From what I can tell the website is functioning properly, so I don't immediately see what could be causing the confusion. Flopzilla can be downloaded here: http://www.flopzilla.com/download.html. And it can be purchased here: http://www.flopzilla.com/registration.html

The registration fee is a one time payment of $25. All updates are included and there's no renewal fees or any other tricks. People who purchased as early as 2009 are still getting free updates today. So a single purchase is indeed all that is needed.

I've added a 50% weight filter to these Tx top pairs on the turn.

Is it possible to only have the 50% weight apply to JT-KTs, and set ATs to 100%? I've been toying around with the filters but can't seem to do it.

Currently, if you want to attach different weights to individual hands, then this can be done in the preflop matrix. We can always look into more elaborate postflop filtering functions for later releases, however, depending on how deep you want to go with your analysis, you may be interested in taking a look at our upcoming software GTO+. GTO+ is primarily a GTO solver with some quite advanced features, however, as part of its interface it also offers an internal version of Flopzilla. This internal version has a slightly different approach and contains the ability to filter for just about anything that you might like, including weights for individual hands. There's quite a bit more additional functionality in GTO+, so I will just provide you with a link. For demonstration videos, download and a more detailed description, please go here: http://www.cardrunnersev.com/gtoplus.html

Can you be more specific as to which problem you're having? The post that you're quoting seems to be having some sort of issue, but does not specify what this issue is. If it's a connection issue, as far as I can tell, the website can be reached from all possible browsers from all systems. In this case, connection issues are often local and temporary. Anyhow, can you please specify in a bit more detail what the problem is? And whether you can reach the website via a proxy?

We have never received any issues about this, nor is there anything about this in their house rules (google "888 poker house rules"). That being said, it's of course not possible for me to provide official answers on someone else's policies. If you have any questions about 888, then I can only recommend that you contact their support directly.

Hi

With regards to holdEQ and flopzilla how does the program work out equity realisation. As there is a feature for flop equity/turn and river when entering preflop ranges. I did a check and there seems to be some math formula for this as not all hands have the same realisation (which they shouldn't of course). I am interested how this was done across various groups of holdings.

The preflop calcs are done with precomputed tables.
There's only a limited number of possible matchups, so there's no need to calculate them live.

Unfortunately it's not possible for me to go into detail here.
We are working on GTO+, so I don't have too much time available.

From what I can tell the site is up.

As for the license check, this is not via the flopzilla website, so this should be a different issue.
Should this issue persist, then please send an e-mail to support.

As for the connection issue to Flopzilla.com, I'm not sure why this would be. I get these reports from time to time, but the website appears to be up from all possible locations (https://www.uptrends.com/tools/uptime) and from almost all possible browsers (http://browsershots.org/).

It looks like there is some poor performance locally today for the site:
https://gyazo.com/38a63451634c47b0282eedea400f7b25

I get this when I open flopzilla but I have latest version AFAIK (1.0.5.0):
https://gyazo.com/8f2d0ef8708c92f4dc3eeb39be45f8b8

I guess I will just wait and see if it just works tomorrow. I have been using it for several years without any problems before today.

Hi. This is probably an easy one but how do I edit pre-existing ranges? If I click on a range on the left hand menu I get the purple overlay. I can then double-click to get that range on to the main grid. However if I go and add or remove hands to/from that range the changes are not persisted. Is it something to do with the Overwrite option from the right-hand click menu? I seem to have done this already by accident but I don't know how I managed it and I can't figure it out.

I am aware that I can just go and create new ranges each time but that's time consuming and not as easy to work with.

Ideally I want to duplicate an existing range and then add or remove hands from it and save it so that it is now different from the range from which it was copied from.

Yes, that's indeed how it works.
Just load the range and then edit as you see fit.
After that, right-click its name in the predef menu and select "overwrite".

Fantastic thanks. I think it being called Overwrite rather than Save was throwing me or something </excuse for being an idiot>

Hi again,

I'm having a problem synching Hold EQ with Flopzilla. Each time I attempt to do it, it crashes:

I've tried restarting my machine but the same thing happens again afterwards.

Yes, this was unfortunately a bug in the previous version of HoldEq (v1.1.5). It ran fine for most users, which is why it was not originally detected when we released it. However, a small group of users did indeed run into this issue.

To fix this, can you please upgrade to the latest version? Flopzilla v185 can be downloaded here: http://www.flopzilla.com/download.html. V1.8.4.1 will fix it as well, although if you happen to be using v1.8.4.0 then you may need to uninstall prior to running the installer file.

Hi scylla,

Are there any plans to make flopzilla ranges compatible with Piosolver, Monkersolver or Equilab?

Right now Pio/Monker/Equilab-Power are all compatible with each other, and it's very easy to copy and paste ranges between them all. This is becoming increasingly important due to the heavier use of solvers in today's games.

As much as I hate to say it, flopzilla is starting to feel a little outdated in this sense and I find myself using it less and less when working with ranges due to the lack of cross-compatibility. This really sucks as flopzilla has always been top 3 in terms of best overall poker software imo.

The only workaround I've found is to copy and paste solver ranges from pio/monker into equilab, then copy and paste the equilab format into flopzilla. This doesn't work too well though as flopzilla only supports up to 5 weights which is kind of frustrating.

Flopzilla deals with building intuition for how ranges hit boards, combos, equity calculations, etc. When it comes to GTO, we offer GTO+, which is a solver of similar speed and identical results as the other solvers. It contains an internal version of Flopzilla, with this one being specialized at analyzing GTO ranges. So the variation of Flopzilla that you're asking for already exists, just in a different tool and specialized for that particular purpose. And on top of that, by offering it as an internal feature it has the advantage of not constantly requiring exporting/importing between programs, but working instantly, often not even requiring as much as the push of a button. Please just take a look at the demonstration videos for GTO+ so far: http://www.cardrunnersev.com/gtoplus.html. And on top of the regular GTO functionality, we offer more extensive analysis tools and database/scripting functionality (see the second video). We will indeed perform work on Flopzilla in 2018 and add new features, however, I think that you will already find the functionality that you're asking for in GTO+.
