Some other suggestions for a name:'

Floptastic
Flopalicious
Flopfelch
Tossed Salad

and ...

Snowball.

Perhaps, though, I just need to get out more.

Well, after a few weeks of on and off tweaking I've finished with the improvements for my flop texture analysis software, new name "Flopzilla!!!".

Go here for download.

New features:
- Quickselects for predefined ranges
- Analysis now also works if no boardcards are selected
- Analysis now also works with more than 3 board cards selected
- New name+icon
- Start screen and automatic updates

Flopzilla requires you to enter a range and a flop and will then tell you how often this range hits this flop and how.

Flopzilla is extremely fast and doesn't even require a "Compute" button, whenever you change something in the ranges it's immediately updated in the "Statistics" section. I've written the tool so that it has a minimal amount of bells and whistles and is as easy to use as I can make it. In the current setup you never need to go into some submenu, all the data is on your screen all the time.

Here's a brief recap of all the functionality:

Cheers,

Scylla

Feature request:

submit a "range" of flops

e.g. AsKsXs AsKs (fixed) X (variable)
In this case X equals 2s to Qs

Just click the mouse where you want to start, keep it pressed, and move it over everything you want to select.
Very fast and convenient.

Would it be possible to ad mixed strategies? For example I'd like to make a calling 3bet range including 20 % of my AKo hands.

Oops, misunderstood what you were asking for.
No, unfortunately this is not possible.
I could add it, but it would add too much to the complexity on the part of the user imho.
I'm trying to go for ease of use here.

Thought about it, and mathematically it's not that hard.
Problem is, how do I add this functionality without decreasing ease of use.

Seems like the installer I use is prompting some spyware warnings.
Not sure what to make of it, I'll send them an e-mail.
Doesn't sound too harmful to me, but we'll see.

Flopzilla itself contains no spyware of any kind by the way.
I know, because I wrote it

Edit: Ok just checked their website. They explicitly say their software contains no spyware. Looks like a false positive to me. Any reason I should dig deeper?

This program is focussed primarily at flop analysis and is written to be extremely easy to use. There's not submenus, no compute buttons, nothing. Everything is easy to change, you can see in one instant what range and board you've selected and edit those, as well as the output.

Stoxpoker Combo counts combos. Totally different thing.
