What I've got so far can be found by going to the "Videos" button in the beta's startup screen.
I'll continue working on that video series in about a week.

As for your question, it's possible to set up a loop and let the software make unexploitable shoves for each stack size. You can make graphs of the EV performance as a function of the stack sizes. Or save the outcome for each stack size as a quicksave. And there's a couple of other possibilities as well. However, you can't save ranges to file. It would make it too easy for external software to operate CREV and use it as its engine.
Thanks! I watched the tutorial and was able to see how to run an Unexpl. shove via the script feature, but I'm not sure how to increase the stacksizes by 1bb for each loop.

I read that I can't create variables using stack size because those properties are set at the start of the hand.

Set variable 1 at some value that makes sense, for example 100.
Now attach variable 1 to each player's stack size, by going to the stacks menu (Ctrl+F2) and entering #1 instead of an actual number for the stack sizes.
And now write a script that goes through the desired range of variable 1.

An example
For example, please see these files for a script that varies variable 1 from 60 to 150 with a step of 5.
If you go to the "Stacks" menu you'll find that indeed the stack sizes are #1.

For every step the script makes, an unexploitable shove is performed, for which the EV is stored in memory.
At the end of the script, the graph of EV vs stacksize is shown (line 8).

http://www.crevfiles.com/crev/savefi...xploitable.rar

PS: The .txt file is the script. Save it to the /scripts subdirectory for the software to detect it. You can then load it from within the script edittor.

Is there any way to create a condition such that Villain bets only hands that are better than Hero's?

If Hero's hand is one specific starting hand, then the beta does indeed offer that.
In the "Made hand" section of the postflop menu, click on "Specific hand" and then enter Hero's hand; for example AcKd.
And then click on "At least" in the left column.

Are there currently any plans to create game tree software for PLO or add PLO functionality to cardrunnersEV?

That shouldn't be a problem.

I've been mostly using the old version but started using beta for NL trees. Under the postflop condition menu the predefined condition box is very difficult to use. There seems to be no way to scroll and it is making uncommanded selections. So since I have a fairly large number of predefined conditions, I can't access the most recent ones I've added because it will not allow me to scroll to the bottom. Is this a known issue? Maybe I need to update my version.

If you mouse over the predefined conditions field, you should be able to scroll up/down with your mouse scroller.

hi
I feel a bit bad after my last problem was me overlooking something too easy, but just cant find or figure out this one:

Im using the beta of CREV and hm2, and im trying to import hands played on microgaming, how do I do that? when I use the original HH and choose prima, it doesnt work, when i choose hm2 and use other formats, it doesnt work either. I cut out things like the hm2 link and result spoilers and tried various combinations (using the copy to clipboard function in hm2 to get other outputs), but just dont hit the right one.

prima/micro changed there HH a while ago to a kinda weird format, maybe its bc of that? would be great if you can help me figure that problem out, thanks!

HEM2 exports all hands in one single format, so imports should work for any site.

Have you followed the import instructions in the input field?:

Please copy-paste the hand history text into this field.

To get the hand history in HEM2, left-click a hand to select it.
Then, right-click it and select "View".
The "Hand Viewer" menu will now come up.
In its lower right, you can select "Copy to clipboard as ..."
Select the option "Plain text" as the output mode and press the "Copy to clipboard" button.
Now you can use Ctrl+V to paste the hand history into this field.

When copying the hand history, please make sure to remove this text.

jesus...I even read the text. problem is that I start analyzing when my head is too empty to grind, really sorry, its obviously working. (in my defense I always tell people that your tool is simply the best when it comes to analyzing :-) )

I have another problem that ill try to figure out tomorrow.

thanks again!

hi

i just had a quick look at the website (i already own flopzilla), is there a forum especially for users to interact and discuss the 2 products?

or is thread the only place where there's any real online interaction?

cheers ralph

I am part of such a forum that focuses on CREV analysis, but it is only for advanced users of the program that are very familiar with it and use it regularly. I believe there is no forum where more basic questions are answered and discussed. Still I believe scylla is doing an incredible job here answering every single question in depth, so big thanks for that!
