Has anyone else complained about the red/green filters button? I am red/green color blind and can barely make out the difference. Is it possible to, maybe, have the red circle be an octagon like a stop sign, but then in green mode then it can be a circle like a green light?? It is so hard for me to tell the red from the green. It is killer software, just wondering.

Hello,

I'm not colorblind but I was also umconfortable with the meaning of the colored circles (red for filter off and green for filter on).

In my opinion colored circles in the F/T/R buttons should be replaced by a more understandable user interface.

The best way to be agnostic to color blindness and culture conventions in general is to use text rather than pictures and colors.

So "On" / "Off" text to replace colored circles should be the way.

Notice that text 'Filter is xxx' is just above the buttons so it can help waiting enhancements.

If the author wants to keep colored circles then this text can be red or green depending if the filtre is apply or not.

The blue funnel can be also different depending on the filter applied or not.
For instance funnel of google sheets is explicit : gray and not completely full if not apply and green and completly full if applied.
Toggle buttons can be also good rather than 'flat' buttons.

I would prefer to not use blue color in the general filter because the meaning if different in little funnels. Gray means that hands will be filtered (not kept) and Blue means that hands will not be filtered (kept).
And in fact blue means also "hands kept in a specific group' if we use filter groups features.

'Inv' text should be also added to general filters if actived imo.

Here are my suggesions and yes I think filters design can be improved.

First of all my apologies for not answering your post. We typically respond within 24 hours, but it appears that your question was overlooked. If you're using v1, then you can make any changes that you like in the /bmp directory. The filters can be found in /bmp/new.

That's a bit trickier, given that those images are not stored in files that can be edited externally.
Just to be clear, are the filter buttons the only buttons that are an issue here?

Yes I was more thinking about enhancements for a future release reshaping the 3 filter buttons of Flop, Turn and River.

It's the most confusing part for a Flopzilla noob I think :-)

Considering colorblindness, having 'Filter is xxx' can help but when you are river, you can't know for previous filters (if you can't see difference between red and green).

That's why I'm suggesting to remplace them by toggle buttons with text 'ON' or 'OFF' also directly on the filter buttons.

Can anyone tell me why Flopzilla is showing 0 combos for top pair here?
I've ran into this quite a bit. It seems sometimes things don't add up, but I'm sure it's something i'm missing or doing wrong.

If the installer isn't working for you, can you try this .zip version?

Could you please tell me if I'm able to play at WPN poker rooms with Flopzilla? I saved a lot of new preflop ranges and it will be great use Flopzilla while I'm playing.

You have filtered flop to have only 3 combos so it's normal to not have TP at river (KhTh is DP on this board)



But saying that, I don't understand why KhTh is considered as TP and not DP at flop (as well as other streets except if K is on T or R), so I think the issue is here.

Flopzilla does not consider board pairs as being part of your hand. So KT on T77 is considered to be top pair, and not two pair (given that you yourself only hold one pair).

I have a lot of ranges setup, and I'd like to save these ranges to a file and start with a blan k flopzilla to make new ranges. How do I same the many ranges I have so that once I save them, I can load up a completely blank flopzilla and load them up entirely once again?

Flopzilla v1
Your ranges are stored in newdefs2.txt, which can be found in the same directory as Flopzilla.exe.
Most likely this will be C:\Program Files (x86)\Flopzilla\Flopzilla
To reset your ranges, either rename or delete this file.

Is it possible to edit the the hand matrix colors in FlopzillaPro in the config files? So, for example, I'd like to make the 'activated' or 'highlighted' hand combos be a different more contrasting color instead of being a darker shade of the same color without having to manually toggle the "Apply Groups" button. Is this possible on my end? I know things such as the heat map are configurable but this is different, no? I'm looking at the files but I'm no coder but looking at settings.txt doesn't appear to have what I'm looking for. A lot of the files look encrypted or perhaps I need a different text editor?

I ask because when exporting ranges from GTO+ to FlopzillaPro it's just the yellow on yellow is hard for my eyes to distinguish without careful examination, especially when things are weighted and fade to a closer color to the original non--activated color.

Have you considered skinning FlopzillaPro to look more like GTO+? The contrast colors are awesome on there. I have no need to edit those whatsoever.
