Yes, we'll be adding a lot more HUD position stats. We have UOPFR by position, but not just PFR. A ton more an pop-ups will be added here soon. And a player analysis section is in the works as well. Good suggestions.
AIEV has it's flaws but I like to look at it if I had a bad session to see how lucky/unlucky I got. I guess it's unnecessary if it takes a decent amount of work, but would definitely like to see it.

Looking forward to the HUD updates. One more thing I'd like to mention:

- For the 3bet%/4bet% on the HUD, shouldn't the % be the amount a player has 3bet/4bet when factoring ALL of their hands? It looks like the number is currently based on the % of times someone 3bets/4bets when they are given the chance too.

Example: A player UTG raises pre. They won't have the chance to 3bet. Only 4bet. So I think it's being interpreted as not having the chance to 3bet, so it's not counted as a hand for that stat.

It says a certain player with 1500 hands played has a 3bet% of 24.5%. I hover over the stat and it gets 24.5% by dividing 134/548. I think that number should be 8.93% (134/1500), not 24.5%. I believe other major poker programs (HEM/PT) do it that way as well. There's a bunch of players who have a higher 4bet% than 3bet% because of this and I don't think that's right. I apologize if I am mistaken.

Also, I forgot to mention that if the default HUD overlay isn't working for you because the transparent part is overlaying too far you can change this to a PLAIN text HUD (in the HUD tab, top right corner there's a button) and it will not overlay as large. It will snap to the grid. Also there's a vertical HUD that is the same, but doesn't block the player timer if that's a concern (last top drop down that says Drivehud HORZ - you can change this to VERT).

Thanks for the feedback. Anything you do or don't like, don't be shy. We'll listen to all feedback.

3-bet/4-bet% is calculated correctly like we are currently doing it. It's not on total hands, but on opportunity. I think there's also a 3-bet range and 4-bet range stat that you might be talking about, and that is based on total hands. We're using the typical 3-bet% and 4-bet% that players commonly use when discussing hands online. Those are not based on total hands, but only calculated if the opportunity exists. Thank you for the question though.

I think you'll find most cash game players will want to know their AIEV. I definitely would include it if I were you.

Yeah, I can kind of understand it for Omaha players, but still the coach in me wants to say it's useless. It already exists in the hands grid but it's not in the sessions report. We'll add it here soon, thanks.

Re: DriveHUD - Poker HUD & Database Software

I started my 30 day free trial when drivehud was released and it did not work in Sportsbetting.ag
I mainly play on Sportsbetting, so I was unable to use drivehud at all until the patch was made. I've been using hold em indicator, but since drivehud apparently works now, is there anyway to start the 30 day free trial over again and if I like it, I will purchase.

Re: DriveHUD - Poker HUD & Database Software

Most of these issues are related to Zone

The money won is wrong , the hole cards that show up in the "last 100" are villains cards

doesnt keep up with zone , sometimes not even regular tables

I paid for card catcher which was brutal with all the bugs and now this?

This has potential but if it keeps stopping , lagging on data , logging inaccurate data I am not purchasing

I'm going to try other formats besides zone as well as betonline
as give the full 30 days for a true assessment

You got zone data? That's pretty cool. Yeah, it doesn't support zone. I'm not even sure how you got data / info. There's no point in it supporting zone on Bovada/ignition, you can't use any of the stats. It's not like FT or other fast poker sites where you have a player ID. None exists on zone. Hand information isn't complete. We didn't even do testing w/ it because we didn't even think it would work.

Yeah, sorry about that but it shouldn't even be working with it at all. The rest of the program should work fine. Sorry you had some initial issues w/ the catcher, but I assume it's working fine for you now. We're trying to put together a more affordable option for users, so I appreciate your support and feedback.

Thanks for the reply , I think you should at least record the hand histories and profit/loss for zone ...but drivehud doesnt look like it can keep up with the constant seat changes in zone

If there was/is someway to get zone hands on there, we will do it of course. I don't think you understand though that Bovada/Ignition is unique in it's the only anonymous site. There's no ID to tie any data to. Because of that there's no way to run a HUD like on other fast poker sites. It's impossible. Also, the data we do see from them is incomplete, so I'm not sure it's possible to just get the data w/o the HUD. We will look into it more though, because if we can, we will of course.

Re: DriveHUD - Poker HUD & Database Software

DriveHUD offers some unique default HUD's for Bodog/Ignition poker. One of the great things about DriveHUD is the flexibility and options for the HUD's, and we'll be adding more unique HUD options in the near future as well. If you don't like the default HUD for Bodog/Ignition which looks like this:

You can switch it up to a vertical HUD, which looks like this:

The DriveHUD VERT HUD won't hide the timer, which some people like, and it will allow for more space over your table. To switch to the vertical HUD just go to the HUD tab at the top of DriveHUD. Select DriveHUD VERT from the HUD Screen drop down menu.
If you like the classical HUD view, with just stats overlayed on the table, you can switch to the too. In the same HUD tab window there's a button at the top right here:

Then you'll get the classical HUD layout which looks like this. Just mouse over any stat to see what the stat is and how many times iterations of it have been counted:

Re: DriveHUD - Poker HUD & Database Software

@freakdaddy
We cannot see any of the pictures you posted today because they are set to private.

