Does the latest version work on XP? If not, what version do I need?

It appears that I have successfully installed 1.8.0, it will start to launch when I try to open it, but never gets past the start page.

Thanks,

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work with XP.
Can you please try running Flopzilla_C.exe manually (or Flopzilla_T.exe if you're in trial mode)?

You'll need to run it as admin though.
To do so, right-click the file and select "run as administrator".

If it still doesn't work for you, then please try v182 to see if that works.

Other than that, please set an exception in your virus scanner, given that it may be interfering with the software.

Cheers,

Scylla

Hi,

For versions v180 and below they are stored in the file newdefs.txt.
For v181 and above they are stored in newdefs2.txt.

No, I haven't gotten around to that at this point in time.

Is there a way to always start with the flop/turn river filters off?

No, however, if you press 's' on your keyboard Flopzilla will (de)select all stats.
So it should be reasonably easy to accomplish.

I am new to this and on the trial. After I put in villain range and my hand and the flop. It tells me my % of having the best hand vs that range, but lets say I narrow down after the flop his range with the filter?, to Top pair, 2 pair or set and want to see my equity vs the newly filtered, how do i see that?

As far as I see when I adjust the filters the equity, etc stays the same.

Also how much is the full version to purchase?

For this click on the big gray filter button at the bottom of the "Statistics" section:

Hi,

is there a chance there will be 2 editable opponent ranges in the future taking the card removal effect into account?

Thanks in anticipation.

Best regards

Hi Scylla,
For some reason I am no longer able to connect Holdeq with Flopzilla. I've gone through all of the necessary steps, such as locating the Flopzilla folder, etc. I've even uninstalled and reinstalled both programs. Currently running Win 8.1.
Thanks for the help!

I've checked and it seems to be working on my own Win 8 system over here.

Can you please try starting HoldEq from Flopzilla instead?
To do so, go to "HoldEq->Start HoldEq" in Flopzilla's menu.

Also, can you please set an exception in your virus scanner for all of Flopzilla's .exe files?

Hi,
every time I select a range and put my hand in dead cards and then press "Random", the program crashes; same with only one dead card.

ps If I only select a range and then press "Random", Flopzilla works.

Thx

Are you possibly using v181?
I seem to recall there was a bug like that in that version.
If you upgrade to v182 it should disappear.

maybe already possible. But if not. it would be really awesome to get the ability the revert to a previous street, adjust the range and then swtich back to the spot you where in..

for example. I want to know how my river equity is if villain xc'd the flop and we get to the river... However, if we change some variables on the flop (like he won't xc with A high 100% but only 25%), how does it change the river equity.

Now I do this buy unclicking the board and move back to that street, then selecting the turn and river card again.. maybe it's possible to do this a quicker, more effecient way so it becomes more inviting to change variables more often....

any tips are welcome!

Hi,

For this either use the LEFT and RIGHT arrows on your keyboard or click on the arrows next to the name of the board phase:

PokerStars no longer allows pretty much any software to be run while their client is open. For that reason, for v179 and up Flopzilla only runs with restrictions if PokerStars.exe is detected.
