You can store ranges in categories.
To create a new category, click on "Add category".

The - button in the upper left will close all categories.

That's neat, I didn't see the button in the upper left, that makes a little simpler.

I do store the ranges in categories, and then every time I go to use Flopzilla, every category which I have ever created is displayed. I end up scrolling through a lot of ranges, when I would like to be able to work with just a few. Is there a way to save a collection of categories, like a document, so that I can just pull up that collection, and not see the other categories that I have created?

It is kind of like, if you were using a word processing program, and every time you wanted to edit a document or create a new one, you were forced to see everything that you had ever typed. Is there a way to create actual documents for Flopzilla, instead of just having everything you've done stored/displayed within the interface?

scylla, every 1-2 weeks, i've to request a new key because flopzilla says: NO MORE HARDWARE CHANGES ALLOWED, what should i do? i've cleaned my registries already, im so confused :S

Hello scylla! From time to time(don`t know how and why) the saved ranges are just disappearing. For 3 weeks everything was fine. but today half of definitions just disappear. wft? How do I fix that and get those back? This is really really frustrating.
Half of Cold call and 5 others definitions just not there anymore.

Ok, first of all, could you mail your newdefs.txt file to support. It contains your ranges and I'd like to take a look if I can figure out what went wrong.

Other than that, whenever you make a change in your ranges a backup is stored in the /undo subdirectory. To restore to an earlier file, start Flopzilla and select "Save/Load->Restore predef ranges from a list of backup files".

Hello, I really like this program. I have a question. Is there a way to compare preflop equity between two ranges in Flopzilla the way you can in equilab and poker stove? I want to compare a range that is weighted with another range but I don't believe the weights I give to a range in Flopzilla can be exported to PS or Equilab.

I can't seem to get HoldEQ to connect any flopzilla windows.

Is there something I could be doing or a log to provide?

I believe I've done this previously and re-watched the setup video:

* holdeq is ran as administrator
* flopzilla is set as administrator
* flopzilla is set to allow connections from holdeq

The signal icon just flashes and then stops with no connection.

Anything I could do or be doing?

You should make sure that HoldEq knows Flopzilla's location on disk.
And also make sure that you have the latest version of both Flopzilla on HoldEq.

Other than that, if you're still having trouble, try uninstalling Flopzilla and reinstalling to a different directory.
And of course tell HoldEq where the new directory is.

Other than that, the only thing I can think of is that you may want to set an exception in your virus scanner for all .exe files in the Flopzilla and HoldEq directories.

It works after an uninstall of MS Security Essentials, Flopzilla, HoldEQ and then re-installing FZ and HEQ.

After a restart the first connection is fast, the second is slow and sometimes takes a few retries. This is on a macbook retina i7 running bootcamp.

... but so far so good ... got the job done ...

Ok, well if uninstalling MS Security Essentials is involved then it sounds like that is what's interfering with the connection. So please try setting an exception for all .exe files.

Since I updated the latest version of flopzilla it keeps saying 'Critical file missing'. I tried the alternate download location, but it didn't help. I also removed flopzilla and downloaded it again but it keeps saying there's a critical file missing. What should I do?

Could you please try uninstalling and reinstalling to a different directory?
If any file is corrupted that should get you around that.

Other than that, please set an exception for all .exe Flopzilla files in your virus scanner. The most likely cause of this issue is that your virus scanner deleted a file.

If the issue persists, could you please mail a screenshot of Flopzilla's installation directory to support? To get to the main directory, right-click Flopzilla's icon on your desktop and select "open file location".

I purchased flopzilla a few days ago, and i love this program. Is possible change the default ranges for all the percents? I mean 1% other cards, 2% other cards, 3% others,... and so on.

Also I use Equilab, and the ranges are differents, I want them to be equal in the two programs.
