Hmm yes, that's a problem. Really, what we want is if there are multiple {combo-group}'s, then you get two separate dropdowns, right? That would seem to be the most flexible. Although you're going to have a labeling issue there.
Yes this is exactly what I need. I think that one solution could be to use stuff like {combos-group-1} in the source file and then in the combonator you would have a dropdown for each of them. Or maybe you could use letters, so the source file would use {combos-group-a} etc,and you would set a=2,b=5etc in the calculator,in order to substitute group2 for each instance of group-a in the source file.

The calculator is the biggest reason for me to use Combonator over similar softwares, but as I am getting to more complicated spots, I ma limited by the way it works now and I feel like it shouldnt be that problematic to get this going (hopefully). So please think about it - I can beta test it for you if you want/need somebody.

I have a feature to request:

When i select different ranges and sue the suit selector, it would be nice to have them show up in the in postflop range thing.

When i select 65cc for example, it only says 65s.
It would like it to show up when i select different suits.
Maybe as an option under Output options would be nice, as it might be too much/cluttered info for some users.

Just a suggestion.

Trying to buy a license and keep getting this error message when I click buy:

Pokeramics.com is now some weird online shop so figured posting here would be better than emailing that address.

Urgh sorry about that. It seems like the mailing list signup is down at the moment. Can you try again and just uncheck 'please sign me up to the mailing list' at checkout? That should work.

Pokeramics was the original company name before it was acquired by pokerfuse. I let the domain expire. Sorry for the confusion.

Is it possible to view the distributions of hands you can make, pair, fd etc., with a certain hand without inputting a flop?

No, that tool is post-flop only.

bump, getting better at doing it manually but still wanting this...

Ok, something different; it doesn't seem that I can store preflop ranges that include the use of the suit selection tool, can you confirm?
Combonator Quote

Correct. Why would you want to store preflop ranges with suit selection? Surely preflop selection should be suit-agnostic.

The only reason i know that people want to do this is a way of doing "fake" weighting ("only raise with A7s 50% of the time"), and for that you have combonator's actual preflop weighting system (and these *are* stored in saved ranges)

cool beans, never used pf weighting, cheers.

minor nitpick: when you use pf weighting the % of the deck selected doesn't change accurately.

Any vids online to learn to use this program well? Just did buy it since CREV takes too much time to construct ranges.

Also, can you have combonator up when playing on stars?

I mean you 'can', in that the software doesn't prevent it (same as pokerstove et al) - but i don't think PokerStars allows technically allows you to use it to actually use it to search for answers in actual hands still active.

i.e. fine to have it up, just don't actually use it to help make decisions.

Ok won't use it in that case since my plan was to use it for pre flop ranges. Will just save the images and use that

Hey, lets say we are looking at what hands to defend on A28r. For that we want to select all hands that have 33%+ equity vs villain's cbetting range (88,22,AJs+,A8s,A2s,K9s+,K7s-K3s,Q9s+,Q7s-Q3s,J9s+,J7s-J3s,T9s,T7s-T6s,97s-95s,75s+,64s+,53s+,43s,AJo+,A8o,A2o,K9o+,K7o-K5o,Q9o+,J9o+,T9o,97o,76o). How would we proceed to do that in the calculator?

Right now I start by selecting villain's cbetting range on combonator, export it to equilab, start a new file on combonator for the player that defends and individually add some combos after looking at each of their equity vs villain's range that I exported to equilab. Is there any other method? Thanks.

Yes, i'm still here. The last version was a long time ago. I do hope to get a bug fix release out at some point, however bugs are minor and the software is quite stable and usable as it stands.
