It's a one-time fee.
No tricks.
All updates are free as well.

Ok, thanks. I really can´t decide if I´ll buy Flopzilla or not. Are there huge differences between Equilab and Flopzilla? I´m tryin to understand the differences between the two.

Could you please just use Flopzilla's trial? I'm really busy. I really can't take an hour out of my day every time someone takes one minute out of theirs to ask me to compare product X with product Y.

PS:
Sorry, I'm a bit cranky. It's the middle of a heat wave over here and I don't have air conditioning (kind of redundant if there's only two weeks a year where you need it). Still, Flopzilla and Equiliab have little in common. There's not much point in looking at the differences between two things that are different. So, please use Flopzilla's trial. And ... really, I'm very busy. I really don't have the time.

No worries, I understand. Thanks anyway.

Watching your video about the filters, I understood that if we want to change a strong range to a weak one (maybe a checking back range), we have to do it manually through the filters, right?
How about having a button that can "invert" the filters with one single click?
Maybe something like this:

Ok, I'll see if I can get that to work.

Thank you for the feedback!

Postflop?
Postflop nothing significantly has changed, so if you have some sort of slowdown, then please set an exception in your virus scanner for Flopzilla_C.exe and Flopzilla_T.exe.

Preflop?
If you mean preflop:
Previous version ran preflop calcs when you pressed on the Flopzilla logo.
It took at most 30 seconds.
The latest version no longer requires you to press a button; it computes the stats automatically in within about 3 seconds (the new algorithm is about 10 times faster). While doing computations it will show a progress bar. Perhaps this is what you're referring to? Because you're comparing the speed of the new preflop calcs with the speed of the postflop calcs?

Something else?
Or are you referring to something differently entirely?
Please let me know.

Don't worry, your ranges are still on your computer.

To restore them, first you'll need to see them again again:
- Go to Flopzilla's main directory (right-click its icon and select "open file location")
- Now run Flopzilla_C.exe (or Flopzilla_T.exe if you're in trial mode) normally
You should now see your ranges again.

The new version of Flopzilla allows you to export/import ranges in the form of a text-block.
- Go to "Save/Load->Export predefined ranges'
- Copy the text-block

Now run Flopzilla.exe.
Go "to Save/Load->Import predefined ranges"
Paste the block of text
Press OK.

That should restore your ranges.

ty a lot
about the fastness (is it the right word? dunno ) i'm talking just about the preflop when while you are selecting ranges or combos the logo appears on the right and a drag bar under it, but maybe it's just a " seems to"
ty again

Ah, right.
No, actually that's about 10 times faster.

In previous versions it could take up to 30 seconds for these calcs to complete.
For that reason a calc was only performed if a user requested it (by clicking on the logo).

In the new version however, since I got the algorithm to do the calcs within seconds, I felt that I might as well let Flopzilla perform them automatically whenever a change is made in the matrix.

It probably "feels" like a slowdown because you're used to Flopzilla's (postflop) calcs being almost instant, while these new calcs for preflop take a few seconds.

After updating FZ on my PC and laptop, I tried to re-register using the settings that were stored, but it said operation could not be completed.

I've had to do this a couple of times on my laptop, and its getting a little frustrating.

Am I being ******ed? It is Windows 8, and it is a PoS tbh, so maybe its that.

I upgraded to the newest version and it deleted all of my stored ranges. Is there anyway to get those back?

Hi!

I have saved a couple of ranges succesfully in flopzilla by

1. clicking the green range button and writing the range there in text form.

2. then howering the mouse over the "store range..." text and clicking it and giving a name to this range.

However, when I now try to add some more ranges in the same way, the ranges doesnt appear in the flopzilla anymore after I have closed and opened again flopzilla eventhough earlier everything worked well.

There havent been any updates between those.

What is the right way to save a range in the flopzilla?

When you close and restart, does the range appear at all or is it there, but empty?

Also, could you try pressing Ctrl+M after changing your ranges?
Ctrl+M forces the software to store the ranges to file.
If everything goes right, you should hear two beeps.
After that, close the program and check if the ranges are nów saved correctly.

Yes, I can see the name of the range, but it is empty.

Now I'm going to try that Ctrl+M

Jeeiij! Ctrl+M worked.

How that Ctrl+M differs from Ctrl+S?

Ok, that should give me a decent idea of where to look.
Ctrl+M forces the software to save the predefined ranges to disk.
So apparently this step is not automatically taken when you add a range.
I'll take a look at the code and will probably post a fix in a few days.

Thank you for the feedback!

okay, and also, I didnt use Ctrl+S when I earlier stored the ranges.

But they still somehow saved because after closing and opening, they were there.

So do one have to even use ctrl+s?
