not work on Fast-Fold tables. I am not sure if it is something that is even possible to fix at this point, but the developers and management are aware of the issue.

Thanks for reminding me about this issue and I will bring it up with management to see if we can get these issues in front of the devs, and also see if there is an easier way for us to see how these options are set when handling issue reports from Fast-Fold tables.

I've walked through some of the steps in the quote above. Emptying C/Temp and appdata/local/temp helped a bit.

However, I'm not seeing really big results.

Any tips/tricks/tools?
Step 5 in this FAQ, from that post of mine you quoted, explains how to find out what specific files and folders are taking up the bulk of your space. If it is your postgresql database all you can do is purge hands and/or vacuum the database. Or delete it and create a smaller database.

Ahhhh ok.

So this is a known HUD issue on FF and everyone has their own stats showing.

Thanks for the update.

Hi, when replaying hands in the HUD pop up its show CB-Fold 58 (31) under the Flop tab

does the 58% mean player folded 58% of the time after they continuation bet the flop when raised? which means they called 42% of the time , is this correct?

and what does the (31) stand for?

Also in the HUD designer what is the same stat as CB-Fold stat if i have understood that stat correctly? I searched Fold Flop CB Vs Raise from this link http://faq.holdemmanager.com/questio...at+Definitions but i dont see this exact stat name in the hud designer.

Yes, unfortunately the method we use for a HUD on fast fold tables makes it hard for us to detect which player is the 'hero' unlike on non fast-fold tables. I think these Hero HUD settings do work on one/some of the other site's fast fold tables (Zoom, maybe) but we have not had luck getting them to work with Party Fast Forward tables yet.

It would mean 42% of the time they did not fold if raised after CBetting. They could have Re-Raised as well as called or folded.

Edit: Just as an FYI please see this FAQ.

The number of opportunities/instances the stat number is based on.

Which popup are you referring to? You/we can use any text we want for a column/cell header in the popups. You need to look at that popup in the Popup Designer and see what specific stat is in the cell under that text. I would assume it is 'Flop CBet-Fold' stat but can't say for sure without more details about which popup and/or stat abbreviation you are seeing in the popup designer.

Here is an example of how to find the stat name in the popup designer using one of the CBet popups I have installed:

Frequently when i run HEM2, i would get the message an instance of holdem manager is already running. This usually happens after i start up HEM2... then open stars. Then once i start playing, i notice my hud does not update and then i notice hem2 is frozen and i have to close the program. Then when i try to open the program from desktop, it has that message. So basically i have to restart my computer everytime this happens. You can understand how frustrating this is when playing many tables. Doing this and then having to open hem2 again and stars etc.

Sometimes when i open hem2 up, after just a bit whether i open stars or not, it would have this message. I rather have this message before i open stars up or before i register for anything since i could just restart the computer.

But more often then not, this happens when im playing and have hem2 and of course the hud running. Is there a way to fix this issue where even if i have to control alt delete and close hem2, i could reopen the program without having to restart? This issue i say happens more than 50 percent of the time etc. Its very annoying especially when everything freezes and you cant play without the hud etc.

It is impossible to say what could cause something like this without seeing your log files. If you continue to have problems, please reproduce the problem and send your HM2Logs folder with a detailed description of what you were doing and what problems you were experiencing.

Im trying out the normal tables on Party Poker.

I see that HEM can give me the player stats on each table and resets when a new player sits down.

Is there a way to do the same with note caddy definitions in the HUD pop ups.

Took me a while to realise that certain NC pop ups were for " Player 2 " and not for that particular player in the session.

Not as far as I know but I don't use NC or provide support for it so it would be best if you ask their team in their support thread.

You can not enter that specific of a hand. Please see this FAQ to understand better how to use the Custom Omaha Filter. You can get to that FAQ by clicking the little blue question mark icon in the lower right corner of the Custom Omaha Filter menu.

The right way to enter that hand would be:

Code:
T965$ds

This will return all varieties of double suited T965 then you can sort by 'cards' in the Overall report to find those exact suits of hands:

Any idea why it stopped showing on all tables?

Hi, how do i filter for omaha where KKxx flops a flush draw?

I enterered KK in the hand value filter what other filter do i use so its not a nut flush draw to the Ace, but so the flush draw is to the kings, say flop two diamonds and our hand is KdTsQd9c etc?

