There is no processed data folder in the drive hud dir. I never had that problem until last night. I just imported new hands and they stayed in the hhs folder. I guess it was a one time glitch? I usually keep drive hud open for days at a time.

Apparently unchecking the 'Moved Processed File to:' box deleted the database

Checking a box isn't going to delete your database. And Drivehud isn't going to delete hands in your archive folder. It's just not possible.

So let's figure out what did happen. What site are you playing on for these hands?

Do you have your playerID set for the poker site your playing on (top right hand pull down menu in drivehud) to your pokersite ID?

When I unchecked the box it froze drive hud for a few mins then when I clicked on overall results nothing showed up. I made sure no filters were applied. I did not check the player pull down menu.

I play on ignition. I've been using drive hud without problems for a year plus. It just happened one time. I just deleted and reinstalled drive hud. It seems to be working fine now.

No idea why unchecking a setting would freeze anything, maybe unless hands were being imported, but glad it's working for you again now.

If you have hands on ignition, they are not saved into the hand archive folder. Drivehud creates hands internally, because as you know ignition doesn't provide them in real time. If you download the hands from the poker client, and then import them into drivehud, it will store them in the hand archive after import.

Quick question- if I set the database to store in a Dropbox folder shared by a couple computers...can I access everything seamlessly from a desktop and a laptop? A bit of a computer illiterate...just a thought.

If used it to copy the files over to your other systems before you played, it would work. But just placing it in a dropbox folder wouldn't work. Drivehud wouldn't know to access it there.

I tried doing that, it wont work. there easier way is to export the session hand history and save it to your dropbox(i use google drive) then import the HH to your other DriveHUD.

Or if you do not switch PC often, just make a backup file then restore it on your other PC everytime you switch system.

It helps. Thank you! I don’t bother to swap pc’s often. I thought my wife was going to hog the main PC more (she did turn $30 into $200 playing neighbors in roulette tonight!)...but she is happy doing it on my old laptop.

Question about transferring to a new system. I just read the FAQ on Drivehud website.

I don't want to transer all my hands to new computer. Theres some hands from when I played micros I could do without on new PC.

I kind of would like to keep them on old PC but not new PC, if possible.

Whats best action?

If you want to transfer, but there's old hands you want to keep, the best thing to do is to backup your database, and restore on your new system (make sure you have the latest drivehud on both systems). Then on the new system delete the old hands. You can go to your sessions report and delete session by session by right clicking, or you can create a filter for the hands you want, go to the overall report and right click to delete all the hands there.

Im trying to install on new PC. Clicked DL free trial and its saying

"install failed. Please fix the issues and then retry the setup"

But the box for issues is totally blank.

Clicking the link above worked. There may be an issue with the DL free trial link.

Yes and no hand converter necessary.

Download your hands from the site after 24hrs.

Then look for the Import tab at the top right of DriveHUD.

Select Download from directory.

For me they get stored in C: > Users > MCA > Bovada.lv Poker > Hand History

I assume it's similar for Bodog unless you changed the location manually.

Just use the import pull down menu in Drivehud located at the top right. But yes, they will import and best of all they will fill in any of the missing hole card data so you can see all of your opponents hands, regardless of showdown. It's really good for population analysis.
