Your program is great but how can I select a range which include only clubs or hearts for example ?
How can I only select the 67 of heart for example?
In pokerstove it would be 67h but flopzilla doesn't accept this format.

Hi PayMyFreedom,

In v1.5.4 you can't, since Flopzilla only allows for suit selection after the flop is known (with the filters in the "Statistics" section).
However, by popular request I have added preflop suit selection in v1.5.5 as well. Please see post #725 in this thread for a link to v1.5.5, which is kind of an unofficial beta.
I'll be releasing v1.5.6, which has several improvements and bugfixes in a couple of days.

No, Flopzilla does not work on Iphone/Ipad.
Software for those platforms needs to be specifically written for them.

Scylla - is there a way to show a total number of combos for the range that goes through the filter? I see individual combo numbers for each hand but was hoping there could be a way to show the total too.

Use TAB to toggle to combo mode.
The number of combos in the range, as well as the number of combos that make it through the filters are shown at the bottom of the "Statistics" section.

Great program. Is there a way to remove indiviual suits of hands from a range? I am trying to use the software for hand reading exercises. I start by giving villian a range and then generating a random flop. Assume I bet and villian calls. I begin removing hands from his range that I believe he would fold. Sometimes this is only certain suits of the same hand. Ex.: Ks 7h 2c flop. I bet. Villain calls. Villian may call with several backdoor straight and flush draws (QJss, QJhh, QJcc, but not QJdd). Is there a way to separate these QJ suited hands to individual suits to keep the spades, hearts, and clubs in the range, but remove the diamonds?

You can do this in the recently released v1.5.8.

It's an entirely new way of selecting suits in a matrix that makes it transparent what has been selected (if you look at any other software that allows suit selection, the whole thing turns into a black box; there's no way of telling which suits have been selected).

To bring up the suit selection interface, enlarge your screen downwards.
It's hidden below the starting hand matrix.

There's a total of 3 suit-groups available.
To assign the contents of a suit-box, press apply and then click the hands you want to apply that filter to.


Fwiw, this manner of filtering is not recommended in Flopzilla. It's much more preferable to use the blue filters in the "Statistics" field. To attach/remove a blue filter to a statistic, left-click on its name. To activate the filters, click on the big gray filter switch at the bottom of the "Statistics" field. Only hands that apply to at least on of the stats with a blue filter in front of them will be allowed to pass through.

Hi, if i just downloaded the new version, but it seems to be the installer, not an update file. Should i go ahead and install over it, and if i do this, will my saved ranges in the program be wiped?

Your custom files will not be removed.
Should you want to make a backup anyhow, your ranges are stored in newdefs.txt

Hmm.

You know the main hand grid? Right underneath that in grey writing it will add up the combos of hands you've selected in the grid.
When i widen flopzilla so i can see the preflop suit selection boxes, and i remove a few of the suits in the green box, and then click on the selected hands in the main grid so they have a green tag on them, it should remove some combos. But the grey writing still gives the same number of combos..

This may seem nit picky, but it's my favourite feature of the program, counts combos for you
