That solved the problem. I've ran into another problem unfortunately . While the HUD appears on the table, all the stats read zero and the hands aren't importing into DriveHUD. I sent a ticket into support. Hopefully I can get this resolved quickly. Thanks for your help.

You need to make sure the license you have supports the table limits you're playing. If they don't, it won't import that data and you'll see zeros.

Since people have been asking a lot about the bumper stickers, this is essentially what they are going to look like in the next build. You'll be able to create any kind of stat or filter value and apply it w/ a tag and descriptor. Similar to badges in a lot of ways I guess, but it should be much easier to build and import.



They will be out in the next build on Monday/Tuesday of this week. 888 support will most likely be in that build as well, but it just depends on how testing goes this weekend.

This was the problem. My mistake. Support was very helpful/friendly. Been using it for a few days and have some suggestions:

1. (Most Important) Would like to see opponents cbet% when 3b preflop and fold to cbet% in 3bet pot as options in the HUD.

2. AIEV - I know I mentioned this a couple of months back, but would really like to see this in DriveHUD.

3. I would like to be able to see a list of biggest winners/losers at a certain stake.

Yes, we're going to be adding a lot more stats of course. We wanted to focus on compatibility with some US facing sites, and as we expand we'll be adding a lot more functionality of course. This next update will have some more stats and "bumper stickers" as well.

Yeah, we're finishing up a new HUD layout manager that is going to be pretty sick. But this next build is going to have a ton more stats. We tried to focus on the most important ones that most people use first. There's still a lot in there, and we tried to focus on some new stats we think will add more value as well.

When you guys update the HUD layout manager, could you make it possible to individually move around the icons, etc? Make it so that certain stats can be put into certain "panels," and each group of panels corresponds to each player. Then, the user will have the ability to fine-tune the exact placement of whatever stats they feel are important to them.

The current problem is that because of how the built-in layout is configured, important things like a player's timer, player's number are hidden. Right now, the whole cluster moves as one item.

It's a work in progress, but congrats on stepping up and filling in the Bovada/Ignition stats void.

Oh, and if you could add a pot odds indicator, that would be awesome for multi-tabling what with the 15-second timers.

Yes absolutely. I've said this a couple of times in previous posts on here, but the original development plan was to have the HUD layout manager in place before first release. We decided to release before so we could have a full database option that supports these US facing sites. But the layout manager is going to be a full snap to grid that you can detach and attach a lot of different kinds of panels and features to. It's pretty awesome, but still being finished.

In the meantime there are other HUD options. There's a vertical HUD that doesn't hide the users timer (for me I don't care about this), and there's also a Plain traditional HUD that removes all panels. So there's several options.



And yes a pot odds indicator is already on the to do list.

Also, I think there might be a bug worth examining. Here's what happened:

- I opened a $0.02/$0.05 PLO8 table (32 hands total, $0.84 win), then about half an hour later opened a PLO $0.02/$0.05 table (3 hands total, for a $0.17 loss) for a total of two tables

- No separate session or category showed up for PLO, even though the individual PLO hands did show up in DriveHUD (the PLO hands were lumped in with PLO8, as if it were detecting them just fine)

- DriveHUD showed my win as $0.84, as if it completely ignored the PLO data. I had only 32 hands in my database. This, despite the PLO hands showing up in the lower part of the dashboard.

Is this because of some sort of minimum number of hands required for session to be logged, or is it a bug?

Another issue is that even though the big blind was 5 cents, DriveHUD showed it as a 10-cent table. Which value is used when determining what stakes will be logged at the various subscription models (micro, small, mid, pro)?

When playing a NLHE micro table, the limit gets correctly recorded as $0.02/$0.05. However, in the same session, a PLO $0.02/$0.05 table gets logged as a $0.05/$0.10 table.

There seems to be some instability as far as hand capture is concerned. Even though I had DriveHUD up and running before launching Ignition, I had to stop and restart the HUD using the stop/play button before it would start capturing hands.

EDIT:

When playing a $0.05/$0.10 PLO8 table, it gets recorded as a $0.10/$0.25 table. Hopefully this will help narrow down the bug.

I'm going to take a look at the PLO8 issue. Thanks. That seems really odd, as I haven't noticed this even when I play, but I will double check this.

