No worries, it shall happen.
Working on it today.
Lot of work to design the interface for this though.

Hi, I'm very intrested in purchasing your software, but I had a couple of questions.

Is this the right site? http://www.cardrunners-ev-calculator.com/Flopzilla.html

It says on the home page that it's 25$, but then on the registration page, it says that the registered version is 99$. Which one is it? Are there 2 different versions?

How do I pay you now that FTP is gone?

Thanks

There's two different pieces of software on the site:

CardRunnersEV, at $99, which allows a user to enter a decision tree, after which it performs all possible EV calculations on it:
http://www.cardrunners-ev-calculator.com/
To get to the download location, click on the blue "download" button.

Flopzilla, at $25, which shows you how a given range hits a given board. It allows for filtering postflop and can also perform equity calculations.
http://www.cardrunners-ev-calculator.com/Flopzilla.html
For Flopzilla, you'll need all the green buttons on the above linked page.
The small blue one takes you to CardRunnersEV, which is probably which causes the confusion.

Click on the big "register" button for payment options.
I can offer paypal, moneybookers and credit card.
The credit card link also offers several alternative methods.

Ok man, thanks for the clarifications. Flopzilla it is for now. I might give the CR thing a try in the future but for now I'd like to spend some time really integrating flop-hitting related strategies.

Paypal sounds perfect.

I'm running Vista but have UAC off. Any idea what to do?
This error is a result of an incomplete download.
Usually the problem resolves itself if you wait a bit, possibly reboot, and try again.

Something else you could try:
Try creating an exception in your virus scanner to the directory you're trying to download to. Possibly your scanner is blocking the download for some reason. If that's the case, please let me know which virus scanner you're using and I'll see if I can contact them.

Scylla, quick question.

I noticed that Flopzilla organizes ranges differently from PokerStove.

For ex: 15% of hands on Stove is AA through 77, AK through AT, A9s A8s A7s, KQ KJ KT K9s, QJ QTs and JTs

On Flopzilla, 15% is AA through 22, AK through AT, A9s, KQ KJ KTs, QJ QTs and JTs.

Could you please explain the difference between the two ways of ranking hands and why you chose this one in particular, etc..?

That range is a NL range, while the pokerstove range is more a LHE one.
To switch to the pokerstove one, click the limit/NL button in the upper left and you'll toggle to the pokerstove/limit range.

Ok thanks, is there an explanation somewhere as to why the hands are ranked the way they are, since they obviously aren't ranked purely by PF equity?

They're just ranked roughly by playability, although of course this would still be affected by personal taste/position/etc.

Registration keys are locked to the computer they're registered to, so you'll need a key that's generated for your new PC.
Please mail support (support@cardrunners-ev-calculator.com) with your hardware ID and I'll send you a new key.
To get your hardware ID, start Flopzilla and select "register" from the menu.

Cheers,

Scylla

+3 for option to save more hand ranges.
Ability to rename them and edit the range themselves(probably by over write) will also be nice.
Additional nice thing will be having the ability to bold them(or change color but it is probably more complex).

Also, If you can add the ability to see how many combos there are in the entire range, it will be nice. Currently it only show's the %(even in combo mode).
You can create a flop and watch how many combos there are, but then there are some blocked cards.
A lot of people use combos do design their PF ranges so having the ability to see how many combos there in the entire range before any additional cards are seen, will be handy.

Thanks.

I'm adding a dropdown menu if a range is rightclicked. See pic below for the current status.

A custom color should be fine. I'll add it to the dropdown.

I'm adding a popup, so that if you hover over a range you can see what's in it.

Sweet, the category thing is great.
Just make sure, by right click I want to have the ability to rename the category/range. Also I want to have the ability to save to a specific range that is already exist(which will function to edit ranges instead of creating new range, deleting the existing one and switch places which you have to do now).
Adding coloring will make things even smoother.

What I meant in the second part is the ability to see how many combos there are in the range. So if my range is QQ+, AK - I don't want to see only 2.56%, I want to see 34 combos. I just want to made that clear

Thanks again.

Yes, all of the above should be no problem.

I'll see what I can do. It shouldn't be that hard. Please remind me later in case I forgot to add it.

I'm having a problem starting the program. Basically I get the "starting flopzilla, this window will close in five seconds", then the window closes and Flopzilla doesn't start. I've tried shutting down my security software and adding it to my exceptions list in windows firewall, still doesn't work. Really weird since I've had it for a long time and it's always worked before, although tonight was the first time I've attempted to use it in months.

Hi,

It sounds like you have some corrupted or outdated files.
Please go to http://www.cardrunners-ev-calculator...Flopzilla.html for the latest version.
You may need to uninstall first before reïnstalling.
If it still doesn't work, try uninstalling and reïnstalling to a different directory.

After an update yesterday, Flopzilla_T.exe has been identified as trojan TR/Spy.2707456.5 by Avira. False positive?

Yes, virustotal is detecting 8/43 false positives.
http://www.virustotal.com/file-scan/...c12-1311782252

I'm currently working on the new update and will post that in about 24 hours.
That should get rid of the issue.

Normally I'd post it right now, but considering that I'm almost done with the new version I suppose it would be a bit overkill.

Had the same problem-Flopzilla didn`t open after the message "this window will close in 5 sec". So I uninstalled my old version and reinstalled but all my personal data with ranges are gone. Can I find them in a another folder? Or must I make new ranges?

And another problem is that I can't see if I use a trial version or not, now. When I go to the register tab it tells me I should enter my name and my key. But I don't know if I will find my old key. But otherwise it seems everything works fine. There is no hint that I use a trial version, so I guess I don't need to look for my original key to register?

If everything works as it should, the old directory should still exist and contain your custom files. They should not have been removed by the uninstallation process.

Check if you can enter the board up until the turn/river.
The trial version only works for the flop.
Oh, and the trial version gives an annoying message upon startup that you have X days left on your trial.

PS: Been working all day on that update, and I'm just about done. I'll post in a couple of hours unless I run across some major bug.
