The whole preflop range remains fully visible when the filters are on. Is there a way to hide also the cards from the preflop range which are filtered out? or at least to dim them visually?
Working on it ...

thanks
the hands which are making a flush are also considered in the "no flushdraw" statistic?

Thanks, I'll have to give that some thought.

The whole reason the "no flushdraw" stat is given is in case someone wants to filter for overlaps between stats (rightclick "no flushdraw", move your mouse over another stat and press a, b or c to apply custom filters to the overlap).
In some cases it comes in handy.
And if it weren't for that feature I wouldn't have added the "no flushdraw" stat.

I'm not entirely sure if I should remove >=flush from that range though. That particular stat is not really there for the reason of giving info, but more for the filtering reason mentioned above.

not bothered to troll through the whole thread, but has flopzilla always cost $$$? thought it was a free program (at some point) kinda pokerstove. but i might be wrong.

Ok, the beta with the requested features is up.
You can download at http://www.cardrunners-ev-calculator...zillaBeta.html

Filtered hands are now greyed out
Hands that have been removed by a filter are now grayed out. Only the hands that have passed through the filters are still displayed in color.

Hotness tool
The hotness tool is a hidden new tool that shows how the next board card will affect the equity. To see it, enlarge your screen to the right; it's next to the dead cards section. The tool requires that the flop is known and then shows how each turn affects the equity. Of course, it also works for the turn.

A minor graphical change.
If you now hover over a stat to show its contents, the combos that are in the stat are now shown in purple (previously the current range was simply not drawn):

Hi
Just bought Flopzilla, and am looking forward to using it.
Ive just stored a few ranges but cant retrieve them or any of the default ranges. If I hover the cursor over the range I can see all the card combos highlighted but if I click on the range (it highlights blue) and then move the cursor away they disappear. Im obviously being a bit of an idiot I believe but I cant figure it out? What am I doing wrong?
Thanks

So I installed the new version and now it's back on trial period and I can't enter my reg code because the HW ID is different than the one on my licence - at least that's why it's giving me an error I think. What to do, what to do...

I cant figure out how to filter for one card backdoor flushdraws.
For example: On the flop: JhTh2d I want to filter out all AKo hands that have the Ah in them...

Also one more thing, id like to see the text of the range popup preselected so i dont have to click it in order to copy or paste a range string. (yes im lazy =)

PS. Love the new grayed out range filter thing

Only two card backdoor flushdraws are present in the interface. I decided not to put one card backdoor flushdraws in due to a space+value consideration.

When writing the code for Flopzilla I pondered whether I should add them for one card, which would require at least three separate stats (nut, 2nd nut, other), and decided against it.
The reason for this was
- a space consideration. Just enter a two flush flop. There’s not much room left for additional stats.
- given all the draws, made hands and combination draws that are there to choose from on a 2flush flop, single cards backdoor flushdraws are the most obvious choice to leave out.

In the end, Flopzilla is set up to have an easy to use interface. The flipside to this is that sometimes I have to make choices as to what to put in and what to leave out. I’m afraid I can’t add single card backdoor flushdraws on two-flush flops. They would take up a lot of space, which would mean I'd have to take something else out.

Added! Thanks for pointing that out!

I just started using Flopzilla v 1.5.0. I can't get the screen to expand to see the whole Hotness Tool. I have increased my res from 1152 by 864 to 1280 by 1024 but still can't see the whole thing. Currently using Windows XP. Is there a trick to scrolling to the right?

Ai, I didn't take into account that not everyone has a wide screen monitor. I'll see if there's something I can do.

Ok, fixed for the upcoming version.
A scrollbar will now appear if the screen is enlarged horizontally.
Should be up ... roughly about the end of this month I'd say.

Hi Scylla,

Thanks for all your recent improvements. Flopzilla is such a good tool now.

I really think you should consider adding backdoor fd (1 card) though.
On any Rainbow flop nearly every range I need to input splits up Categories according to whether they have a backdoor fd. The 'bckdr fd.(2 crd)' filter means that I can see accurate SD ranges v easily.
On any two flush flops, backdoor fd are even more important. As I can't find a way to filter Backdoor FD's on two flush flops I find Flopzilla much more difficult and inaccurate (due to me making mistakes when counting hands separately from Flopzilla) on this type of flop.

My suggestion on how to do it would be to just have two 'bckdr fd.(1crd)' filters.
One (A) would be for hands that had a backdoor FD with their highest card (inc. all pairs) and one (B) would be for hands that had a backdoor FD with their lowest card.
It would then be easy to filter out all the hands that you didn't want included, in the same way as you can now with the 'bckdr fd.(2crd)' filter.

The easiest way around problems like this is to uninstall and reďnstall to a different directory.

If that doesn't work, try if you can start Flopzilla_T.exe or Flopzilla_C.exe manually.

Ok, there's a new beta with a bunch of smallish changes, as well as one card backdoor draws for two flush flops. Since these new stats dó require some "advanced" knowledge of filtering they are however a hidden feature. To turn them on, go to Settings->One crd bckdr flushdraw on 2flush flops in the menu.

Go here for download:

Looks good

Could we get some stats on the greyed out range? i.e. number of combos greyed vs ungreyed

Thanks

Press TAB for combo mode.
The filter at the bottom will say something like:
103 out of 383 combos pass through the filters.

That's greyed vs ungreyed.

Once again:

I can't see the hotness tool at all, no matter how far I expand the window to the right.

Edit: NM, version 1.4.9