As far as instability w/ Ignition though, this unfortunately is something that's going on recently once they fully moved from Bovada to Ignition. There's a lot of undetectable disconnects happening, and when this happens the data stream gets reset. If you let it sit it will eventually catch and start writing hands. We're trying to look into some work arounds, but I'm not sure how realistic it is. We're hoping they will work out their kinks and get their servers more stable. That will completely eliminate this issue. If any work around exists though, we'll make it happen.

I'm very excited to tell you about one of the latest features in DriveHUD (v1.0.3.602)- "Bumper Stickers". This is a fully functional "badge" type system that will place stickers on your HUD related to specific types of detected players tendencies. We've included several default bumper stickers to get you started such as:

One and Done - A player who c-bets at a decently high rate, but then gives up on the turn and river too much.

3 for Free - A player who 3-bets a little too much, but folds to a 4-bet too often.

Way too Early - Someone who open raises too wide of a range in early position pre-flop.

To edit existing bumper stickers or create ones of your own simply Click on the HUD tab in DriveHUD. And select the tag looking icon on the bottom hand side of the screen (as shown below):


You'll get the main bumper sticker pop-up that looks like this below:


To create a new bumper sticker simply:

1. Click on CREATE NEW at the top.
2. Enter a name for your bumper sticker in the sticker name text box. DriveHUD will use the first letter of each word, up to 3 words, to create the bumper sticker abbreviation.
3. Enter a description for your new bumper sticker that will appear on mouse over of the sticker. This will help explain what the sticker is in case your forget.
4. Choose a color for the sticker by clicking on the color dropper icon.
5. Enter some stat ranges that will help trigger this bumper sticker and/or Filters. To add a filter click on the Add Filter button. You can create a filter and click ok when you’re done and it will appear in the bumper sticker screen. To remove the filter, click on the X icon at the top right of the listed filter.
6. When you are done, click SAVE. Your new bumper sticker will trigger in your HUD when an opponent has met the stat ranges and/or filters you set.
7. NOTE – This newly created bumper sticker will only apply to the currently selected HUD layout.

Literally 1 day after I bought my license!

I've installed the trial version, and the HUD overlay is severely misaligned. Anything past a single table is too obstructed to play. I do like the customization it offers. I think "fold to 2nd barrel" and "fold to 3rd barrel" under turn/river would be useful, both total and in 3bet pots.

I ran it for a quick 400h session to test it anyways, 50% zoom and 50% regulars. Some zoom hands look like they were double-logged, yet I'm not sure all were actually recorded. I'm up 24bb for the session (sick brag), but down 65bb in the db.

I'm hoping these are issues I can fix on my end, as I like the database in and of itself, but as is I can't use it. Any suggestions?

Well, usually you go on heaters when you use Drivehud.

Thanks for the feedback. First, thing is there are other HUD options other than the default. You can use the PLAIN HUD as well. The next build we have a new HUD creation process that will allow all panels to be split as well, but in the meantime, the PLain HUD might work better for you if you don't like the vertical hud. You can change this in the HUD tab, and select Plain HUD for the far right drop down, or the button to the right that says Use plain HUD.

Zoom is not supported. I'm not 100% sure why they are still being imported. It's something I'll have to speak to the developers about. So that's likely why the results are off. It's not catching all of those hands and none of them should be in there.

Any ETA on when the next build will be out? I'm strongly considering getting the mid stakes subscription.

But because I only play on Ignition, I'm a little bit worried that the intermittent failure to capture hands (due to the little disconnects) might never be fixed. You guys might be on track with software development, but Bovada/Ignition seem to be ignoring altogether the GLARING disconnect issues that have been plaguing players ever since the 4.28.00--or was it 4.27.00, don't remember--update when they removed the Stud games. I can tolerate a very rare failure to capture hands. But if this turns out to be a consistent issue, and is not something that DriveHUD is able to fix, is any sort of full or partial refund at all on the table?

As a poker player myself playing on there too, I totally hear you. It's been a bit of a pain, and they clearly need to resolve the issue here soon. I've been trying to get details on what their plan is, but it's like prying an oyster out of a live clam.

In the meantime, we are working on a process to recover data quicker when it does happen. ETA on a hot fix release is sometime this week as far as I know right now.
