Does anyone else have this problem?

It worked fine yesterday, but since today's PS update, my import and HUD arent working properly...any ideas?

Latest version of HEM? Does that require an upgrade to HEM2 if that's even out yet?

This was caused by an adjustment in the hand history format.

For future reference OP, you sort of answered your own question. If HEM stops working after a Stars update, it's probably caused by...the Stars update. Something will have changed, and HEM will have to release their own update.

A good place to check when this happens is their thread in the Commercial Software forum.

The update didn't work for me so I reinstalled HM1 and now the HUD works. However I didnd't know it would reset my whole HM. All setting and hands are not in my HM database anymore. Is there anyway to get this all back?

Please post in the HM forum or thread in this forum in the future, as those are monitored, while the random threads will be locked, since there is a dedicated HM support thread.

Please guys, email stars and complain that the software devs (hem, po, pt, etc.) should get notification prior to updates to hand history formats.

Yeah, you have to use the beta of PT3.

That's fine, but I'm slightly irked that there's no mention of this on their download page (because that's the first place I checked). It should mention there that 3.10 doesn't support pokerstars, as that's pretty critical info (note the number of posts on the subject!). I'd go so far as to say that (logically) if PS functionality is a key aspect of the product, that 3.10 isn't a stable version any more.

... But I'll probably get over it... I think I might be a bit high strung.

They actually did notify this time - they do not always.

HM1 and 2 builds were released after the .country poker stars sites switched. Both have been available in the holdem manager forums for almost a week.

PokerStars wrote to the authors of software permitted at PokerStars on January 2, 2012, and notified them of the hand history change at that time.

The HEM guys must have been too busy ironing out bugs in HEM2 and therefor not having enough time to read their mails...

PokerStars is just one of over 20 online poker sites and networks that PokerTracker supports, albeit the biggest one we support of course. The world of online poker requires very frequent updates to tracking software because the poker clients themselves are frequently changing, therefore we always recommend to our users that they use the latest beta if they discover that there is an incompatibility with the poker network that they play on. Betas are required because it takes time to perform regression testing, for most active players we recommend that they consider always using our beta releases. On the bright side we are due for a major release of PokerTracker 3 shortly.

PS: This issue has affected fewer people than you may have assumed, most PT3 users have our betas installed and they are notified as soon as a new beta is released.

This is correct, PokerTracker released a beta to support the hand history change right before Christmas. Thank you to your team for making sure we were aware Michael.

PokerTracker BETA 3.11.7 supports the PokerStars hand history change, the BETA was released on December 22nd - long before the PokerStars client change was released. Although the hand history issue was fixed in advance, we did not anticipate an unrelated issue with the Memory Grabber. An additional fix for the memory grabber issue is currently in alpha and will be released as soon as testing is complete. Until the fix is released, the temporary solution is to disable the memory grabber and make sure that your PokerStars Hand Histories are properly configured as described in the PokerStars Site Configuration Guide.

1.12.09 was released a week ago and in the forums and software thread and fixed this issue. It arose with emailed hh's some of the .fr, .it, stars sites before it hit the .com site.

Update - PokerTracker BETA 3.11.8 was just released, this version fixes the PokerStars Memory Grabber issue discussed above. Good luck!

Im playing at pokerstars.eu and i cant import my handhistories. HEM finds and adds the hh files but no hands are imported.

I tried to update to newest version of hem but no succes, then i re-installed it but still not working. (allthough i quess it wasnt clean re-install cause my previous data was automatically at hem)

Do you guys have some solution for the problem?
Im thinking about fresh install of win7 but takes alot of work and it still might not work..