Your question above confuses me because you start by asking about KKxx and mention you don't want it flush drawing to the A, but then you mention a hand with out KK in it.

You can filter for the hole cards you wanted as explained on our Custom Omaha Filter FAQ.

Code:
[KK]$ss!a
which means KKxx Single Suited hands that do not contain an Ace. Not all of the returned hands will be suited to the K unfortunately so you will get some hands like KhKc5s3s.

But once you add on these Flop Hand Value filters:

and sort by the 'Cards' column in the Overall report so the hands with suited KXs are at the top you should be able to find the majority of the hands you want at the top of the report results:

I am not sure how that is supposed to behave with HM2 on Zoom tables as I can't play/test there and none of my Stars Zoom testers are online right now.

Please create a support ticket via the Contact Support link with your question and we can forward it to them later when they are online. They may see our internal chat about it when they come online but if you could create a support ticket as well that should ensure they/I do not forget about the question if our internal chat channel fills up between now and then.

Yeah my bad was meant to be KK not one K

OK i done the filter like this before you replied

which might be the same as your method or not?

edit: ok so its not the same the filter i used filtered 134 hands while using your filter 85 hands?

Also now that i think about it if i use [KK]$ss!a and where the flop is two diamonds and I'm on a diamond flush draw KKxxdd

It wont show hands like Kd2dKsA

So hands with a A but not to the A nut flush will be filtered out like this

btw that is the filter with 134 hands

So how would i include hands with the Ace but not to the nut Ace flush draw just to the KK flop flush draw?

Actually I suppose there isn't a filter for this as it would be in the hand value filters something like > Not nut flush draw.

Unfortunately I do not think it is possible. I spent over an hour on this question with my QA/Testing Manager this morning (we were testing both HM2 and HM3) and that was as close as we could get to what we think you wanted. Hopefully the developers can make HM3 capable of such a filter in the future but at the moment it doesn't appear capable of this filter combination either.

I missed this bit. If you change the:

Code:
[KK]$ss!a
to:

Code:
[KK]$ss
then play with the Flush Draw filters you may be able to get close. Some of those flush draw filters didn't seem to work with any omaha hands and would only return holdem hands and I am not sure why without discussing it with the developers next week to find out why and if we can make them work better with omaha hands in HM3.

Any future filtering questions please create a support ticket instead of posting in this forum thread. This will make it easier for me to discuss with our developers and not lose track of like I could with a forum question.

  • I guess, not all datas are imported correctly, bc i've marked many players bc of their stats in HM2, but in HM3 i have a few players, without stats, that are already marked by me ?!
  • How can i move the stats manually ? With HM2 it was rightclick + hold button, but didnt work in HM3 ?!

In the future please send any other HM3 questions/problems via the Help - Send Feedback menu. This thread is still dedicated to HM2 and we prefer that all HM3 Beta issues/questions are sent via the support system so they are easier for us to keep track of, and get resolved ASAP.

Please create a support ticket via the 'Contact Support' link here - https://support.holdemmanager.com/support/category/19 - and if there is a forum thread with additional information please link to this thread and let us know your forum name if there are several people in the thread.

Can you please backup your HM2 database/settings as explained here - http://hm2faq.holdemmanager.com/ques...onfigs+work%3F

Then upload the backup file to filedropper.com and paste the download link in the support ticket so we can test your database import issues please. If you have problems with filedropper you can try dropbox or google drive instead.

By default the HUD components placed on the table are locked in position to avoid accidentally moving the HUD while playing. To move the HUD component boxes to new locations on the table:

Hold the Control key and left mouse button while dragging the HUD components to the new location.

Once they are positioned how you want them you will want to click the HM3 Table 'HUD' icon and 'Save Layout' or 'Lock & Save Layout'.

You can alternatively click the HM3 'HUD' icon and Unlock the HUD to move HUD groups around on the table without the need to hold the control key. This also applies to moving the HM3 Table 'HUD' icon - hold the modifier key to drag it; and also applies when moving mucked cards and board cards. To see the position of all mucked cards, use the HM3 Table 'HUD' icon to enable "Configure Mucked Cards".

A few of the straight draw filters don't work either just so can also mention it to your developers in the hand value filters for example one of them being..