Thank you for making this software! For too long I've felt like a second-class citizen here in USSA land. I was hoping someone would make a product for Bovada that auto imported HH, included a HUD, and had the ability to data mine our own HH. Good work!

Someone just pointed me to this product this morning. I used it for a couple hours on Ignition today while 4 tabling cash games and here are some initial thoughts:

-Tooltips in the main window would be helpful. It was not at all clear that I needed to click the "play" button in order to start the HUD and importing hands. Now that I know how to start/stop it's obvious, but initial impressions are very important and there's no reason to make that unintuitive. It seems odd that the play button seems tied into the "HUD" tab of the application. I would think the play button would be on the extreme left all by itself since that's what is starting/stopping the HH importing as well as launching the HUD?

-Should the vertical stats be the default? I have to run my 4 tables at min size and the default view obscures the timers which pretty much makes that unusable as I would think pretty much every player wants to see the timers.

-The HUD obscures the "player number." This might not be a big deal but when i see someone rage tilting in chat I want to know who that is on the table. I can see their player number in chat, but i cannot see where they are on the table because of the HUD. Maybe add a tooltip in the HUD or somesuch where if someone mouses over that player for a bit the TT would display their number?

-I don't get the purpose of the "power button" icon in the upper right corner of the window. In most GUI-based operating systems users are extremely familiar with clicking the X in the top right of the window to close the application. The power button seems extraneous/uneeded? Again since there was no tooltip I clicked on it to see what it did and was surprised it closed the application.

-I like the dials on the dashboard tab. a possible quality of life improvement would be if the dials had green/yellow/red ranges much like the redline on a tachometer to show ideal ranges. For example maybe VPIP < 10 as red and VPIP > 30 as also red with the rest of the range green/yellow? I understand these values are dependent on a number of factors. They could also be user definable. Also things like 3 bet% will always be a low number and in that case the dial should really be logarithmic as opposed to linear because it will be very low for pretty much all players. Again it's not a big deal, but if you put in the time to make the dials why not make the feedback they give as good as possible?

-I think the Dashboard tab is very clean and straightfoward. One additional feature i would love to see would be a "heatmap" like other products have. By this i mean a grid showing the 169 starting hands where the pairs are in a diagonal line from upper left to lower right. The suited hands in the upper right of the grid, and the unsuited hands in the lower left. maybe with 2 sets of filters: position, and win/loss type. SO maybe they can filter by all positions/early/late/blinds and amounts being either in raw dollars bb/100 or similar. I really like data mining and those heatmaps are very handy to visually see exactly what hands are (and are not) worth playing.

-Overall the application appeared to get 100% of all the hands i was dealt. The amount is said i was up after one session was exactly the same as I was up so at the very least it did not miss any of the hands i played where I either won/lost money.

-The HUD, on the otherhand, went a bit awol on me. I'm on windows 10. The HUD seemed to start up fine, but after awhile the HUD on 1 of my 4 tables went AWOL. It stopped collecting any stats. after an hour it still said i had only played 12 hands and all the values were at 0.0 Some other players at the table had stats. Eventually the HERO stats simply went away. New players that entered were never given any HUD. Eventually (maybe after another 30 minutes or so) the HUD for the hero did return. The values displayed on that table were largely messed up as it had some players with all 0 stats despite being there and playing for an extended length of time.

I will send the log file and a support message from within the application. Hopefully that will help.

It wasn't clear from your website/FAQ but do you accept payment in bitcoins? For USSA players the preferred method for ignition is now bitcoins and it would a big plus if you accepted them as well.

Thanks again. I will most likely purchase a license and I look forward to continued improvements with your product.

Thank you for your thoughtful post. It's much appreciated. I'm glad you like it so far, and we're looking forward to continuing to improve DH.

Yes, tool tips are already on our list. We wanted to finish some placement of other things and add these.

As far as the starting the HUD, it should default to play/on. I'm guessing yours didn't for some reason. I'm not sure why, but the default is supposed to be on, so you just have to load up some tables.

Quote:

Possibly. I think it's a preference thing. Personally, I don't care about seeing the timer. Some people do, and that's why we have multiple options. We'll be adding more as well.

If you mouse over the player type or ? mark it will tell you what player number it is.

We're going to be adding something similar, not with the gauges, but something that is similar in this way. It's a good idea though.

Yes, please do, but I believe this is a known issue that should be fixed in this next build. I'd download the link I post tonight and try it. If it happens again, please send a log. It's from the settings menu -> support tab. Thanks.

No, it doesn't accept bitcoins but we're working on that. It's a little complicated with our shopping cart that has been customized quite a bit, so we're working on some implementation with that.

And yes, you better get a license. Thanks for all of the feedback and ideas. Keep them coming as we will consider everything, and have already implemented several changed based on feedback.
