Geez, I just started playing on betonline( with a Mac ) and wanted to try iHoldem indicator......but there's not much positive feedback......

my holdem indicator seems to be bugged. i click the play button and it just keeps looping as if trying to load.

reinstall? i already restarted comp etc.

Software is garbage. I used to use along with pokershark several years ago while playing on fulltilt.
But back then at least their support was decent.
After long break from poker I decided to play on bovada and soon found out that it's the only software that works with them. I tried contacting support and retrieve my old holdem indicator since I did acquire it by being their affiliate on fulltilt. I got denied.
Well I registered as an affiliate through bovada and they gave me license.
I opened it up and started playing several windows. after about 5 minutes I couldn't click any buttons in bovada windows. I started going back and forth trying to figure out what happened. Then I closed their indicator and everything went to normal. I thought it might be coincidence therefore I opened it up again and in about 10 minutes same stuff happened and I folded Q-Q preflop because of it.
I stopped using it and never had problems. Then I wanted to test tournament indicator. I wrote them that I'm their affiliate and asked for license for tournament indicator. First time I got it they had no problems providing me such service as giving license to almost the same but a little bit different software. But now they refused and told me to buy it.
I would suggest to stay away from their products and company.
Use Poker Tracker or Holdem manager. Much better and respected managers. Too bad no Bovada support though.

Has anyone found a way to get HEM2's HUD to work with Bovada? I was thinking of finding some way to piggyback off of holdem indicator. I talked to Patvs from HEM2 and he said it would be possible in theory. He also said that someone might have already done it or at the very least created a script that converted holdem indicator's live hand grab into a format that was compatible with HEM2.

If anyone else is working on this, or a developer wants to work on this, I would be more than happy to help in any way I could.

As the manual seems to suggest it will - but I can't see where on the mini version it would. Be good if it does.

Whats the main difference in Holdem Indicator and Tournament Indicator?

I own Poker Tracker 4 which I use for hand analysis but I use Holdem Indicator as my HUD which works great and I have had no problem getting replies from support when I have any questions.

I believe it's on their website, the tourney indicator gives you some other stats like M Zone. I take all my hands from Bovada, use the Hand converter (bought it) and then import into HM2 for analysis.

The best thing for a beginner is to download hands from BP and then upload to PokeIt.co for review. They take a free 10,000 hands to review. If you want to spend more money buy HM2 or PT4 and import for a much more detailed review. Then I also have leakbuster for HM2 to analyze.

can u save the layout on tourney indicator?? i keep being asked "how many players are seated?"

most of my tables have been 9 man and some 6, regardless, stats are usually not aligned with the proper player. does this have something to do with me using preferred seating on Bovada?

for instance, i played one 6 max super turbo, indicated that it was a 6 player table and none of the stats were aligned correctly

also, sometimes when the "how many seats" question is asked upon opening a new table, it is freezing the client and HMI. anyone else have this problem?

I have been using Tournament Indicator on Bovada. When I get disconnected from a table (which happens quite frequently) all of the data on players is wiped when I get back. Is there a way to prevent this?

No way to prevent it. I sent the developer some notes on how he could make this work with a little interaction from the user, but he just said "we'll see." So that's a no usually

That's really too bad. I imagine that most people who use this program use it on Bovada as it is the only hud I know of that works there, and the Bovada support thread has lots of people complaining about disconnects. I have gone as far as writing hud stats in the note box for when I get disconnected.

Yep, that's about all you can do at this point. I won't write stats, but I will tag the ones I want to keep an eye just in case it all resets.

The basic problem is that when the table disconnects and reconnects, the HUD sees you as not leaving so all your stats are there, but it sees the other players as just joining so it assumes they are all new and resets. If he would just give a menu item to tell the HUD to "reconnect Player X to the last known stats for the Player X spot" or "Player X is not new," then the HUD could just keep going. The data is still there as evidenced by looking at the replayer, the stats known at that time based on the hands to that point are displayed in those hands. Just let us tell the HUD to reconnect and I'd be fine. If I screw up and reconnect an actual new Player X to the previous Player X, then that is on me.

Or what I think would be easier. Since it already has the capability to save history data, have a setting so that you need to manually reset the data every time you enter a new tournament. I mostly play MTT's and I am pretty sure that the way it works right now If Player 83 gets moved to another table and then I se that same player again later in the tournament, I am pretty sure it has fresh data for him. This hud costs more than the other trackers yet it can't perform simple functions such as this? I am thinking about purchasing hold em indicator but I am not going to until this problem is resolved.

Wow, didn't know it did that for MTTs. I am a cash player so my experiences are with disconnects there. I understand the cause in that situation. What you describe really has no excuse

can anyone say if hole cards are immediately available after a hand? If so, is it everyone's, just your own, other combo?

If it does show the hole cards, then does that mean its saving a hand history and I don't have to go through the tedious process of individually downloading hand histories at a later time?

Yes. I just sent an e-mail to HI support. Hopefully they get this fixed right away. I will post if I hear back from them.
