Hi IReadUrSoul,

That's not a problem.
Just mail support from the e-mail adres from which you originally registered.
In the e-mail please include your computer's hardware ID.
To get this ID, start Flopzilla and select "register" from the menu.

Cheers,

Scylla

How does the SW calculate how a certain range hits a certain board? Is it possible to do something vaguely similar in head?

By enumerating all possibilities and then calculating the average.

Sure, at the very least it would be handy to know things like how often someone who steals from the button with a top x % of range has actually hit a 3c4c7d board. You can easily research things like that to identify good/bad bluffing spots. Or to see how your own range is distributed.

Could you please add a button for randomizing 'dead cards'?

Is it possible to also add a button to randomize both flop and dead cards at once? (I would like to run drills this way. I don't mind clicking first on random flop and then on random dead cards button I just thought it could be handy)

The first think however would be really useful though, I would not really mind not having the second thing I asked for. There is a lot of space under the 'Clear' button to put it there.

Sure, I should be able to do that.

I don't think I can justify this though.
Sorry.

Thank you very much, a button to randomize both things at once is not very needed anyways.

Just a thought now. Would it be possible for you to distinguish between bottom pair+ and 'weak pair'? (in both CREV and flopzilla) I can see a lot of fish call on a AQ6 board with 86 or with 77 yet fold pairs like 33. I can only see him calling with all three or nothing using 'weak pair' stat.

In CREV there's several ways of stating that.
You could for example (this is for the beta) say that villain calls with "at least 5c3h". It's the bottom option in the "Made hands" section.

In Flopzilla you can set custom filters for individual hands.
To do so, mouse over the statistics bar to see the contents of the statistic.
And now right-click.
The popup is now fixed and you'll be able to set custom filters to individual hands.

Hi,

Is there a way to save all my defined ranges in a file so I can transfer them to my netbook from my main PC?

That data is stored in:
- postflopconditions.txt
- prefloppredefs.txt
- preflopranges.txt
- structure.txt
- range.txt

If you can't find them in the main directory, you'll find them in:
C:/Users/X/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/Program Files(x86)
Here X is your username on your computer.
AppData is a hidden directory.

Well ... that's not very surprising, since I gave the wrong answer.
You need the newdefs.txt file.
For some reason I thought your question was about CardRunnersEV instead of Flopzilla.

If you can't find the file in the main directory, you'll find it in:
C:/Users/X/AppData/Local/VirtualStore/Program Files(x86)

Sorry for the mixup.

FWIW, %LOCALAPPDATA% (typed in startmenu searchfield or windows explorer addressbar) takes you directly to your local appdata folder.

I'm in the same situation, however I don't see the "register" from the menu at the top. I only see "Save/Load" "Commands" "Settings" and "Help". I have version 1.5.4

In that case, you're already registered.

The "register" item only appears in trial mode.
Please try if you can enter more than 3 board cards in the "Board" section.
If you can, then ... you're in registered mode.

After registering previously, the registration process will remember your registration, so possibly you don't need to do anything.

Cheers,

So how do I transfer flopzilla to my new computer? Do I just download it again from the website?

After that you may need a new key.

Before you added the turn card, let's say the Ac, the Ac was considered as still being in the deck and was used in the calculations. After you select it as the turn, it's no longer available in the deck and the filter % will change accordingly.

In v1.5.4 suit selection in the preflop fase is not available (you cán in v1.5.5; see below).
There's two reasons for this:

Reason 1
Flopzilla is written with the intent of only allowing suit selection after the flop is dealt. This is done with the blue filters to the left of the statistics in the "Statistics" field. In this way, it emulates the way a hand is played in real life.

Reason 2
A second reason for not allowing suit selection in the preflop matrix is that it becomes completely untransparent which suits have been selected. It turns the whole thing into a black box.

v1.5.5
However ... by popular request I have decided to add suit selection anyway, although clearly stating upon its activation that this feature is not recommended. It is a completely new way of dealing with preflop suit selection that solves the problem of untransparency. Just by looking at the matrix it is completely clear which suits have been selected. This new feature will be "officially" available in v1.5.6 (I'll be skipping v1.5.5 for technical reasons), which will be available in a couple of weeks. For now, if you want to see the new feature, you can download the intermediary v1.5.5 here: http://www.crevfiles.com/flopzilla/t...nstallv155.msi

The suit selection interface is hidden below the matrix. To bring it up, enlarge Flopzilla's screen downwards. Mouse over the "Help" field in its lower right for a brief explanation of how it works.

PS: Also, a "Clear all fields" button has been added below the "Clear" button in the "Dead cards" section.
