Yes, it's indeed because of the 2crd bckdr fd, which has a weight of 100%.
If there's an overlap between two stats, and one (or both) has a weight, then the one with the highest weight wins.

So in this case, if I mouse over "middle pair", I can see that there's a total of 18 combos that are also a 2crd bckdr fd. So out of the 99 middle pair combos, only 99-18=81 are weighted by 50%, which comes down to 40.5 weighed combos. And 40.5+18=58.5 combos for middle pair in total.

Can a registration key be used on multiple computers? I have a desktop and laptop at home and also would like to use it at my office? Is that going to be covered under one registration or would it require multiple purchases?

A license allows you to register the software on two computers.
You'll need a separate key for each though, so please send the ID for both computers to support.
To get the ID start Flopzilla and select "register" from the menu.

My flopzilla simply stopped working since yesterday, it said trial expired. I re-registered with the same code that was there, simply clicked OK and it worked, but all the ranges I defined are gone. Is there any way to retrieve them, where are they normally stored?

Additionally, I would like an option to import/export the ranges on the left

In all likelyhood, they're still on your computer.
They're either in the regular installation directory (right-click Flopzilla's icon and select "open file location").
Or you'll find them in C:/Users/X/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/Program Files(x86).
Here X is your username on your computer.
AppData is a hidden directory.

Your custom ranges will be stored in the file newdefs.txt.
To tell if you have the correct file, rename it into anything else (for example newdefs2.txt) and start Flopzilla.
If your ranges have been reset to the default values, then you've got the correct file.

That's coming in about a month.

Yes found newdefs.txt in my zilla directory, but it's not being read I guess because only the default ranges show up. Is there any way to fix this?

Also, any idea what caused this bug? I don't want to keep adding custom ranges then lose them. Thanks for looking into it.

Please check the directory C:/Users/X/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/Program Files(x86).
Here X is your username on your computer.
AppData is a hidden directory.

You'll also find the newdefs.txt file there, and thát one is the one you're looking for.

It's because Windows first stored it in C:/Users/X/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/Program Files(x86) and has now decided to store it in the regular directory.

To prevent this issue, just always run as admin. In the next update, which I expect to be in about a month, I'll make some changes to solve this issue.

Hey scylla,

really great program but i have some probs in saving ranges.
I add a category and store a range, save it than close flopzilla and reopen. Then after opening the saved file i see the last stored range but no category or name for it left.

Any ideas?

I'm not 100% clear as to what you mean, but you might want to try running as admin. To do so, right-click Flopzilla's icon and select "run as administrator".

Did a routine virus scan with Comodo Cleaning Essentials today, and got a positive for Flopzilla_T.exe (Packed.Win32.Krap):

As you can see there's also a HEM2 positive. I'm assuming both are false, but posting to let you know.

EDIT: Seems the picture won't come up, anway, the positive is Packed.Win32.Krap in Flopzilla_T.exe. Got the same alert on both my computers.

Ok, I see it (https://www.virustotal.com/nl/file/c...is/1368955054/).
I don't think there's much I can do here though, since Comodo is a free tool and they don't appear to have an appeal process.
Given that you're also reporting a false positive for HEM2 I think I'm justified in arguing here that this says more about Comodo than anything else.

I had a bunch of ranges set up w/weighting. All of a sudden the weighting is gone. The ranges are still there, just all indications of any weighting. Help!

Could you please turn ON "Clear mode" in the upper left?
I suspect that will solve your issue.

If clear mode is ON:
The matrix is cleared before the range is loaded.
If the loaded range contains weights, then those weights will be loaded as well

If clear mode is OFF:
The loaded range is ADDED to the matrix.
Weights within the loaded range are ignored.
If a weight is selected (to the upper right of the matrix) then thát weight will be applied to the entire added range

Those are hands that are top pair and also a flushdraw.
A5o is not top pair.

Are your results analytic or is simulation used?

With a gutshot result, is that for a 4 out only or does it include a double gutshot?

Thx.

All results are enumerated, so they are the exact mathematically correct value.

A double gutshot is considered to be an 8-out straight draw.

Hi Scylla,

Just DL a trial version of Flopzilla couple days ago - when it opens up it goes
"loading preflop equities" and freezes up. What do you think is happening?
Am running on a tiny netbook w/ Windows 7 Starter

I've never heard of that issue.
You could try uninstalling and reïnstalling to a different directory.
Usually that solves most issues.

Hey, range string output doesn't work for me when there is not at least 3 cards selected as board texutre. It just shows the text output.
Using latest version.
