Re: Flopzilla

Scylla, thanks for the '1 crd bdfd' filter, it works very well.

The only problem is that the '2 crd bdfd' filter is no longer available for flush draw flops.
I realise that the space is getting a bit cramped, but I don't ever use the 'overcards' filter as this just seems to be a subset of the 'no made hands' filter, so I was hoping that you could replace this with the '2 crd bdfd' filter?

No, it's still there.
It's called "bckdr fd.(2crd)".
But I can certainly see how that would cause confusion, so I'll rename it to "2crd bckdr fd".

Or did you mean something else?

Edit: Oh wait. It appears that in some cases it ís being left out. Probably when there's a lot of stats possible and space is required. I'll see if I can figure this out tomorrow. I'm too tired right now.

Re: Flopzilla

When I input a two flush flop, there is no 'bckdr fd.(2 crd)' filter though there is now the two '1 crd bdfd' filters.
It must be, as you say, because of the lack of space.

Thanks again for your quick responses, I am sure I can cope for a couple of days!

Since these new stats dó require some "advanced" knowledge of filtering they are however a hidden feature. To turn them on, go to Settings->One crd bckdr flushdraw on 2flush flops in the menu.

Go here for download:

Ok, I've fixed it for version 1.5.2, which I'll release this evening.

In 1.5.1 and before, if more than 22 stats were shown, 2 card backdoor flushdraws were left out, because there wasn't any more room for them and they were the least important (imho).
However, 1 card backdoor flushdraws were added befóre that and did not have any such restriction.

In 1.5.2 this decision will first be made for 2 card backdoor flushdraws.
1 card backdoor flushdraws will only be added áfter that if there's at most 21 stats drawn.

Weak pair is anything pair below middle pair.

And it "nothing" still in there?
I thought I had replaced it with "no made hand" everwhere?
Did I miss one?

To see what a stat does, just enter a range and a flop and move your mouse over the stat. The starting hand matrix will show which hands are in that range. The context should probably tell you all you need to know.

no worries, thanks!

and I doubt "nothing" is still in there, I haven't been able to see it, would have been a mistake on my part.

Not sure why that would happen, but this is probably solved by uninstalling and then reïnstalling.

Just mail support@cardrunners-ev-calculator.com for a new key.
You'll need to send your hardware ID as well.
To get the ID, start Flopzilla and select "register" from the menu.

Re: Flopzilla

Hey scylla I was wondering if there is a Hand vs Hand tool in Flopzilla, I mean like SPECIFIC hands like pokerstove? You know suppose I wanna put AsKs vs. QdQh type of thing. Cuz right now the only thing I can do is assign a hand range vs a specific hand. I hate having to open up equilab on the side for that stuff. Anyway love the program bro!

No, you can only select ranges for villain (and of course filter postflop).
Flopzilla is first and foremost a range analysis program.
The equity feature is just a bonus.
I'd gladly add your feature, but I'm afraid it would distract from Flopzilla's real purpose.

Limit is the pokerstove range.
No limit is just something I came up with.

You can edit those files yourself if you want.
They're stored in limit.txt and nolimit.txt.

Re: Flopzilla

Hey scylla, might have found a bug (using 1.5.2) on a hand, filtered out straights on his range on the turn (assuming they'd raise blabla) then pressed the filter button, but when I enter the river card they're back in his hand range! - marked violet so live as well. They should clearly be taken out of his range after pressing the filter, isn't that what the filters are for?

Also, any possibility of zilla having multi-way pots capabilities?
